As we coast on into Christmas Season 2011, let me express my continuing gratitude for the loyalty and support of our fine members.

Of all the board forums I have ever visited, I have never seen one with the level friendliness and comraderie to the extent I have experienced here.
I can only assume it is because of the subject matter. Christmas just naturally draws out the best in people and draws in the best people.
This site in general and this thread in particular has proven that time and time again, year after year. (And each year more than the one before it!)

You hear more and more talk these days about how society is deteriorating and getting less and less civil.
Well, to those disheartened folks I point to this site where just the opposite is happening!
If you think about it, you'll realize just how lucky we all are to have found this little cyber home and to be a part of it.

Enjoy the next 50 days to the hilt, my friends.
You -- each and every one of you -- deserve it!

I mix my lights too! I do solid multis, solid whites, chaser multi, chaser whites, ceramic C7's, LED C7's, and bubble lights. I guess I go a bit crazy with lights. cheesy

I want to see that! I don't think a photo would do it justice can you take a video of your tree? I would love to see all the lights in motion!

And with this post, CAH is poster #24,500. For her efforts, she wins an extension cord for any new lights she adds to her tree!!

How did you know I needed more??? I actually bought an extra one yesterday but I think I need more! Thanks!

Well I spotted 3 houses with lights on and one house with a tree in the window on my way home from my sisters house. It's definitely starting to look like the holidays.

we went to search the thrift stores in London for some Christmas stuff and actually found one with no Christmas stuff out yet! I ask them why with just over a month to go, and was told it was to early!!!!!! I could not believe what I was hearing. So we went to another store. They do not plan to put anything out until the 1st of December.

No such thing as TOO EARLY for Christmas!!!!!!! Protest! =)

I don't get that either. You go to make your house beautiful for Christmas and it turns into a disaster in the process. I have boxes all over just to finish decorating!

Same here. If I didn't have to work today I would have been on late last night. I am such a wimp and need my sleep! =)

I can't imagine what it would be like if we shut down....I would be lost...

You guys were BUSY BUSY last night. Sorry I missed out on all the fun. I don't think all the coffee in the world would have kept me up! I have a busy day today and really needed my sleep. Every Sunday for me is full and I am running all day long. Most people are relaxing on this day but for me it's the busiest time of week. It's a good day for me though!

I read a lot of your post but don't have time to read them all. Hopefully later I can catch up!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! Wow what a night we had last night. Talk about fun. Now I have to calm down and get some stuff done around my apartment. My plan for today is to clean up the mess I've made the last couple of days and then I am going to kick back and watch what will most likely be a terrible football game. The Colts versus Jacksonville. Well I'm off to clean. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
