Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good evening, everyone!

Another beautiful day here in Ottawa. Wow. Today was my first day at my new job! That's right, I actually got that job I had an interview for about three weeks ago! I didn't say much about it afterward as I always feel that I jinx myself. Anyway, I started today with Natural Resources Canada. It was fairly enjoyable. I'm just being brought in, so it was fairly simple. Still, I am excited to be finally making money!

Not a whole lot else is new. Kim and I are trying to think of something to eat for dinner. Last night was a no brainer - and a delicious one at that - Thanksgiving leftovers. Tonight, we are not too sure. She doesn't get back for another half an hour, so I'll wait to make a decision.

Hard to believe that there are no more milestone between now and the Christmas Season! I guess being exactly one month away is a mini-Milestone, but the countdown will be exciting between now and the Christmas Season! Soon enough, I should be able to visit during the workday. Right now, I just need to get accustomed to the environment.

I would say for me it's Halloween.. Generally on the west coast it's nov 1st... Not sure if it's the same for the east coast

In regards to Ontario, it is definitely Halloween. Much like the U.S., our stores begin bringing out their Christmas decor right about now... However, on November 1st, the stores are full force with their decorations. Promotions begin to kick in about a week or so afterwards, too. Malls seem to display their festive decorations right after Remembrance Day (Veterans' Day).

Ug ug ug...this saddens me so. It feels so wrong to be wearing my Peyton jersey without him at the helm, and it doesn't seem to be bringing any luck. I really hope he decides to take the rest of this year off and just come back fresh next year. Sigh.

On another football-related note - how about them LIONS? Wow...5-0!!

Haven't been around since Friday, mainly because I have been the busiest little bee!! I can't even remember everything, that's how much I did! I haven't been feeling the greatest the last few days, so please say a few good words for me that I don't get sick!!

Good weds morning! I have been swamped at work and home since I have been home in the last 2 weeks! Just wanted to peek in here and tell my peeps hello! I have been working like 12 hour days and have been going to birthing classes at night, Brandi is 6 months along now and looking very very pregnant! I can't believe how fast this season is going thus far. I will try to get caught up here later on today! Have a great day everyone!

well as I type this it's my 1,000 post!!!!!!!!! I MADE IT!!!! LOL

Been up all night with the youngest who has a bad sinus infection poor lil guy. Ihave found trying to keep a almost 3 year old propped up so he can breath better is NOT fun and I am working on my 2nd night of no sleep but oh welll they are only little for just a little while.....


and to the folks of MMC radio THANK YOU!!! it's been my saving grace for the past two nights!

other than that things are ok here! Hope everyone has a wonderful Wenesday!!!!:yahoo:
