I'm off to take a nap all. DS has been so fussy the past 2 days and I am beginning to think he has an ear infection. He has all the symptoms of one. I feel so bad for him because he just can't flat out tell me he is in pain. I think DH is going to take him to the doctors in the am.

Totally okay SW! you are entitled to vent. My prayers are with you! I shared this with my mom as well and she is praying too. My aunt went through this several years ago. The battle is yours to be won! ((hugs))

Well, great day here! Work, football, fun....great day! Gonna be another tomorrow. We don't have school, but I've got some work I'm going to do in the morning.

Hey everybody! Where is January going? We are 1/2 way through?! WOW!!! The weather has been so warm (up until this weekend) that we havne't even had a chance to feel cooped up...and I'm not complaining! I love some snow, but these mild temps were very easy to get use too. Makes it nice for our morning walk too!

Seawaters - sorry to hear you are going through a rough time. I will keep you in my prayers.

I would LOVE to go back & read all the posts I've missed but it looks like that would take me a very long time!!! (which is awesome!) I took down my Christmas tree & decorations last week. The room seems so bare & it seems like such a long time ago that it was all up! I miss it!

We booked a cruise with friends in March. I'm looking forward to that for sure! I think the planning, shopping, countdown is 1/2 the fun!

I'm going to try to stop in more often. I miss everone!

Don't worry about venting and it's good that you broke down. You have to let your emotions out or they are just going to cause more problems.

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

As I type this, I'm laying in my daughter's bed. She took my spot in my bed with Nancy. My son and his cousin are asleep on an air matress in the living room. The only ones in the right beds are Nancy and the dog!

Mom is doing great after her knee surgery on Friday. I went over to her house yesterday and cooked oyster stew for her. We're the only ones in our family that like it, so everyone else had taco soup. It's pretty good to me, too, but not as good as oyster stew!

I'm going to get the coffee maker going. I'll be right back.

I wish I could have stayed up for London Calling but I got to get in bed early on Saturday because Sunday is one of my biggest days of the week! =)


I am that way with all my furchildren. They can do no wrong and are just so darn cute that I tend to baby talk them if they get in any trouble (oops, did I say trouble?! Not them! :wink My dogs and cats are all well behaved but they have their moments that something might get broke or the trash tipped over. No biggie to me, I just clean it up I know they didn't mean to. Hee hee! As you say, "if they weren't so darn cute, sweet and cuddly!"

Seawaters, I haven't really been on here for a prolonged period of time since Wednesday. I just read the news.

My Aunt just won the same battle. Positive attitude, taking care of yourself, and the love and prayers of others is what will pull you through.

I will be thinking of you and praying for you, nonstop.

I finally tested out my Christmas Caroler Cuckoo clock this morning, my wife was skeptical of it when I bought it, but I played it and she fell in love with it when she heard it, the music is so pretty, think We Wish You A Merry Christmas at the end of A Christmas Story. I am happy I bought it now. Just taking it easy before our little get together this afternoon.

hey ya'll! well our surprise birthday party for my daddy was great!! everyone made it, & some i didn't know were coming, which made it even better!! my daddy was speechless & my daddy is never speechless! great time & just getting back in. sis & all her family have left to go back home too.
watching the giants/packers game now out of one eye & posting ya'll w/ the other. i'm super human like that!hahahaha!
tomorrow we're all off & i've let them all know that we are going to clean house. fun, fun, fun!

yeah i haven't said alot about ours (furbabies) but they are so much a part of our lives. Daisy is my toy poodle-she's blonde & all mine! Maggie is our choc.lab she's the sweetest,gentlest, & just adorable one, hubby claims her but she's mine too. Daughter has a rescue ,Mickey, part bassett part daschund (funny looking) but loves her to pieces & is very sad if she's not here, my son (19yr.old) has a rescue, Diva, believed to be part lab part pitt & maybe part dalmation. They all stay inside & we also have a white cat, holly, not a very nice cat but we love her.

Thank you for posting about your furkids !! Now that I know their names, I will try and send (((Hugs))) with their names xo !!

Good evening, Christmas family


I just finished working about an hour ago....the last 24 hours has been moocho-crazy. I went into a tail spin of depression about something and sort of had a meltdown. Thank you to all who are on Facebook who offered their words of support and help and ((Hugs))....Because of you, I am better now !!!

Work today was the usual goober-laden Sunday. Tomorrow starts a sort of new schedule - I work 8.5 hours every night, off on Friday and then 6 hours Saturday, off on Sunday. I think it is going to be tough to get 8.5 hours in during the week but I will give it a shot.


CAH - Your video was just amazing !!! were all the children your grandbabies ?? They are adorable !! And you are so pretty ! xo
