I think I have decided to break out all my Christmas t-shirts on November 1 and wear them everyday from then until late January. I do wear them every once in a while now but I want to show them off for more time this year! cheesy

Here is pictures of them: http://mymerrychristmas.com/forum/album.php?albumid=521

Here is a blog I wrote about them: http://www.mymerrychristmas.com/forum/blog.php?b=357
Blogging about Christmas t-shirts demonstrates dedication to Christmas Spirit above and beyond the call of duty.

I salute you, sir!! cheesy

A merry Monday morning to everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends! I hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving day.

Good Morning! Hope everyone is doing well and having a great day (even though its Monday :( )

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian neighbors!

Can't believe the weekend went so fast, I got a very long week ahead of me, so much work to do :( Already wishing it was Friday.

Have a great day everyone! :tree:

Does anyone know if you can set something so that every time you post in a thread it'll bring you back to YOUR own last post so you can pick up reading from where you left off without searching?

I think if you hit the circle in front of the post you can just see the posts since you last logged out. I just do it from habit now & it's not right in front of me at the moment.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's raining! Boy, did we need it, too!

My son and I went out Saturday morning with the tractor and planted a rye & oats patch for deer season, which starts in a couple weeks. Then it started raining yesterday, so the seeds should be kicking into high gear now. Nice!

We had dinner (lunch) at Nancy's parents' house yesterday. Her dad cut us a large (7 lb!) beef roast in his meat market on Saturday, and we put it in the crockpot that evening. After about 15 hours in the crockpot with some onions & carrots, it was falling apart. I love that!

And my mom finally came home from the beach yesterday, so we ate supper with her. Now she's washing clothes and packing for a month in the mountains. All she does is go go go! At least she's having fun.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning, everyone.

I hope everyone has enjoyed their long weekend thus far! To say that I am still exhausted would be a slight understatement. Lots of running this weekend. We returned from Boston last night at about 9:30. It should have been much earlier, however, there were a few traffic jams in Montreal that slowed us down.

In regards to the tournament, we finished fifth in the Northeastern Region. We were a little disappointed, as we wanted to finish at least third or fourth, but it was an enjoyable weekend.

I can't believe there are only 34 days until the Christmas Season! In three more days, we'll be exactly one month until November 13th. It truly is the 2011 Homestretch!! The sun is still shining and temperatures are to reach into the mid-20s today. The rain is expected to move in tomorrow... Oh well. It has been a beautiful long weekend.

I hope that everyone in Canada has had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Since I was away, I have not yet had the opportunity to eat delicious Thanksgiving foods. Thankfully, Kim will be coming back from her hometown in a few hours with all the fixings! After running/sprinting about 25-30 kms (about 16-18 miles) this weekend, I am still famished! Also, I hope that everyone in the U.S. is enjoying their Columbus Day!

It's official Christmas has started. UK's auction shopping channels have got their decorations up and are selling music sets, decorations, gift sets and anything else you can think of and as it's my day off work I'm doing abit of cleaning whilst watching them

Happy Thanksgiving, Canada!

We're having a little Thanksgiving here of our own---our anniversary! The day we were married was very much like this: a Columbus Day Monday, with bright sunshine, blue skies, and changing leaves. I say it's like Thanksgiving because we're as happy as ever and still enjoy each other's company best of all.

I had a question. Does anyone know if you can set something so that every time you post in a thread it'll bring you back to YOUR own last post so you can pick up reading from where you left off without searching?

When you see the list of threads, you should see a little tiny diamond-shaped thingie to the left of the thread name. Click directly on that, and it'll take you to the first post made after you last logged out.

Make sure to check out my interview with Santa to see if I chose your question!!!!!

Very nice interview, Made!

And my mom finally came home from the beach yesterday, so we ate supper with her. Now she's washing clothes and packing for a month in the mountains. All she does is go go go! At least she's having fun.

Good for her!!! LOVE IT! :-D

Good morning my friends! Hope you all had a great weekend. It was so unseasonably beautiful this weekend. 80+ º's every day! We had to be at peak foliage this weekend. It was just gorgeous!!! Made it hard to come to work today, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do! ;-)

Make it a great day everybody!!

It's lunch time. The best time of the work day! Too bad I don't have some more coffee to sip.

Uh oh!! We have another coff-aholic!!! Hahahah. I just realized I never welcomed you here, tsk tsk bad britt!! So welcome to the boards edge:)

!!

Good evening, Christmas family!

It has been one long day today. Got some bad news from my brother yesterday and I have been trying to get my mind around that and then I had another one of those horrible headaches I've been getting of late. Headache is mostly gone now, but after I log inventory I am still going to take things easy for the rest of the day. I've been reading the Chet and Bernie mysteries - if you love dogs and mysteries, I highly recommend these books!

Sorry @ the bad news, Meceka. Hope all is ok.
Thinking of you & Hoping you are feeling better!

Thanks for the book tip- I love mysteries & animals. I'll have to check them out!

Good morning Christmas family

What a wonderful weekend it has been !!

Friday we headed out early to run errands, went to Hobby Lobby and I got a tree topper for my QVC tree. It is so pretty !! That is an AMAZING place !! We were going to get a new tree there but the smallest they have was 7.5 feet - the biggest we can fit is a 7 footer so we passed. I did find a small polar bear plush which I HAD to "adopt" !!! We then went to Donzell's Garden Center (which is where Christmas open house is the first weekend in November) and we found a tree !!

I wanted a flocked one this year and found one on sale !! It is so pretty I cant wait to decorate it !!

Saturday was the Christmas Ornament Premiere at Hallmark and my sister and I went. We got the final ornaments we both wanted and even got each other a couple of special ones then we continued our "sister" outing. It was such a blast !! The old magic of becoming complete nuts when we are together returned. We laughed and laughed and it was priceless and the weather was just gorgeous !!!

Meceka - thinking of you and praying things will be okay !! ((HUGS))

I've always wanted a flocked tree! It sounds beautiful, CM3!
Post pictures please! What a lovely tradition you & your sister have. It sounds like you had the perfect day. What ornaments did you get? What new ones did they premiere?! There's a few that I still have my eye on...

HollyJells - I hope you feel better. There is nothing like a cold that rebounds and comes back !! Glad your MIL is feeling better - Keeping you both in my prayers !!

Made - Of course still praying for your little niece and your family, my dear Christmas friend xo

This afternoon is the start of my work week. I have some time to make up this week since when I got on Thursday the company was having technical difficulties and I could not even start until 4 p.m. when I am supposed to start at 3. Just hope I can get that time made up.

Wish STILL continues to do well !! This is fabulous to hear!! xo

Snowflake - Still praying for baby Harlowe ((HUGS))
Thank you so much! HUGS being sent back to you & Wish (and all your sweet fur babies)!!

I hope all have a very pleasant and Christmassy Sunday !! And again for our Canadian Christmas Family - Happy Thanksgiving on Monday !!!!!

(((HUGS)))

Was reading a few of you have the flu/cold. horrible hope your well soon but guess its the time of year for it. think i wood rather have it now then round the christmas month
Raining here today ,AGAIN
Feel in a really christmas mood today dont really no why. might take a walk to out graden cantre and see if they have there christmas stuff out. i dont no why i do this as i get loads of my own ot i have a christmas film i have not seen in ages, earnest saves christmas. it on video. i cant find the dvd over there any where in region 2. and i did not have a video to watch it but a mate came on one and give it to me (nice mate)

Talking of christmas stuff i wood need to start and bring it in. in a way i hate to see it as one pallet might have as much as 300 items and all have to be opened .checked and priced . But at the same time its nice to see all the christmas items and i have 11 pallets of them !!
What you all gonna be doing today ? whatever it is hope you enjoy it

Do any of you guys have dogs that fall out???? my 2 boxers is not speaking, usually they are very close but yesterday they will not lay together and scooby is trying to fight with sasha. And sasha does not need it as she was from a dog home and was really badly treated. and hurt ( broken leg . she walks with the leg stuck out and its a bit shorter that the other one) and that they were gonna put her down. but i won then over and got her . think the only reason i got her was they knew me from working in the vets at that time. dont no whats going on with when. they are ok to a point . am sure they will come round

Any gonna go now and get a cuppa. and will talk to you all later
Make sure and have a lovely sunday and just think 11 weeks from today will be christmas day

Sorry to hear this, Shellie. Perhaps Scooby doesn't feel well & is irritable? Poor Sasha. Hope they are both doing well today, and are back to being buddies.

Thanks CM3!!!!!! She was starting to do better yesterday. The redness was gone from her face and her arms and it looked like the rash was clearing up. Now hopefully it just starts helping the pain in her joints.

Glad to hear your niece is doing better, made! I'll keep praying for her!

This sounds like you had a great time!!! Ditto to what you said about Monday's Thanksgiving! I am waiting for an invitation to visit SOMEONE who is celebrating on Monday!!! Any takers??? I am SO glad that Wish is doing better! I love all the pictures of Harlowe, Palmer (so, so, so cute) and all the other babies. When Lil' Dawg gets here, we will have to distinguish between furbabies and human babies!! CM3--I was spraying one of my T-shirts with a spray and wash product. My husband came up and said, "Hmm. Do you have goobers on your shirt?" I said, "No, that would be CM3." He gave me the funniest look!!! I wonder why?

Hahaha! That is great, love it!

I must be a REALLY bad girl......I never seem to make it to church like I should....!! xo

LOL !!! Seawaters you are just too cute !!! I don't have goobers on my shirt but in my HEAD !!!....Eweeew Right ??? xo !!

Hello my friends!
I really missed mmc this week, but I literally had hardly anytime to log on.. Trying to make money for Christmas!!
Wow, October 9th already!!! Thanksgiving dinner today, at my grandparents house... YUMMEH!!! Going down island first to visit with DB's mom & sister, seeing as we're missing their thanksgiving dinner (oopsies bit of miscommunication). Along the way we'll be stopping in at woodgrove mall, which has bath and body works, hopefully they have some delicious candles out!!!! Well wally world hasn't really advanced in setting out Christmas decorations etc yet. I found a couple magazines and coffee mugs, but that's it!! oh I can't wait till it's all out!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving, Britt! Enjoy the day with your loved ones!

Hope everyone has a blessed day!

So cool, xmas365!! They are so festive! I just wore my Christmas Vacation t-shirt yesterday!

Dinner delivered to Philip's family. His brother had me crying again as he told me how much he missed me on the bus and how much fun it was when I was there. [I used to drive their bus, James was my passenger for about 5 years.]
Philip will be so missed by his brother, he and James did everything together.
The funeral is on Wednesday morning.
Thanks to all who are praying for this family.

Prayers being sent to you all~ So sorry for your loss, Christmasstar.

Well, tomorrow is Monday...crap....

but 11 more Mondays until Christmas!!

What a great way to look at it, coach! You already made me feel better! I felt like MacCaulay Caulkin in Home Alone this morning- walking from the parking lot to my office, my bag gave out & everything fell to the ground- my lunch, paperwork, purse, etc. I had to laugh & think to myself "Yep, it's a Monday!"

Already I'm looking forward to our visit to the Pines already! How I wish it was Thanksgiving tomorrow!!

Friends who are celebrating....Happy Thanksgiving to you! Enjoy your time!

Hello There Kitty and Good Monday Christmas Family !! xo

This is great!! So cute!

Good Morning, Christmas friends!!

And a special Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Canadian friends!

It's catch up time here for me.
My husband came home over the weekend from a business trip, so we spent a lot of time together :)

The weather was beautiful all weekend, right around 70 degrees & sunny. It was great to open the house up & get some fresh air inside.

We listened to Holiday Switch & A Hollywood Christmas while picking up the house & then I baked some sugar cookies. Can't believe we're already down to 75 days!! Yay!

I went to Marshall's yesterday, and found a few cute Christmassy things to buy. I bought some sweet snowman plates & a Christmas tree spoon rest. I also found a cute sign that reads "We still believe" that has Santa's belt going across it, with sparkly stars in the sky. Oh, and I bought a dog sign that says God is Dog spelled backwards, with pawprints walking across it.

My Packers won yesterday, so I was happy! The first half of the game was questionable- the Falcons definitely dominated it. But we came back! The husband's Bears are on tonight. We'll have to see how they do..

Harlowe had kind of a rough Sunday- was shaking a bit & didn't want to do anything but rest. Felt so bad for her. But, by evening, she was doing better. She finally ate, went on a walk, and played with the neighbor dog. Maybe it's just the meds being new again. I'm going to keep her on the probiotics for a bit, they seem to really help her stomach.

I've been trying to figure out where to put my Christmas village this year. We usually use the kitchen table for a large portion of it (we just eat @ the breakfast bar since it's just the two of us mostly)but my parents will be here this year (so excited!). We also used some of the counter space in the kitchen, as well as upstairs in the hallway & in our bedroom. I'm thinking of moving around some furniture & buying some of those folding party tables so I can still put out a lot of it. I'm just running out of space, lol! If anybody has any ideas, please share them!

Hope everyone has a beautiful fall day!!

Went to my local spca yesterday to adopt a dog, hoping to find out today that we can bring our new buddy home! QUOTE]

Hope you get good news about the dog soon and get to bring him/her home!

You're smarter than me, my friend! I still occasionally slip-up and think that I'm right and she's wrong. What's wrong with me?!?

Oh Brad, trust me, you'll soon learn...you'll soon learn!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
And my mom finally came home from the beach yesterday, so we ate supper with her. Now she's washing clothes and packing for a month in the mountains. All she does is go go go! At least she's having fun.

I love that your mom is getting to enjoy her life so much! I hope this is what it is like for me when I am retired and older.

Glad to hear Harlowe was starting to feel a little bit better last evening. I would def. keep her on the probiotics for a little while. They say it really helps. My son is on those drops everyday as well. He is on them to help sooth his belly because of his colic and he also has acid reflux. I have seen a major difference in him.

As for your village, I love your idea of putting up tables and doing it that way. My MIL has huge village as well and does that - she gets the fake looking snow, puts that over the tables, and then puts the villages on. She has so much - it's amazing. You will have to post pics of all this. I would LOVE to see it.

Hi everyone! Hope this finds you all well! I was going to start to clean the house today, but DH said to wait until this weekend because he is off too and he said we'll do it together - so nice of him - goes by a heck of a lot quicker with two people! I think I will still wash some clothes today and then have dinner ready when he gets home from work. Anyway, I go back to work tonight at 11. There's not a whole lot going on - I think I will just try to relax for the rest of the day pretty much until dinner time. I don't get to do that too much anymore! I hope everyone is having a great day!
