It is rainiy & windy & yucky this morning. Didn't get my walk in outside, but I did 4 miles w/ Leslie in the basement. Good thing I had my laptop w/ me cuz the power went out & if not for the laptop light I would have been left in total darkness. Lol!

We had a Kohls store open yesterday 20 minutes from our house...SO EXCITED! My sis & I went & we both bought the Kohls Cares Christmas cd. I think I'm going to like it. I listened to the 1st few songs. Seems like a good one!

Good morning! I actually did not get sick overnight and all day on sunday which is huge! I am starting to get optimistic about making a full recovery. still eating light foods which sucks of course but at least im not on iv anymore! and another big thing is it's my last day here!!!!!!! I am comin home to Ga tonight and I will be home in my own bed by tomorrow!! I have to go to the infirmary today to get some more antiboitics I did not get on friday. that is all that is on my to do list as I have already said my goodbye's to some folks here who I have become close to and packed my clothes....from what I hear we are still in the low90's in Ga so fall has not come yet to us,I think this weekend we are getting a front that will bring cooler temps which is right on schedule Sept is truly just another summer month for us! have a good day everyone and thanks to all who have kept me in your prayers,and Seawaters hopefully I will have made it home safely in 24 hours from now!!!

My father and I are off to the coast for what might be our final chance to check/do work on our cottage before the fall tenants arrive.

It's still overcast and humid down here, but I won't argue with any rain we get. It's been really dry here this summer. Bernie came to the store this morning, ready to work! He's finally well, so I left it with him.

My son and I went out 4-wheeler riding yesterday afternoon and had a blast, riding through fields, across firebreaks and through mud puddles. Fun!

Good morning, Christmas family!

It's Monday - yay! I got about two hours of sleep last night and have a big to-do list for today. I'm not going to stress over it, though, I am just going to tackle what I can and do the rest tomorrow. It is storming out - makes the fall colors look rather somber. We need the rain as the pond is getting very low.

I forgot to mention in my post yesterday that I saw an eagle fly overhead -about fifteen feet above me - breathtaking!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is going to start warming up here in central Indy again. It looks like we could see rain almost everyday though. We couldn't get any over the summer and this month we can't get rid of it. I'll admit that I ended up being pretty lazy over the weekend so I really need to hit it hard today. Good morning, everyone!

A beautiful "Fall" morning here in Ottawa. Temperatures were in the mid-to-upper 50s for my bike to the tennis club. Upon my leaving in the next hour and a half, they will probably be in the mid-70s. Only five more days until October and temperatures are feeling like late August/early September.

Not much is going on today. One more hour of tennis lessons with a grade six class, then I can search for jobs and rest at home until 7 PM practice. I may head out for a little walk to the bank and deposit a couple cheques, too. There seems to be rain in the long range forecast, so I might as well enjoy the comfortable fall weather while I can!

Hard to believe we're almost 90 percent done the year! So close to ushering in a brand new Christmas Season! In fact, I think a walk to the mall is in order tomorrow. Maybe I will be able to spot a few Christmas decorations - and I will bring my camera as I am sure that the Autumn scenery along the Rideau Canal is beautiful right now!

Well, only about 18 minutes until the next class/lesson arrives. Hope you all have a wonderful Monday morning. It's a new work week, but it does bring us one week closer to Christmas!
