My mom still isn't feeling right - the fogginess just won't go away and she is exhausted all of the time. The surgeon said her blood work is fine and that there is nothing to worry about. Even with that being said, she wants to see if something can be done because she can't stand feeling that way. It's been over a week since her surgery now. She called our family doctor this morning and they are supposed to call her back, so hopefully there is something they will be able to do for her.

I hope there is something they can do for your mom and she starts to get some answers soon. It just doesn't sound right to me that she hasn't felt good for this long. Hope she starts to feel better soon!

Good evening, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well!

I'm getting ready to listen to The Greasy Skillet - lots of interesting songs on the playlist for this week!

Have a MERRY evening!!!

I hope EA is feeling better today!

Thanks, CAH! She sounds a lot better today and her appetite is pretty much back to normal, so I think she is feeling better. The thing I just always get worried about when she gets so sick is giving it to my 7 month-old son. He really didn't catch it too bad this time. Thank goodness!

I don't usually sign on over the weekend, but I wanted to give an update on DH. Surgery went well, home the same day. He's feeling much better today, eating solid foods. Almost back to normal! It's cold today & tomorrow. Lows in '10s & '20s, highs in '30s. We had forecast for a dusting to 1/2 inch of snow, but just saw a few flurries. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

It's overcast here in southeast GA this morning, and a little cool for a change. I met with the insurance adjuster about Nancy's car damage yesterday. He says that if I take the car to the shop on Monday morning, they'll have it fixed by the end of the week. Nice! And just in time for my trip to the mountains!

Nancy's trying to get me to agree to buying a weight loss program called P90X. Ever heard of it? I never had, but lately everyone around here is talking about it. It's supposed to make you lose weight and tone your body in 90 days. It looks like an awful lot of hard workouts to me. And they say the diet is super strict. Can you imagine me with abs of steel? At this point, I'd be happy with abs of a sturdy cushion!

That's great news about the car!

I have heard of the P90x before. My sister actually bought it and has never done it! Ha! She gave it to me to borrow and I never ending up doing it either because I do other exercises already. I do hear though that it does really make it you lose weight, but you do have to keep up with it. If you do get it, good luck with it!

Well my youngest niece has decided to stay the night and she is demanding strawberry ice cream.

Hope you had lots of fun with your niece last night!

Ohhh! I forgot about the group! I need to stop by sometime. I guess since it doesn't show up in "New Post" I forget about it. Need to get busy posting there again. Thanks for the reminder! Can we talk about pets without fur? Like the kinds with shells? We have a really cool tortoise. cheesy

Every kind of animal child is welcome in the group !! I would love to hear more about your tortoise !! xo

Good evening,

We are up here in the Ski resort area in West Dover, Vermont. It has not started out to well, my wife is sick, seems to be the same thing I had and JP had, or possibly food poisoning. I feel so bad for her, she has been looking forward to this for months, but we are trapped in our room when we had so many plans. I just hope she feels better for the wedding tomorrow. They are expecting snow here tomorrow, there is not enough on the ground for sleigh rides right now. We did stop at Yankee Candle Flagship Store on the way up here, bought a bunch of candles, and looked at all the Christmas stuff. I thought of you Made when I saw a Santa Claus dressed in a racing suit, holding a helmet. That place is awesome. We may stop at a new place called Kringle candle on our way home Sunday.
Also in front of the main building the have a large pine tree all lit up with white LED lights, I will be taking pictures tomorrow.

Have a great night!

Glad you had a safe trip to Vermont! Sorry to hear that your wife isn't feeling well though. Hope she feels better soon and hope she was feeling better today for the wedding. Hope you guys are able to have a great time!

There is one house with all their outside lights on and one house that still has the Christmas tree up. In Chico today, we saw one house that had four outside trees lit up.

I hadn't seen any house lit up for weeks and then last night, coming home from dinner, I saw three houses on the same road! I couldn't believe it! People are really still in the spirit! :wiggy:

Hope you had lots of fun with your niece last night!

She was pretty good and then my other niece had to come home with me when I took her home. So now I have a 7 year old bouncing off the walls.

Alrightly everyone, I am going to sign off for the night! I am going to go get ready for work here soon. Just got the kids to bed.

I hope you're all having a great night! Talk to you all tomorrow! I will finish reading the rest of todays posts tomorrow!

Sounds like a lot of fun! Have a great time! You truly are one special uncle!

CAH joins the cast of comedians here at MMC!!!

We went to a hole-in-the-wall cafe in Minneapolis that turned out to be what I think is the best in the world. The food was fantastic; they made their own ketchup that was the best I have EVER tasted, bar none; and they roasted their own coffee beans that was the best coffee I have ever tasted, too!!! We were there for a week, and we went there every day!!!

Ha ha! Would that be your "typing voice"? =)

That is hilarious! I have felt that way before walking into diners in small towns.

Pick me up!!!
