I hope you recuperate quickly!

Mom was telling me that there was snow in the mountain tops this morning. Jealous!

Guess what!!!!!!!!

It's my two year anniversary on my merry Christmasyippee!!!!
Hopefully I can make it to, 2,000 posts today as well

Yipppeee !!!!!! Happy Anniversary !! xo

That is so exciting! There is nothing, absolutely NOTHING like NYC at Christmas!! Hoping DF and I can go there this year, but with our money situation, that might not be possible.

Happy 10K posts!!!

I agree with you and CM3, I was so angry when I read about this yesterday! I thought they may have tried a stun gun or something first before outright KILLING them! Like someone else here said (sorry, I can't remember who!) - it's not the animals fault that they got out...they were probably just scared and not knowing where to go. I think I might actually go and say something as well, dawg...that was just downright unfair.

((HUGS)) I hope you are feeling better soon !! Those dresses were AMAZING.........I bet you will be the MOST beautiful bride ever !! Yes.....I think the killing of those animals was very unfair.......I know they were wild and all.....but come on now...

Good Morning, friends!

It is gorgeous weather here, mid 60's right now, with a high around 80 degrees. Loving it!

Harlowe has her 2nd part of the liver function test (vet appointment) tomorrow morning. I hope all goes well, and their technicians don't screw up this time =) I just want her well and happy again. She was very excited to see my husband last night, who had been away on business.

We had a nice relaxing morning, watched Home Alone on Encore family & ate breakfast on the patio.

I must go to Kohl's over my lunch break & use up my Kohl's bucks before they expire! I've got my eyes on another village piece

Hope Thursday is good to you all!

Hope all goes well for your ((Harlowe)) oxxoo

I had cataract surgery last year.......Hope your vision gets back to normal soon !! xo

Good afternoon,Christmas family !!

It is cool, actually kind of cold today, and it is PERFECT.

Just biding my time until work. I want to clarify something. I did not mean to attack anyone's beliefs or anything with my statements about the animals. I still feel the way I stated but I hope I did not cause hard feelings. I am pretty radical about just a few things in my life, animal rights being one of them. If I offended anyone, please accept my apology ((HUGS)) xo

Anyway, I hope all are doing well. Tomorrow is Friday for most everyone here. Today is my Friday. Tomorrow morning I have getting a mammogram to look forward to. As our beloved Britt says "Yipppee"........Nothing like having part of your body crushed until you want to cry early in the morning......!!

Here is a cute image and of course ....I had to share it with my Christmas family.

OMG!!! Look how behind I am!!! Holy Christmas Bows how am I ever going to keep up... HA, HA, HA... I love it though. Remember about a month ago Made it the 20,000 post mark now look at where we are, I said we would reach 33,333 now I think I should re-think that!!! Christmas Bows & Ribbons, I need to read all the posts...

First... Christmas Angel... Well, I knew it was going to SMOOTH!!! One of the Mom's is going to pull her children from the play if she doesn't get to do the roll f the young girl for the entire production. Mind you it is a pretty big part, the whole idea we had was to have as many little ones in it as we can. The family contributes A LOT to the Church, I am not sure what the Pastor will do, it is too awful for words. She had the nerve to show up last night and say we RUINED Christmas for everyone by doing this Knock Off Of a Christmas Carol!!! I was SOOOOOO mad, well words not too polite came to my mind but I held my mouth shut. Our Pastor he is awesome, he said that he was sorry she felt that way, he did not want to see her children (he said their names) punished because of her lack of vision!!!! She got so mad at that she cut him off and said well, see if we contribute this year, and walked out. How ugly. We have a soup kitchen there and I know her family bought the new stove 2 years ago, they donate the Christmas Tree, and a lot of money I am sure, but that doesn't mean you get special treatment - you are suppose to give because it feels good, not because it gets you things or special treatment. I mean I will tell you all this, but when the soup kitchen needed a new floor I got the flooring guy to do it - the church members thought it was a gift from the flooring contractor but it wasn't my husband and I paid for it, the Pastor knew but we told him not to say anything. The contactor was nice no profit just the materials and labor (the guys are regular people too and need their paychecks) and the gift every year my husband and I buy a lot of them the Pastor gives us the list no one knows, I don't say well I want a pew to myself or my dog has to be in this years play (for those who do not know I do not have children). I mean come on, who does she think she is!!! UGHHHHH!!! Sorry everyone I needed to get that off my chest, my husband doesn't get it he just is like don't worry about her, but I am worried and I really do not know why...

Thanks...

Oh a good note.... We had a HUGE meeting here today; all went great on my floors!!! Can I here a WHOOOOP WHOOOOP, there it is BABY!!!! My boss said I can put up my Christmas Tree (we even have electric to turn the lights on) he said it was because of my organization we are doing so well, but it is him and my Site Super who are doing a lot too!!! But, it sure feels good to be noticed :)

Now let me go catch up...

There's one in every crowd, isn't there. I'm sorry that you and your Pastor have to deal with this sort of person. And I agree with you 100 percent; People shouldn't be donating with the view of having the final say in everything. Just because she is blessed enough to have the means to donate stoves and trees doesn't mean she's the only member of the congregation who is important. And I'm glad your Pastor stood up to her; I've seen so many that back down.

Good luck to you, dear. I hope your play turns out the best there ever was! :???:

We have small libraries, too. I have library cards to my hometown library and three of the surrounding communities' libraries - works out great because other than real popular authors such as Stephen King, if one library doesn't carry the series I am currently reading one of the other ones usually has it. I am currently trying to hunt up the very first Perry Mason book - no luck so far so I will probably have my hometown library order it in for me. It does stink to pay a fee, but if the library is much bigger and better, I would do it in a heartbeat. Hmmm . . . I am definitely a bookaholic!

Bookaholic!!! Maybe I will pay that fee, it can't be much right!!!

Just back from our last walk with the dogs and I was resplendent in hat, plaid scarf (but of course) and mittens because it's 1* above freezing and it was.........freezing!!!!!!!!

Heading to bed now with my book and hot chocolate; the dogs have already beaten me to it but at least the bit where my feet go will be warm!!!

Tomorrow - Day 3 of vacation - will be spent chasing up insurance companies and getting highlights in my hair. Should be interesting and not a little risky; one of the colours goes by the name of "Wild Fox"!!!!!!! The mind boggles!!!!

Party on, Christmas Peeps!!!!

happy-dance.gif

I love this dancing stick figure!!! Wow, we can't seem to get below 55 not typical for this time of year, today it is 74!!!

Good evening!

It is a cold, wet and dreary evening out. The wind has kicked in big time and I heard a few trees topple in the woods earlier.

I spent most of the day helping my cousin clear out part of her garage which is full of garage sale stuff from friends and family. The good news: a load clothes went to one of the local churches that hands out free clothing to people in the area; Planet Aid drop-boxes in two areas received a load each; a different church has a nursery and they were the recipients of a tote of handmade wooden blocks; the local mission store received several boxes of toys, books and glassware. The bad news: lots more cleaning to do in the garage before she can park in there.

I'm relaxing, enjoying Carl's foray into decorating. Is that pumpkin hot chocolate I smell? I must try some! See ya'll later!

Yummy Pumpkin Hot Chocolate!!! I think your wind is here, good thing too it blew the rain away!!! We are having our (and I will Quote my Favorite Weather Man Lee Glodberg) 4th Wettest year in record!!! It is good to see the sun even if it is windy!!!

UH I just Realized.. it's less that two weeks until I put my Christmas tree up!!!! SAY WHAT! Holy guacamole... WHO KNEW!

Woooooooo Hooooooooooo!!! Good for you!!! RATS, I wait until after the US Thanksgiving!!!!

Dear ladies and gentlebeans... I NEED YOUR HELP! what are the best smelling Slatkin & co christmas candles?! i must have some.. I can no longer resist.

I love you Britt!!! Gentelbeans - TOO MUCH LOL!!!!!!

Hello all! Long time, no post! I have been very busy the last week...also I have had the flu since the weekend and on doctors orders, I am off work the entire week. I guess I would be enjoying it if I could stop coughing, having headaches, and awful stomach pains. In fact, this is the best I've felt since Sunday and I still feel like h-e-double hockey sticks!! Ugh. I have missed you all though, very much so.

I like all 3 for different reasons and it's a really hard decision, especially since there are other dresses I've tried on that I really like, too. I don't know how people make these decisions!!

Sorry you are feeling under the weather Vsuclaribi - hope you get better real soon.

Now the good stuff!!!! OMG!!! Those dresses... OMG!!! Now I can understand why it is SO hard to choose!!! OMG!!! Oh, did I say that already?!?!?! They are beautiful!!! I am sure no matter what you choose you will look amazing, just because you sound so happy in your posts, I can only image what the sparkle is like in your eyes, it is such a wonderful time.

hey my friends. i hope u guys are doing great. I am and going to have some chicken wings now...holla

IF i lived in the usa i wood and if i can over here in northern ireland i will. if you can give me someone or somewhere to contract no better girl will do it
i have not seen any tv about it. but as i said earlier it was not the animals fault they got out and again WHY was a stun gun not used..Cant get my head round that one. but am sure they will come up with some answer.IF that was a orginal person they wood be looking at heavy fines and possible jail. watch to see what these animal killers get..Most likely OF
On a better note. good for you on ur 10.000th post

Once again, Carl has out-done himself!

Seawaters, I used the plane...thanks. Carl drove (flew)...

Great day of meeting....leave for the airport in 4 1/2 hours.....ready to go home and see the wifey....it's amazing how much I miss that pretty girl even though I've just been gone a couple of days...

That was so sweet of you to post about your wife!

Of course they KILLED ALL THOSE ANIMALS........GRR......I can't tell everyone how outraged I am......Leave it to humans to solve a problem.......Didn't even try to rescue any of them just killed them all.........Typical behavior for homo sapiens.......If I just stepped on anyone's toes.....I am sorry......But there was no excuse for just killing......

What a sorry excuse these officials are giving. Please I understand I did not live in the area, and I understand these are pedatory animals. BUT NO EXCUSE AT ALL. As an active member of the ASPCA I called my local office and they are already swinging into action to find out what went wrong and to see it NEVER happens again! I will follow this story, I feel horrible about this.

Hello all my friends

Just a quick note till morningas one of my daughters is still sick. and I just wanna get a few hours rest. on a happy note, another one of my Daughters is going to be in a christmas play here at our local theater titled "A Carol's Christmas" it's a modern day A Christmas carol we are very proud of her!!!

Hugs and prayers to all see y'all in the morning!

What happy news!!! congratulations to her!!!

Looks like I am the only one around early this morning! Insomnia is a terrible thing! I actually got a few hours of sleep but decided to get up and get caught up on some Christmas planning and paperwork from work. It is a cool 48F outside when I took snowball out to do his business. I can't say enough How much I love this time of year. I want time to stop! This week is flying by..I have a long day at work today, and friday night I am going with Brandi to the school she teaches at,they are having thier homecoming dance, and we are suppose to 'overseeing it' I guess I need to polish up on my macarena dance moves:) I hope everyone has a good thursday morning. I may can get a few more hours of sleep!

I know what you mean, I wish time could just slow up a little the days just fly by.

Sorry for not catching this sooner cm3! BUt I am outraged too and to tell you the truth this is a big part of why I can't sleep,I have already been in contact with the gov office of Ohio to voice my conscern about how this was dealt with...Words can't describe how angry I am about this. All I can do is ask anyone who cares about animals.please please read up on this story and let the officials in Ohio know that an investigation is in order on how this was carried out. The last straw for me was looking at the news and they were even showing pics of the slaughtered animals. I will get off my soapbox now. Oh and this was my 10,000th post I think...wish it was on a better topic!

Congrats on the 10K posts AWESOME... But you'll see my post above I feel the same way too!

ok, working on a device for everyone that will give you the extra rest you need when you need it....

500x_afternoon-projects.jpg

Now that has to be one of the cutest pix!!! Can I use this one?!?!?!

Good morning, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well and happy!!

My goodness, I am so unmotivated this morning! All I want to do is go back to bed, but I have to change out part of my wardrobe and find my winter coat. That means I have a lot of moving of boxes to do, so I had best get going as I still have to work today. Ugh - I need more hours in the day

I am going to listen to some new Christmas music I found at one of the thrift stores I frequent - that will surely motivate me!

Have a MERRY day!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, those days can come to ya!!! But cool score on the Music!!!!

I got an interview at a local trucking company for a chance to drive a straight truck. Most of it is just local with some overnight trips.
Next week Wednesday morning I go for an interview and a road test.

Congratulations!!! You will ace it I am SURE!!!! But, will this get in the way of making your cakes?!?! I thought you were a chef, sorry I am all confused?!?!?! Your cakes are works of art... I am sorry if I am confusing you with another but I really thought that...

Good morning everyone!

It’s Thursday! The work week is almost complete! I woke up this morning with “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas” in my head. What a start to the day. Unfortunately, it looks nothing like Christmas outside. It’s about 10C, raining and winds are a steady 50 km/h with gusts reaching 70+ km/h! That’s about 35-48 mph!

Thanks to Crown for adding a Halloween component to the countdown! It definitely makes those 24 days seem a lot closer. Still, 24 days is not very far away. Glad to see the Christmas Season begins on a Saturday this year, too! I could not think of a better day of the week to usher in our favourite time of the year!

Not much is happening with me. A little busy at work, but it should pickup next week when I begin doing my real job. Right now, I am just answering inquiries… and I am afraid that I have answered all of the ones I can for now!

Well, there just over an hour until lunch. My favourite time of the workday! Have a great Thursday, everyone!

Thanks for the heads up - I didn't know it was starting on a Saturday that is WAY cool news!!!

Hi all...

Today is not going well...since I'm not feeling well, all I want to do is lay down, & DF's dog Gunner will NOT SHUT UP. Now please don't get me wrong, I am an animal lover, but he is just working on my last nerve today. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong? I've let him out to do his business, fed him...I am just out of ideas. I think he might be lonely (we have to have a gate up between the bedrooms and the living area because he and my cat can't get along), but I can't let him back here with the cat and we have a very uncomfortable sofa that won't do well for me while I'm sick...but I am getting no sleep and rest and it's making me a bit cranky. Any advice? DF won't be home for another 3 hours...

Harlowe has her 2nd part of the liver function test (vet appointment) tomorrow morning. I hope all goes well, and their technicians don't screw up this time =) I just want her well and happy again. She was very excited to see my husband last night, who had been away on business.

I hope everything goes well tomorrow, snowflake!!!

Hope you're feeling well again, soon! Thinking of you!

Oh my, vsuclaribnl!! These are gorgeous!! I can see why it's such a tough decision!! It'll come to you =)

Thanks, I'm trying! It is a tough decision, but the bad part is that those 3 dresses aren't the only ones I'm choosing between...those are just the 3 I liked from Friday. Argh!!!

Had a cataract taken off my left eye Tuesday so I missed a couple of days of work. Still waiting for vision to return to normal.

I hope you get well soon!!!!

((HUGS)) I hope you are feeling better soon !! Those dresses were AMAZING.........I bet you will be the MOST beautiful bride ever !! Yes.....I think the killing of those animals was very unfair.......I know they were wild and all.....but come on now...

I hope so too, and thank you!! <3

Tomorrow morning I have getting a mammogram to look forward to. As our beloved Britt says "Yipppee"........Nothing like having part of your body crushed until you want to cry early in the morning......!!

Oh I'm so sorry CM3!! I have yet to have one but from how my mom describes them (and how you described it here), it does NOT sound fun!!!

Thanks, me too! And I'm totally LOLing over here about your reactions! Like I mentioned above though, those are not the only 3 dresses that are in the running...there are a lot more, around 20 actually...now do you see why I'm stressing? lol It's a lot of fun though...it's the best time and I totally love it!!

Great weather here. Currently 43 after a low of 38 at our house. A little snow on the mountain tops.

Have a great day everyone.

Hope you recovery swiftly!!!

Sorry Snowflake I meant to write something about Haelowe too, and did not... I hope all goes well this time no mistakes and we only here the best news from you.

Ugly indeed, to insist on preferential treatment for her daughter over all the other children, and to treat your pastor so spitefully! I'm sorry that such a beautiful little story is leading to such an ugly experience. It reminds me of "The Bishop's Wife," with the rich woman believing that her big contribution to building a new cathedral entitled her to dictate how it would be built and to have her name on everything. I hope this woman comes to realize how jealous and spiteful she is acting, and doesn't ruin it for the other participants.

I know you do not want to read this... but... he wants to be with you, near you, that is it... The best I can say is to not react to it, and he may settle down, I say may, no garantee

Thanks, me too! And I'm totally LOLing over here about your reactions! them chicken wings taste good....ghaddafi is dead...which is ok...I would have loved him to rot in a terrible jail for the rest of his life, kandice is happy and played with her friend Jann today and my idiot cat stripey is just cleaning herself and looking cute.....

talking bout cats....my mom was adopted by a black homeless cat in 2008....this noon, mom saw her coming up to her and saw something was wrong with her ear........at 5 I finally got hold of her...unfortunately the only way to do so was to holding her neck and I saw the ear was bleeding and it looked like she had a hole in her head......I had to catch her then again to get in the transport box so we take her to the vets.....she got two shots against infections and stuff like that....turns out she must have had a fight with another cat....and since she is old already...she usually looses....she is so beautiful and cute....I cant imagine not being greeted by her no more when she is gone one day
