It was certainly a memorable Christmas. It is not about gifts, but I received more than I had anticipated this morning. I am truly loved and spoiled. Although I will enjoy the gifts throughout the year, nothing will replicate the special feeling around the Tree. I love it. It is what many of us wait for the entire year. Christmas morning has come and gone for me, but I will continue to enjoy the entire Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Mouse is home and recovering and my brother is doing better, couldn't ask for anything more

I want to appreciate each and everyone of you, you can't imagine how much it means to me to be a part of this group, especially when times get a little rough in the real world, to be able to turn here for encouragement, and help is such a great thing. I have been here for nearly 2 years now, and I cannot stand to miss a day not coming here at least once. I am going to spend this day with my family, but you are all in my thoughts as we celebrate this glorious day.

Merry Christmas to you all!

I love and appreciate each one of you dear Christmas family xo
Thank you for making a place for me in your hearts xo

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I just had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my kids and sons-in-law and grandchild. My gift was seeing their faces having such a wonderful time.

Wonderful words from your heart, Xmas! I am sure you and your family will have a great day.

Merry Christmas my Christmas friends!!!!!

What a beautiful December 25 here. Santa left some great gifts for the boys, you should have seen LC's face when he opened his gift from Santa, it was absolutely priceless, he received a standing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that talks and nose glows, he was so shy when he saw it. JP got a Nintendo DS game from Santa, he was also very thrilled, both boys received exactly what they wanted most from Santa. My wife and boys treated me very well also, I got my Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Champs hat, a DVD, a new Wii game, a Christmas ornament that the boys made a recording for me on, and a new book. Of course the big gift for all was a new Wii for all of us.

A Christmas-card Christmas!!!

What a lovely day so far!

The sun was out earlier and most of the snow is gone now, so I was able to have a white Christmas in the am and now a green Christmas in the pm - perfect! Palmer is playing with her jingle ball, Mouse is sleeping by the heat register, the outdoor fur kids are enjoying their bones and macaroni and cheese and Bo has a new blanket to sleep on. My family is quite content. What a perfect day this has been!!! :D

I am going to put on my Doris Day Christmas CD and start making dinner.

Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, my friends!!!

We went to breakfast with the fam and then to Mass. I was not very Catholic-like. I was almost giddy thinking that we would hit 30,000 posts while I was at church. I probably should be saying the Rosary right now to atone for my sins!!!

Merry Christmas to all! We had a beautiful Christmas Eve celebration with niece, daughter and fiance. And a very sweet family Mass in the afternoon. This morning was quiet--just the two of us--but peaceful. We saved a few presents to open this morning--I got something I've been wanting for a while! And DH liked his big present (a voucher for a two night getaway for the two of us in Monterey, with coupons for tastings at three of the local wineries), so that's a load off my mind. He's not big on getting things, but he loves doing things.

We're going out for a late brunch then over to his brother's house for Christmas dinner. Have a blessed Christmas day, everyone!

In case anyone wants to listen, one of my Christmas shows for the "Greasy Skillet" on 1600 AM WAAM in Ann Arbor, Michigan is on at time of this post.

With an online listen link - http://www.waamradio.com/

My friends on FB have been asking what your show is - I've been spreading the word and so has Mo :D

Btw, I really liked Buck Owens's song you played on this morning's show - Blue Lights, I believe it was called cheesy
Thank you! You're a Skillet Angel! Bon-Bon too!

Well, this is my first post from my new iMac. This thing is beautiful!

Meceka, you referred to my wife as Mrs. Ballcoach....funny story....my next to last year of coaching...we were in a huge game...state qualifier...there was this ump behind the plate...he didn't cheat...a lot of people say that way to quickly...he just was inconsistent...anyways...we had a history...he never kicked me out of a game...that never happened...but we just didn't see eye to eye....I knew it and he knew it.....off the field...we knew each other well...which probably created some of the problem....now to the story...

tie game...next to last inning...we had runner's in scoring position...close play...of course it went against us...it was the third out...I was walking back to the dugout....

when out of the corner of my ear, I hear this woman who sounds vaguely familiar....didn't pay it any attention...until I hear her referred to as Mrs. Baseball Coach by the umpire....I look in the bleachers and the umpire and my feisty bride are going at each other....

Needless to say, I was hot under the collar...first, because she is the coach's wife and I told her time and time again that she must be the example for all fans how to act...second, because I didn't believe in getting after officials because you never see them change a judgment call...third...because he is arguing with a fan...so I come out of the dugout and tell her about it and everyone heard....even the official....

and as the conversation came to a close...Ms. Ballcoach said....with a very hurt voice..."but it was a terrible call"....and I, in a very sly way, said loudly as I was walking back to the dugout..."Your right, babe. It was the worst call ever!" The fans erupted. Funny. Had to be there....just haven't heard her referred to as Ms. Ballcoach in a long time....

Ah, the memories of the good days...I sure do miss coaching....

That's because it's not up yet!

I wish to extend my thanks to one and all for the overwhelming support of our thread this year and to wish everyone a

No Christmas blues, now.
Cheer up!
Still a week left to Christmas Season 2011 and lots of time remaining to move forward from 30,000 which was reached this very morning!

THANKS, AGAIN GUYS!!
