Good Morning Christmas Pals,

It's a cool crisp day here in NJ at 36 degrees and like CAH said, my Christmas spirit is in overdrive too!! Today Walmart is having a SUPER SATURDAY sale to kick off the Christmas Shopping season. Me and my daughter Kayla (5) are on our way out to go enjoy all of the holiday sales. We are stopping by our local mall. I have a feeling Santa may have arrived !!! Not sure. But I am going to enjoy a Christmas-y day with my baby girl. Nothing like Christmas thru the eyes of a child, and I think she is going to have my passion for Christmas and the holiday season. When Kayla was born, my oldest son was 23 and my youngest son was 14. Sometimes hubby and I can't believe we are starting all over again but she is a real blessing. Being the only female in the house for many years, I was so excited to be blessed with a little girl. This year I will try to make sure I post holiday pictures, so you all can meet Miss Kayla as she is fondly known.

Anyway, I wish everyone a day full of Christmas spirit and Christmas cheer!!!! Have a MERRY DAY!!!

Got some Christmas work to do this weekend that didn't get done last weekend due to the storm---try to finish up our clipfest DVD for this year, keep plugging on my next podcast segment, print labels for cards and packages, and all sorts of good stuff, and have to update the website for the film club. Then we'll head out to the Ninety Nine later for a steak. Maybe some movies and popcorn tonight.

Forgot to mention yesterday---there's a big online sale on History Channel "history of the holidays" DVDs this weekend. I ordered a boxed set of 7 Christmas documentaries on 4 DVDs for $9.99! I'm going to enjoy watching all those! It doesn't ship until Nov. 15th, though. I'll just have to wait.

(I have to misspell "cheezy". If you spell it right you get this emoticon "cheesy". Ha ha!)

I found that out too a while back, and it's tough for a proofreader to have to deliberately misspell a word to avoid the smiley popping instead!

I forget the exact term but Has anyone heard of the alleged condition some men have when their partner is pregnant I think it's called sympathy pains..I kinda believe in it..last year I watched all the Mrs miracles and thought the first one was good the second one was okay too,but last night I found myself getting chocked up in parts...meanwhile Brandi is crying at the end. And I don't even remember it being sad last year!

Yep, sympathy pains, or plain old empathy. And after the demanding week you've had, you may just have needed an emotional release. That's not a bad thing. Those Hallmark movies will sweep away the cobwebs for you this weekend!

Morning, Christmas family! Hope this finds all doing well! Been two days since I've posted, but we had a little family emergency and I wasn't around yesterday.

So, I usually put up Christmas light the weekend of Halloween b/c it typically isn't cold. Well, I didn't get to and now it's 45 degrees outside. Giong to wait a couple of hours longer and then put them up. It's going to get to around 60 so it should end up being nice. In the meantime, I'm going to get out some other decorations and get them ready.

Have a Christmassy day!

Just getting in from the supermarket and boy did I splurge! I did not get egg nogg but I got Doughnuts and bananna pudding Ice cream Blue bell has the best Ice cream flavors around here! But I have to go to the gym extra from now until jan 1st! I see Mrs Miracle is coming back on this afternoon...Farewell Mr cringle comes on at 4 but I have not seen that one actually so I am looking forward to that one. On another note I have decided to go back to England this summer for vacation since Brandi has never been outside london ,I wil stay with some friends I met when I lived there and I am looking forward to that now too...have a good afternoon all!

Back from the supermarket.

Good news: Christmas decorations are OUT! Also, they had stuffed animals of the Rudolph characters (Rudy, Clarice, Hermie, etc.) for $10 each. I was extremely tempted to buy one but changed my mind.

Not-so-good news: While they have regular egg nog (small selection right now) out they don't have SOY egg nog out yet. BOO!! :-(

The Store's here in Montreal are or have put up Holiday decorations!

Greetings everyone, it's been a while since my last entry, I've been very busy, but today I must slow down, feelin a little overwhelmed. The stores here start putting up the Holiday decorations hours after Halloween is over. Sure lookn Christmasy! I'm still hunting for my Pine aromatic candles. Got my Christmas Ornament Exchange persons name a week or so ago. Hope to hear from the person soon. I've already found a beauty at our all year round Christmas Store located in Old Montreal! The store is called Noel Eternal! And it's been here for years. I think it first opened in Mid 90's.
Man....it's getting so close, and I'm still planning my lists for baking. Want to do a Panettone for the holidays, and a Stolen. TIME......TIME......TIME.....I'm feelin the stress already.......eeeeekkkkkk! Later........(just a small meltdown.):whisper:

nice!
I was doing the same thing and caught the tail end of some movie about firefighters ( John Travolta was in it)
they were in a church singing Christmas carols and giving out awards for saving a little girl. Cannot tell you what movie it was, so if any one knows...

I am tired.
Have had the oven going since 10am this morning. The house smells great! Have been baking gingerbread house pieces, and there are a lot of them, plus a meatloaf. (had to have lunch)
This is going to be a 3 story house, so lots to do. Once I get this done I can start with the decorating.

Farewell Mr. Kringle is a wonderful one!! One of my new favorites !!! I don't know if they will show it this year but there was a new on Hallmark last year called The Santa Suit......It was really good, it stars Kevin Sorbo.....xo

CM3- or anyone else who may know...wasn't the santa suit the movie that the song "i'll be home for Christmas" kept being the reoccuring theme? parts were hilarious but parts were downright tearjerkers!
