Yes! I'm sad to see Christmas 2011 go, as I'm always sad to see Christmas present pass. But the lovely thing about Christmas is that there'll always be a next one! (With less than an hour to go, though, it's difficult to keep a stiff upper lip; it wants to quiver a little.)

I hate to say good night, but it's getting to be that time. I love spending Christmas with you all. Every day.

"And so, as Tiny Tim observed: 'God bless us, every one.'"

Made, I just have to say that you are SO SPECIAL. Totally LOVE you!!!!

Well I've got to head to bed so I can get up at 4am to head to kohl's. I haven't been to impressed with the christmas decorations out this year but I still have to hit up the sales tomorrow. I think I'm going to look for a couple of new outdoor decorations and of course a Santa or two. I'll see you all sometime tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a Goodnight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last hour of Christmas and the saddest hour of the year. Had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends but I really hate to see it over. Guess we can start the anticipation for Christmas 2012.

Hear, hear!!!

Tonight's film show is over ("We're No Angels"), Mr. is making some Christmas phone calls to friends of his on the West Coast, and the melancholy part of Christmas is arriving---less than an hour and a quarter of the Day left this year, then midnight will arrive and pass, and the rest of the world will shake off its Christmas like a daydream, and leave the likes of us to carry the spirit through into 2012. Thank heaven for MMC and the people here to keep the Christmas candles lit after midnight!

Happily, tomorrow is a holiday here, so we can have a little extra Christmas before returning to the "real world." But that's later ... it's not over yet!

I am becoming so depressed as each minute goes by and Christmas is almost over. The winter blues are about to hit! Living in Pennsylvania, the winter is less than pleasurable. I really don't look forward to the New Year like most do, instead it bums me out. The past few months, I have had such a blast Christmas shopping and running errands involving the holiday season. This year has probably been my most involved for Christmas yet. All of my trips to the stores and to the mall were for presents for my family members, and now I feel like I have nothing to go shopping for!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with those close to you :) I am very happy that I can start looking forward to Christmas 2012 with you all!

Was that, crap, sheesh, either Humphrey Bogart or Joltin" Joe.

Girlfriend, we are here for you!!! In a few words: SHOP ALL YEAR!!!

Jennifer, I feel the very same way, in fact I have started my downward spiral that I go into every year because Christmas is over. I know some folks are optimists and say Christmas will come again. However at my age and with the ages of my sister and my brother-in-law there is lots of anxiety as to whether Christmas will be back for us again........I know it does no good to worry about that which we cannot control but I do anyway.....:-? xo

I feel empty with Christmas de facto over.

Me too Sanity Clause !! xo

Ah, the Christmas Blues....they hit you, don't they?

But not me....someone...a wise old gender neutral...once said that Christmas is either here or on the way.....look at it like that.

As for me, I get through the year by looking at it in stages. In a couple of months, my martins will be coming in. I've got houses to get ready, poles to get in the ground....really is a lot of fun. Then, we get to Spring Break. After that, school is out and Christmas in July arrives! Don't despair...this thread will help take away some of those blues. Just keep coming and sticking your head in and we will pull you through!

Eight minutes until Christmas Day 2011 is over.

WE DID IT!!! Another successful Christmas is done and in the books. I wasn't as organized as I wanted to be this year, but an emergency surgery tends to play games with organization. At least I've got something to work on for next year. I didn't really plan as thoroughly as I wanted to either....but hey...I will keep chasing perfection...knowing that it won't be attained, but with all the work, it sure helps pay off. I've already got $400 dollars put back for next Christmas and will continue saving.

Over the course of the year, many things will change. But this one thing remains, we have Christmas year round together and one tight knit little community of folks (who were pretty darn chatty this year). Thank you for that!

Probably won't be around except for in the morning. Plan on relaxing with the wife tomorrow before we both return to work. She has off tomorrow and I have Monday and Tuesday. So, tomorrow is her day! But I will be here for coffee!

It's 11:59 Central time...let me be the last to tell you......

Merry Christmas!

Good morning christmas family
Really hope you all had a great day yesterday
I had a really nice day
Today is boxing day so we do the thing all over agan but no santa
Think the only think that was disappointing was my outdoor decor
I usually put it on in the morning. but yesterday was windy so that stopped that. and in the evening the windy settled down and we put then on, and they blow the trip on the electric. so had to keep then of.
Last nght was nice quiet and wood of had it no other way
Mixed feeling last night happy but at the same time sad
Have to admit that there was tears in my eyes. sad it was over and sad when i think of next year that maybe the people round me and my pets might not be there.
So today is boxing day so we get another big dinner. i have no one today for dinner just the 4 of us. it is also a big horse racing day so that what am gonna do . partner is making the dinner and am going to do some bets on the horses and have a chill out today

Good morning, MMC! Merry Day After Christmas! Hope you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas!

I ended up getting on call last night from work. What this means is, the hospital wasn't busy enough for all the nurses scheduled, so if they needed me, the supervisor would then call me in. She never did, so Merry Christmas to me! Now I can see the kids play with all their new toys today.

Right now, DH and EA are still on bed so I plan on getting caught up on the countdown.

Hope you all have a great day!

And yes...I know I've missed posts clear back from the night of Lovefest 2011. I will be reading back to Friday night folks!

Good Morning, Friends!

Crown here enjoying my 1-week countdown respite.

It's been a great Season so far.
(Day #44 with more to come!)
Dinner out with the family.
Bowl games.
Christmas decorations still everywhere for some time to come.

Isn't this a great time of the year?
.....And remember, the countdown to Christmas Season 2012 has been silently running for over 6 weeks now!

And speaking of that -- I've got the 2012 Season launch thread all prepared for release on Jan 1.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!
