sounds like my mom, always off somewhere!

What is a homecoming at church?
We always have one service in the fall that we call "Homecoming", and everyone makes extra effort to be there, especially those who have moved away, or married and attending another church. It's always a big event with a preacher from years ago, and a big meal afterwards.

Good evening,

We had a great day, we went to Hallmark and they had previous years ornaments on sale for either $1, $3, or $5 on ornaments that go back all the way to 1990. I bought a Yogi Bear ornament for $5, I love Yogi and it will look great on my tree. I am having a heck of a time finding a Halloween costume for LC, he wants to be Sonic the Hedgehog, but everywhere online is sold out for the season, we may have to talk him into being something else. Back to work in the A.M.

Have a great night!

A Methodist thing for sure!

72 hours until the Pines....can't wait!

Guess what I had for the first time today? Bulmer's hard cider. My SIL brought some from Ireland two weeks ago!

a thanks sea not sure think you might meet your match in her. but your welcome to try you can stay at mine and we can do christmas shopping in belfast and derry bring warm clothers its 15c over here when will i expect you lol i wish lol

Colts haven't played yet (and Kerry Collins needs to complete LOTS of td passes to Reggie Wayne so I can win my fantasy matchups, haha), but the Steelers lost...so we're still in the positive as far as that goes!

Well Painter is starting tomorrow because Collins is still suffering from a concussion. Plus Bracket and Bullit are out for the year with shoulder injuries. So I don't have a whole lot of hope for tomorrow night or for the rest of the year actually.

Oh! Forgot to mention an interesting sighting! A friend of mine informed me last night that spotted some Egg Nog in a grocery store. Egg nog, already!

Hi all!!! Sorry been MIA for a few days but have been busy busy busy.
We went to the Scotland County Highland Games yesterday and I got wore out major. Came home and fell asleep on the love seat, all 5 ft 8 1/2 inches of me curled up in some seriously contorted postions. Woke up with a nasty crick in my neck and my back screaming for tylenol.

Tomorrow (oct 3) is gunna be a sort of rough day for Joe, his mom is going in again for more cancer mass removal from her lungs. The docs are not sure if they are gunna have to remove part of a lobe or a whole lobe as if yet. Please send prayers and warm thoughts her way.

I am staving off this cold as well as I can but it is beating me. I have done the soups and the cold meds and NOTHING is touching it. I guess my immune system is still reeling from my surgery and subsequent hospital stays since last month. I can not afford to be sick but if it comes it will come.

For all those who are feeling icky or are having a hard time with anything, know my thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Have a good night and have a great day tomorrow. I have two doctor appts back to back and I may not get back in here for a few days.:busy:

PSSSST Wal-Mart here has already put out their eggnog AND holiday coffee creamers. I am sitting here right now having a cuppa with Peppermint Mocha in it. I also saw a local bakery shop selling their snowman eggnog cookies too. Those are yummy but until they get then in gluten and sugarfree I have to be content with walking in and smelling them.

Im a HUUGE weather nut..to the point I plan on moving in 2 years to a completly different climate. Maybe I will be sick of snow then..But I dream of living on a farm up north and sitting in the living room looking out to see it snow.ahhh

Weather nut here, too... and I love having all four seasons each year. Even though fall seems dead and dreary from late October to late November - there is no leaves and no snow - but the Season comes alive with lights and snow shortly after. It definitely makes it all worth while.

I can't believe the Lions are 4-0 either! I'm not saying I'm jumping on their bandwagon but if they go to the Super Bowl, I very well might root for them (as long as they're not playing the Colts or Steelers!)!! Their comebacks are becoming legendary!

Also glad to see a Tigers victory!! Would love for them to seal the series in D-town!

Fortunately, I am incapable of cheering for the Lions! So, I am hoping that these winning ways end soon. I guess that I'll have to wait and see how well the Packers do against them in November and December.

That is fantastic news! I am definitely jealous of your enjoyment. The a Peppermint Mocha sounds delicious. I wish I could walk to a War-Mart and investigate here, but they are a ways away. Maybe I can bus sometime this week!

Good evening, Christmas family !!

Ai-Chi-Hua-Hua !! Am I stressed tonight after work !! It was going okay until I got this goober who had an accent AND slurred his words AND didn't speak up ! I wound up leaving LOTS of blanks which the company does not like......so I am sitting here obssessing over it. Why can't they just learn to speak intelligibly...??!! Sure hope I don't get in trouble with this one ! As one old country saying goes.......I am as nervous as a cat in room full of rocking chairs !!

I am sitting in the living room with my Halloween decorations up, my Christmas garland lit and Christmas Wreath tart in the warmer and my furchildren Wish and Clancy sitting by me. There is a gentle fire in the fireplace. Smokey and Lily, the two felines are in the kitchen chowing down. All is quiet.....except inside my mind which is still wound very tight......Good Grief.......Heart is pounding like I just ran a race just from stress.....

I finally finished HP and The Deathly Hallows...I need a hero like Harry.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday evening/Monday morning. I likely will be awake several more hours as the unwinding part of the day has not even begun to start ......

Have a wonderful magical Halloween/Christmassy (aka Christween) evening, dear family xo (((HUGS)))
