I had oyster stew last night and it was wonderful!! It's been so long since the season went out, then suddenly it's back! We have oysters-in-the-shell by the bushel-bag for sale in the store, too. Yum, yum!

We're going out to my mom's for supper tonight. She's cooking my favorite german dish, rouladen. It's the BEST! She does the whole german meal with red cabbage and potato balls.

I can't think about work today for thinking about what I've been eating or what I'm about to eat!

Ohhh I also love oyster pie too, but the stew yummy!!!! Does your mom make the rouladen with spaetzle too? Does she leave the apple peal on or take it off? I peal my apples but have been told not to that it is better to leave it on, just wondering...

No spaetzle, but she does peel the apples. I can't wait for tonight!

Well, that stunk! :x

Mowing the lawn that is. It usually takes me 45-60 minutes to mow both front and backyards, today it took me over 90 minutes, it is may fault for letting it get that bad, I have never let it get that bad and I will NEVER let that happen again. Lets just hope it is the last time I have to mow for 2011. Just trying to cool of with the AC on, a glass of ice water, and some Christmas music. cheesy

Is it Friday, yet? It's been quite a week so far. Work has been stressful. Hopefully next week will be better!

Looking forward to a long weekend with my sister!

It's hot here...still...100 degrees this afternoon. Possible cool down this weekend if storms come. My fingers are crossed! I'm ready!

My pup, Harlowe, has been ill again for the past few days, and I'm concerned. I've put a call into her vet, her appointment is still a few weeks out. Waiting to hear back from her on how to proceed, where we go from here. Please say prayers and send good thoughts!

only two days to get up for work....and then.....a long weekend......sat, sun and monday off for the German National Holiday on October the 3rd....luv it
