I thought it was one of the best performances we've seen in a while. That's not saying much though and she was clearly not singing.

Woo hoo Giants! Tom Brady's face made my night after nobody caught that last pass! I mean I feel bad, obviously losing the big game is gonna sting for a while - but sheesh, at least try not to be such a sore loser! I felt the burn last year after my Steelers lost.

I hated the half time show. Yikes. I don't understand who chooses these people! Madonna wasn't even singing, she kept stumbling, and she looked like she was seriously struggling up there. Then they threw her with other young performers/bands/singers and it just looked totally wrong. My favorite Super Bowl half time show was when they had Aerosmith, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Nelly, and Mary J. Blige.

I liked quite a few of them !! Of course my FAVORITE one was the Coca Cola polar bears !! I liked the Jerry Seinfeld one too !!

Yay I won't be getting a gloating phone call from my friend tomorrow.! I am glad the Giants won...and glad to be looking forward to baseball season now!!!! I could not sleep so I got up to read and let snowball outside I did not get up fast enough and he had an accident on the kitchen floor...at least he always goes to the hard wood floor instead of the carpet when he has "accidents" okay will try to go to sleep again! goodnight everyone!

good morning My MC family. well i didn't make it through the entire game, only till about 9 p.m. i just can't hang that late. hubby gave me all the highlights this morning. i hate i missed it. sounds like it was a "game" right till the end, no blowout. that's the kind i like. i'm sure my son is bummed though.he'll be up in a little bit so i'll be sure not to rub it in.
lauriebear & RJD's wife- happy belated birthday. i truly hope they were great.
i did see some really good commercials. i loved the one w/ the M&Ms. the little guy dancing naked. hilarious.
i liked the little dog running in Skechers too. the one where he ran in a dog race. he was adorable.
I thought Madonna's 1/2 time show was alright. i did see her stumble a couple times. i think those high heel boots she was wearing had something to do w/ it. i'm not a big Madonna fan but i've definitely seen alot worse 1/2 time shows. on a scale from 1-10, i give it a 5 or 6.
the b-day card we gave our son read, "how many son's does it take to screw in a lightbulb? only 1 but you have to ask him 50 times." loved it. that would apply to any of my kids. lol!!

Good morning all. Congrats to the Giants and all their fans!!!!

I saw an article that someone flipped the bird during the Halftime show, it wasn't Madonna. NBC tried to stop it by blurring the screen for a second but they were too late. I didn't see the finger but I remember the picture getting messed up for a second. I did see Madonna almost fall at one time though, and I agree with some of you that said she was lip syncing.

Well I have jury duty today :x, I have to get ready for that. Hope everyone has a great day!
 
Good morning, MMC! I hope you all have a good Monday back at work/school and that it flies by for you.

I am leaving in about an hour to take my mom to the doctor appointment with the surgeon. She will find out if she has cancer or not today and she will also get her stitches removed. Although the biopsy at the hospital showed the thyroid was benign, they sent it away for better testing - so we will get those results today.

After the appointment I'm going to come home, print a few things, and head to class. Going to be a bit of a hectic day, but maybe that'll make my Monday fly by quickly.
