hi everyone, hope you are all well & those who battled the snow are all OK & have their power. No snow where I live but some damage at the job. I miss checking in and I have a lot of catching up to do. HAPPY NOV. 1st everyone,!!

A house down the street has their Christmas lights up---white lights on the shrubbery and around the front windows. Mr. said they probably put it up to make it safe for the trick-or-treaters---but I pointed out that they weren't on last night. Nope, they're Christmas lights all right!

Beautiful. Lucky you! i'd love to look outside right now and see Christmas lights.

just finished mixing up a batch of gingerbread dough that now needs to rest in the fridge overnight, then in the morning I will start to bake the floors and walls of my gingerbread house for the competition at the end of November.
My house will be 3 stories high, and the theme is tropical Christmas.

That sounds so awesome and delicious! Please post pics when it is all completed!!!

I hope today passes by as quick as poosible,don't know if it's allergies or Im coming down with something but since sunday I have not felt up to par, No definate symptoms just feel lousy in general. If this is what middle age feels like Im doomed! I had my flu shot when I was in the Hospital in sept. so I think it is just the fall allergies I have really bad down here this time of year.

I hope you get to feeling 100% soon!!!

My mother just called and my cousin is in the hospital. She had been passing out for a couple of days, they ran test on her in the ER and couldn't find what was wrong so they admitted her. She passed out at the hospital last night while she was there. We are going to visit her today. I sure hope they find out what's wrong.

Thanks of thinking of me, V! Hope you enjoyed watching the games and the snow fall as well, but stayed safe! The PSU game was awesome, but so nerve racking and stressful! Made me almost sick to watch!

WAS IT EVER!!! Glad someone else was going through the same pain as DF and I! lol

I bought a baby gate to keep Palmer and Mouse separated. Palmer wants to be friends and play, but Mouse wants to be left alone. I was keeping Palmer in the bathroom (with polar fleece blankets and a cat bed to sleep in), but we have been using the heater and not the furnace and so the bathroom was getting cold when I shut the door. I put the gate up in the bathroom doorway and the heater faces it, so that should solve that problem.

I hope the gate helps! It did help DF and I out with Gunner and Sangria so hopefully it helps with Palmer and Mouse!

Good evening everyone! What a crazy few days! Yesterday evening, I had a lovely pedicure with a good friend, the massage chair felt amazing and I got a cute design on my toes. Even though when I got home, DF questioned why because I'd "not be wearing sandals for a few months"...oops! Hadn't really thought of that beforehand, lol. But it was stiill a good time out!

Today at Kohl's, we started playing Christmas music and put out all the store decorations! It was so great...I walked in at 6am and a Christmas tune I didn't recognize was playing and I just went nuts. One of my friends from clear across the store yelled, "CHRISTMAS MUSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!" to which I yelled back "YAYYYYYYYYY!" lol. We are a bit special. =p But all day I was in a good mood because every 4 songs, a Christmas song would play! I love that now all of my friends are starting to get into the spirit and it's not just me!

I worked at Hallmark tonight and we are almost completely prepared for Open House this weekend. How many of you are going to an Open House? I put some ornaments on hold...I'm getting "Close-Knit Sisters" for my two matrons of honor/BFF's, the Baby's First Christmas Winnie the Pooh ornament for DF's best friend & wife, the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation ornament (the car with the tree on the roof) for our good friends, and then Snap Happy Friends (penguin and polar bear taking a self picture) for DF and I. I'm excited!!

Good morning everyone!
It's NOVEMBER!!! Which means our radio station is now the Holiday Lite! (I was a bit TOO excited when I saw that on their website). It also means the stores will start having more Thanksgiving/Christmas decorations, and the Food Network should start showing their Thanksgiving episodes soon too.
I love November and December way too much! Haha

Also, Louie seems to be completely back to normal now!! I am so thankful for his recovery and for all of your thoughts/wishes/prayers sent our way. It means the world to me!

We just got back from visiting my cousin. The diagnosis was very quick. She has heart problems and her heart even stopped for a short time last night. Today they will be putting in a pacemaker.

I am glad they diagnosed it quickly. I am so use to doctors running tons of test for several weeks before they know what's going on and sometimes they still don't know what's wrong.

I find it sad, she is not even 50, close but not there yet and already having these problems. At least she can recover and move on!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming for the recovery process!

I know how scary this must be !!! Your cousin can live a very long and healthy life with a pacemaker - Still praying for her xo (((HUGS)))

Not as tired tonight as last night. Getting ready in about 4 minutes to see if Sounds of The Season on Music Choice has switched to Christmas....

I might be adopting another furchild. My sister called tonight and it seems there is a little Chihuahua who needs a home.....someone in her current home is allergic.......so....I am thinking about it. I know..some of you think I am crazy.....Maybe I am. I have just always felt that my "calling" is to care for the furry kids on this earth the best that I can and give them love and all the things they need...

hi hope your feeling a better this morning. i get days like that !! i think sometimes the weather has to do with it. they blame the weather over here anyway.
Maybe your ever doing it a bit. or your body is just tied . its trying to tell you to take a rest.. you have been away and then you were sick for a while and with the bad sleeping. your maybe run down a bit.

One of my workers is leaving on friday.( i have him on a work scheme from the unemployment people) and i can honestly say i am gonna miss him. he has been one of the best workers i have took on. i dont have to stand and look over his shoulder to see if the thing is being done right. i had asked to keep on on. but truth he gets more on the unemployment than i wood be giving him for the 40 hours. (even giving him the mim wage) as they pay his mortage. and he gets child tax credit and income support and all that for not working !
again the tea cup is emply so the kettle must go on lol

Hi every one! Today I am studying some more ! getting quite sick of it, but only 8 more days till the exam so i gotta work hard!
Also, on the day before the exam is my boyfriends birthday. Already got most of his gift (unfortunately he almost walked in on me wrapping it yesterday, as he surprised me by coming home too early hahaha) but i need to figure out how to make it a special day, without getting in the way of my exam-preparation.. anyone got tips?

So Monday, both my parents and me received a 'save the date' for my cousin's wedding. It'll be next May (Memorial Day weekend) and I've been looking foward to this....until last night. Dad and I had a bit of a talk. He then suggested that I go online and check out airline flights (from Tallahassee to Boston). Roundtrip is just over $400!! Dad then asked if going there to say "hi" for a few minutes would be worth it.

In other words, he basically shot down any chances of me attending my cousin's wedding. Lets just say I've not been a happy Kimmy during the night (woke up crying at one point :-( ).

Hmmm Party at the Pines and I still havent recovered from last week.... ohhh that mocha blueberry pineapple blend was a little too much.. hmm ok lampshade ready... roller blades ready....karokee machine.. fired up...with ABBA songs,, and I see a hump filling with a blend of walnuts, ice cream, and pine apple sauce.. this should be GOOD!

lol " MIGHT " i wood near say you will. your not crazy ( well maybe a little but in a nice way) i wood be doing the same. and am sure you have enough love in your heart for another one !!!! and is it not better for it to go to someone that will love and look after it ,than someone that might treat it with not so much love..
