Sneaking in toward the end of the workday ... I really need a breather. I've been super-cranking today to try to get ahead so I'm not slammed on Friday.

Kind of a discouraging day. I brought my gift bags for the two co-workers I work with most, as I do annually. One recipient didn't even mention receiving it (yes, I know she got it, I put it on her chair); she went home early and left the bag on her desk. (After raving to everyone about a another gift she received from someone else.) The other recipient didn't mention receiving her bag until I thanked the her for the gift bag she gave me. I guess this sounds like a petty complaint---like I'm keeping score. Yes, I'm in busy mode, but it wouldn't kill my schedule if someone walked up to say "Thanks for thinking of me"---or, if they didn't want to interrupt, send an e-mail. On top of some other petty things that are nibbling at me, it put me in an unhappy mood today. I'm going to try to get home a little earlier today and get a little more rest.

(Apologies to all for the recent string of gloomy posts. I'll try to improve that.)

Hubby and I pretty much finished our Christmas shopping today in Vacaville, CA, a factory outlet with approximately 120 stores. I am exhausted!!! We bought some Crocs, stuff at Harry and David's, a few things at Jelly Bellys (including their famous "Belly Flops"), gifts for Hubby's mom at Lane Bryant, stuff for us at two kitchen stores, and a few other items. I have one scrapbooking item to finish, and we have one gift card for a nephew to get and then we will be finished!!! That plus "wrapping"/rapping (it sounds right, right RJD?).

friends. hows it going with you all today good i hope
Just 3 days left. i cant beleive it.
I done no how am feeling. one part if me is excited and happy and then when i think that in 3 days it is almost over i feel like am going to cry and feel terrible. guess i dont want it to come or to end. but if it cant go it cant come back
Am really gonna try and get all sorted for the shop today by 2 o clock as i relly have to get away to get some tings as am so behind so today its some food shopping and a pet shop for some thing for the parrots.
Weather is good here mild but it was windy last night had to put my outdoor decor of at 10 so that a job this morning as there is a few things down.
Hope you all have a good day .may it be worl.baking or shopping and with the help of god will catch you all later

I want to say a huge THANK YOU for all the prayers,Calls and well wishes for my family and for my Daughter Kayla. She is doing better and resting at home they let her come home yesterday afternoon and she is on 5 different types of Meds. 3 of them are antibiotics, one is her normal shots she gets and the other is a cough syrup that makes her loopy but takes away the cough. all in all she and all of us are happy she is home!!! and thanks to RadioJonD for letting all our friends know. Mr. Jon, your just one of a kind. hugs all and I'll see y'all in the morning!
