i remember the one that was befour there is 3 different ones. think to suit each time tone. i mind on the 8pm london time. there was lots from the states and i was on the one as well that was 8pm pacific time( that was about 3am here) you can chat on them all or just whatever suits

Just hearing on the news that even the Air Force is going to hand out pink slips to 436 captains and majors due to pentagon budget cuts over the next 10 years. That might not sound like alot of lay offs but it just goes to show I suppose that no one is safe from getting layed off. I guess the moral of the story is be greatful for any job you can get these days. I just put a huge pork roast in the oven and will cook it on low until I get home at 3pm. We are having company coming over tonight. thursday nights are starting to become entertainment night for us... I am having to hitch a ride to work with my nieghbor friend who works the same shift with me. Hopefully insurance will pay for my damaged car.I need to see about getting a rental though. I hope you all have a good morning at work or whatever you are doing!

having a blast here. undrtakr & carl are playing some kind of snowball bowling & yelling so loud w/ each strike i can hardly hear anything else.

@Gabulldawg: Yes I will fly from Zurich to New York without a stoppover. But the flight back will be over Paris and I am not sure how to think about it yet. I read online that the paris airport is quite chaotic.
@Crown84: Thanks for the right answer! I knew it was on a Thursday but somehow thought it is earlier. We normally have Thanksgiving (called "Erntedankfest") on a Sunday in October.

Hmm...I think Paris has 2 airports...I have only been to charles De Gaulle,and believe me it's not that bad...wait until you get to JFK airport in New York.
oint:good morning Christmas family!! i'm running a bit late this a.m. but had to stop in to tell everyone to have a fab day. hoping to finish all the Christmas decor @ work today.
now if i could just get started @ home. daughter is having some friends over this weekend & she & i have been talking about that & what their plans are.
the boys will be helping their dad dig outside-bless their hearts!!
i guess i'll be in between the 2 areas, ya' know to supervise stuff. the girls will be fine it's just the boys i'm worried about!! lol!!

Glad you asked! The Pines or Shispering Pines is a mythical magical place we all go to on wednesdays. We get a pick me up of Christmas cheer from Carl the camel and other users. Something to brighten our day. PS Carl is a real hoot!

Just purchased our thanksgiving airline tickets to my in laws to Boston...I found a direct flight from jacksonville,fl to Bos..even if it's on a tiny plane at least I get to bypass Atlanta!**doing happy dance**@ Kimothy I know you are trying to get tickets to Boston..Jacksonville has one a day direct non-stop on delta! I live about 2 hours drive from JAX and parking is very cheap at only 4 bucks a day so that is the way to go if you live in this area I think.

Yep 3 weeks from today! It will go by fast I'm sure..time seems to fly fast from here on till the end of the year
