I think I'm starting to get burned out on the hallmark christmas movies. Maybe I should switch to lifetime.
LOL! My wife won't let me change the channel from Hallmark!

On a sadder note. My sister's neighbor is bringing her son home from the hospital with hospice care. They just had a meeting with the doctors and they said he most likely wouldn't make it longer than a couple of days. His heart has stopped twice now and he can't breathe without oxygen. He told his parents that he saw heaven the last time his heart stopped and it was beautiful. So hopefully that will help comfort them a little.
Bless his heart. I hope he and his family can find some solice in that. :-(

That's why I have a radio and an internet connection. I ain't kiddin'.

Am I the only one that shuns TV in favor of music? I mean, I have my few favorite TV programs. None of them are must sees as I often, especially this time of year, prefer to concentrate on music (not necessarily new) discovery. I am much more excited to find stuff like this rather than anything in the TV schedule! I hardly have time for TV for being a music geek.

(By the way, music at the above hyperlink is very worth the price!)

I too often favor music to TV, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy TV and I have favorites, and yes I record a lot of Lifetime & Hallmark, I will probably watching the Lifetime & Hallmark movies through March, but any chance I have I will always pick music over TV.

CAH,
I just wanted to let you know that I am finally feeling like my strength is coming back. It honestly had me worried for a while. You might want to check the IVNT.

Thanks for the music!

Well, the Mrs. just informed me she was unable to finish the Christmas shopping this week so she is sending me to walmart tomorrow morning. I will make sure my cell phone is fully charged in case I need to call 911 to come rescue me.

Well the doctor in Portland agrees with my niece's doctor in Seattle and thinks they should go back to the steroid injections. the doctor in Seattle only wants to do them in the knees though and she thinks they need to do them in every joint that is affected. The doctor in Portland actually knows my niece's current doctor so she is going to call him and tell him her opinion. My sister already has the injections scheduled for Monday so she said they would probably stick with that for now.

Oh and you guys:
How do you like our christmas tree in our new home:

Thanks for sharing! Love your tree! I think it's beautiful!

Good morning on the first of the single digit days!

Can you believe it? I can't! We're done to single digits. Hope it can slow down soon, but I doubt it for me. I work until Tuesday and then I only have a day or so off until Christmas Eve. Boo!

I don't babysit or work today. What will I do today??? Well, I have presents to wrap. I guess I can get that done! That won't take all day though! What else shall I do? =)

I am sure you could think of something...you could visit us all on here at MMC!

Friday ... a "mental health day" for me. Time to kick back and de-stress, maybe with some gourmet chocolate milk (there's a brand here in New England that's made with Belgian chocolate and cane sugar) and Christmas movies, which I haven't had time to indulge in. The evenings next week will be short because of my office workload, and this weekend may be busy, so I want to do some holiday relaxing today

Hope you're day is going well so far. I've been thinking about you today, MC. Watch lots of Christmas movies for me.

Good morning everyone. The weather has been too warm here but is supposed to cool off over the weekend. This time last year we had snow. We are having a Christmas get together tonight, at our home, with the parents and teenagers of our son's Church youth group. Should be a good time.

Today is my last day at work until Jan 3. Since we only have dial-up internet in our part of the county, I may not be able to visit much during our Christmas break. I hope everyone has a wonderful, Christ-filled Christmas. Thanks to all of you for your friendship. It's been a great year here at MMC.

Enjoy your time with your family. Thanks for your friendship as well. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year if I don't get to talk to you - to you and your family!

I just noticed that I hit over 30,000 posts and am now a Magi!!! Now I really need a camel!

Congrats...very much deserved!

Isnt it great to see December 25 on the weathers 10 day forecast...

It's truly awesome. It's supposed to be rain/snow showers here with a high of 36. I can maybe that it will be a little colder and we will get some actual snow! What is it supposed to be like in your neck of the woods?

Does anyone want to come do my dishes for me?

I will come help if your promise to feed me!

Thanks for the update, Made. This brought tears to my eyes as well. This has to be very hard for the family, especially with the holidays coming up. Hope that with the boy knowing he will be with the Lord, this will help his parents have some comfort. God Bless them. Prayers.

This is wonderful news, Seawaters!

Hi Christmas family! Hope you're all having a good day. Everything is well here so far. I am just watching Hallmark and trying to stay warm, even though it's not super cold out today.

My parents are coming over for dinner because DH is working nights, so he's already left for work and I work tonight too, so my mom will then watch the kids for me once I leave.

Nothing new to report here. All my gifts are bought and wrapped - well techincally, I guess I still have a few more gift cards to buy, but that is simple.

Well, I hope you all have great evening. I will check back in later!
