@Gbulldawg.......I hope the dr will find a solution for Brandi.........laying down straight for 10 weeks aint no joke....my mother had to do that for 6 weeks before I was born and it must have been terribly hard.....so I hope it will all go fine without constantly having to lay down.....but if not.....get her as comfortable as possible and occupied as possible too....,but who am I telling this too? i am sure You will know ecactly what to do to make her feel good!!! praying for ya

Hey Christmas family! well we're back from the dr. now & daughters MRI was clear (thank you dear Lord) & her blood tests didn't raise any questions. it appears that the migraines are hereditary.doc has her on a preventive med
i would like to thank each of you for praying for her. i was a bit worried this morning but didn't want her to know.
oh i almost forgot, i let her drive to the appt this morning as she has her learners permit. hubby always rode w/ our sons while learning. now i remember why. i am so impatient!! she did pretty good actually. it was just me. so if you're ever in South Carolina....look out!!

I am so glad you received good news, I know migraines are not, but at least they can treat that. Keep us posted with any updates and I hope the treatment works positive. As for the driving that is a WAY COOL MOM thing!!! Good for you both, now let me ask... Who is now having the migraine??? J/K - Tee hee... Best of luck...

I just got back from a very enjoyable outing - ate lunch out and did a bit of store merch searching - found some good things, I hope! It was gorgeous out earlier this afternoon and now that I am home and about to start work, the wind has kicked in big time and it has cooled way down. Brrrrrr - definitely a fall day today!

Wish it would feel a little more like fall here, we almost had it on Sunday, they said it would be around 66 it shot up to 73... Oh well, could be worse right!!! All too soon I will be wishing for the 70 degree days!!!

I have had a busy weekend, my hair is now dark brown and I have a brand new car! I will try to get some pics posted later. I hope you all have a wonderful Monday evening

I talked to CAH on facebook yesterday and she said her and SIT are both fine. They have just been extremely busy. She hopes to be back on more next week sometime.
I'm not sure about Seawaters. I know they changed her curriculum and she was having to redo all of her lesson plans. So she may be busy trying to get that done before the season starts.

I have had it at my job, I am so frustrated with what is going on, I need to find something new. I won't go into it to deep here, but I am so done with the politics of the place. Day off tomorrow, well timed I guess, but I have 101 errands to do, including picking up some Christmas presents for my sweet boys. Watching DWTS it's 80's night, makes me remember how much I hated the 80's, especially the music, even though I grew up in that decade. I have always been an odd duck with my taste of music.

Hey man,I hope everything gets better or you find something new as far as your job is conscerned! This is my first season watching DWTS and I dvr it,and fast forward the commercials,I am following Nancy Grace,who I think will probably go home next. But don't get me started on who I think should have gone weeks ago!(add evil face emocon) I hated the 80's during it,maybe except for kindergarden years or 1st grade. Most of its' bad memories,but the older I get the more I am starting to appreciate the music of that decade,maybe not as much as the awesome awesome 90's!

Good morning, Christmas friends. I have LOTS of catching up to do and prizes to award!!! I have had so many appointments getting ready for my surgery on Thursday (Oct. 20), plus re-doing lesson plans, plus our anniversary (Oct. 17). And, my computer has slowed down to a crawl. It takes forever to go from one page to another. I will try to catch up ASAP. I just cannot skip any of the messages, so it may take me a while. In addition, I have had SEVERAL SSTs (Student Study Team meetings). I told our school nurse that I suspected one of my kidlets had a hearing problem, and sure enough, she found that to be true; so we have to meet again after she has seen a doctor. I love it when I am right!!! Gotta go. I have another SST in 20 minutes (yes, at 7:45 a.m.). I also had the nurse check her hearing, too. Have a great day, everyone, and I will get caught up soon.

Good early afternoon all! I am counting down the last 2 hours of the work day. And it just now has started to rain! Hopefully for the rest of the day,that is the forecast anyways. My phone will not STOP ringing!Grrr anyways I am taking brandi to the Dr after work today and he will address whether or not to put her on bedrest for the last 10 weeks of the pregnancy,and I just hope that if he does that she will not go crazy...she loves teaching and I think she would have a really hard time. Maybe he will just tell her to put her feet up during class or something..although she has been and she is still having problems. Oh well we will see...have a great afternoon everyone! and I hope everyone who needs this rain is getting some!

Also my new car is a 2012 Toyota Camry SE... I love it, its bright red or as I say "Christmas" red. Haha my Husband tells me I have problems. Now if only I could read through the 500 page manual on how to work just the hd radio/navigation/back up camera ahh Im a simple kind of girl, I like all the fancy stuff but I dont need it..that was my Hubby's idea. I got to pick the color :-D

It really cold this morning gives snow.
As its near halloween the fireworks have started.everytime one goes of my 2 boxers go mad to get out and bark
Last night a few young ones was letting of some and a mates dog was out and it jumped the wire and got it leg all ripped she come over to me all stressed and crying as she thought the leg was broke. it was.nt but it ended up needing 5 stitchs
When her parnter when out to them they could not care less and one of there mums came to sallys and rowed with her for going out to the young ones.
We have a neibourhood watch in this estate, there is only 6 of us.

but we keep a eye on things.we all have different things we do.Am left to deal with the police and the council if needed. and god forbid if someone is not up in the morning.am the poor soul that has to go to the door and see they are ok. my heart be,s in my mouth every time.(so i know this morning am gonna be getting it ,to get something done .a neibour has already been in asking what gonna be done with these young ones.)
Over here you need a licence to buy fireworks. they are getting them somewhere without a licence. and when you phone the police they dont bother. we dont have a maned police station any more in out town..

good morning Christmas family! i think my tuesday is gonna be a good one. boss called last night & said i have today off as we are slow @ work & everyone taking an extra day here & there. Lucky girl!!
hubby came in last evening & the trip he had scheduled to cincinatti(for work) has been cancelled for this week & the trip to st. louis next week has been postponed. yay! i do not like it when he has to travel away from home!
daughter got good report yesterday. yeap, i'm in a great mood today.
i have decided to make this a "me" day. not sure what that entails yet but i'm gonna do it. maybe go back to bed for a while after i take daughter to school, take a long hot bath, read a little, i don't know but i'm gonna do my darndest to enjoy. with the christmas season fast approaching there won't be many days left to do these things.
we have scheduled our open house @ work for the 1st weekend in December. i think that's a bit late but not for me to say. i want to post pics but it seems every day the decorating is pushed back & i don't want to have pics w/ work area in background of all the pics. it looks a bit messy. i tell all my clients that we florists are artists too & there's no such thing as a neat artist. lol!

My friend found the first radio station (OTHER THEN MMCR) that is playing 100% Christmas music now until Christmas. I was listening to a bit of it last night. Reminds me of MMCR. Not to worry. I still have MMCR bookmarked and love it! Nothing new really. Work is work lol. Going to take my costume (Ash from Evil Dead) out and de-wrinkle it. Wearing it at the end of the month for my Halloween party and wearing it to work on Halloween since we can. Always fun to do that. Makes me feel like a little kid again! Well better get back to work! Yes, Laurie, Red Rock Canyon is beautiful! We usually get a season pass there for hiking. Our favorites are Ice Box Canyon & Calico Tanks. Have you ever been up to Mt. Charleston? We love going there, too. And it's a must to go there over the holidays at some point to see snow!! Harlowe loves it. We rent a log cabin, play in the snow, eat at the lodge, and bring up Christmas movies to watch in the evenings.

I watched One Magic Christmas over the weekend. What a powerful movie! ... I hadn't seen it since I was younger, and probably never really understood it back then. So very sad, beautiful, haunting, and touching at the same time! I just love Mary Steenburgen.

Everytime I come on here I realize how very blessed I am to "know" each and everyone of you! Thanks for your friendships! Hope you all have a beautiful, Christmassy day!!

A haircut is always so refreshing. At least you have the ability to grow your hair like a Chia Pet. I'm not ready for my hair to fall out in the next few years!!!

I am so glad it is evening - rather tired. It was a long day, but I got a lot accomplished. The job I had a lead on will not be mine as I do not have the qualifications for it - it was very nice of my friends to think of me, though. I have a bit of housecleaning to do and then I am going to spend the rest of the evening reading. I really need to read more - went to another library and checked out a Stephen King book that is a little over a thousand pages long. All total, I have 14 books to read in the next month or so - at least I can renew them :grin:

Still cold over there. i no i do nothing only complain about the cold. but you guys snowflake said in a earler post she wood love snow. you really dont want it..you cant drive the car is going one direction and you want to the other way. costs a fortune in heating and you have to wrap up so much that you look 3 sizes bigger than you really are.. Our country cannot handle snow, think last year proved that.. if its gets as bad as last year . an for hibernating and will see all in march

Spead 2 hours on ebay tonight trying to find a halloween custome and when though about 7 one minute it was a police woman, then the chucky outfit . then i moved on to a baby outfit. a pirate..indian. lol am going to bed and at the moment its a school girl outfit covered in blood .. every outfit i liked was either 2 short or not enough of it.. i can do short to a happy medium and remember its cold over there lol ( here i go again complaining)
