Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good afternoon!!

Thank God for Pinesday!!

Not much new here, just wanted to pop back in & say hello! :wink:

Life just seems extra busy right now. Not necessarily a bad thing, just keeping me on my toes.

I have been busy planning a Redneck themed party @ work, so that's been exhausting yet fun at the same time. We are going to have lots of food, drinks, music, costume contests, truck pulls, cornhole, mud pits, you name it! Should be a blast!

Reading dawg & jennifer's posts about Survivor & Big Brother made me think about some of my favorite shows this season. Does anybody watch Ringer or Unforgettable? I'm loving them right now! I dvr'd last night's new episodes, and can't wait to see them, they're both getting so good.

Is your warranty still good? That should take care of the transmission issue. That sounds like you got quite a lemon there. I am sorry you have had so many issues with it.

Yeah Thank goodness warranty will pay for it,but just for 12 more months or 10,000 miles. A car should not mess up like this though so I think I do have a lemon....There are lemon laws out there I need to read up on them and see if they apply to me!!!

Well I must be doing something right! I came home from work and I usually cook dinner but Brandi had it on the stove getting it ready...Roast with potatoes and green onions with rice!!!! little does she know about friday night(going out to eat and she gets jewelry) maybe just maybe this will give me enough points to where I will never ever be in the dog house!!! I may pop back in here later but if I don't it just means I ate too much and need to get in the hottub to get some relief.lol Goodnight folks and to everyone who goes to the pines have fun!!!

DH will working, so I will be home by myself with the kids. Saturday night is church, so I will probably take them there and then go out to my parents for the evening.

Got some news today.
Or 3 year old son have Celiac disease.
I wish he hadn't but okey... It could be worse..

Have to take some more bloodtest at the hospital tomorrow.
Are not looking forward to it..
Taking blood from a three year old is not fun!

fortunately there is good treatment for that and sounds like they caught it early with him. We always wish our kids did not have anything wrong with them. Blood tests with kids are not fun.
Praying you will find the best treatment for him.

That's a shame! I'm sure you've put a lot of money into this car. Do you think you will be looking for a new one soon?

Actually I do/...they are redesigning the camry,Altima,and accord for the 2013 model year...I would look at the camry..but I saw a new buick regal on the road today and it looked SHARP!!!I love looking and buying cars...I just can't believe how bad my car is...Like I said my first honda accord was a 93 model and lasted,thenlasted and lasted...and stilal looked good too after 15 year and 398,000 miles on it..

We just had a text message from my sister's step-daughter's Mom; she is having rods put in her arm as I type. She broke both the radius and ulna in the left arm, and the orthopedist's opinion was that rods were unavoidable. She'll have them in for a certain amount of time, then she'll have to have surgery again to remove them. Boo. Looks like it's time for Aunt MerryBells to spoil her step-niece again.

Okay question:
Has a new season of Survivor on? if so is it still on CBS and what time does it come on,and who is watching this? How far are they into the season,(how many ppl have been banished)? I always try to watch Survivor but I thought it only came on in Sept, I watch Big Brother and even get the Live Feeds on the net,so when it ends in Sept I am burned out and I never can wwatch the whole season of survivor...I don't have specific shows I watch except Big brother in the summer...I want to try to watch Survivor though if I can start at the beginning of a season I think Iwould get hooked on it!

saw where jennifer filled you in on the new season. i love this show & watch it all the time.

Hello!**** Anyone who does not want to read a rant please skip this post!!!****


OMG I have a 2010 Honda Accord with only 25k miles on it..I have had nothing but problems with it since I got it brand new...sunroof got stuck open..cd player tore up...GPS navigator no longer works....now the transmiossion is going out..yes the transmission that cost 2000 to fix...I am soo disappointed in honda who I thought was agood car...I had a 93 accord I got in high school and put 398k miles on it!!! I am so mad right now...I am going to start buying american from now on..honda has gone down in quality IMO!!!! and for what I paid for this car...it's insane!!!

oh man that bites! hope you can get rid of it asap. i don't think many cars are made as good as they once were.thought to self...i just said something i've heard my rents say back in the day. i'm getting old.

the redneck party sounds like a blast.i hope ya'll really enjoy it. speaking of shows i love "last man standing" i enjoy tim allen in anything..most anything. "the middle" & "modern family" too, "big bang theory" or as i like to call it "Sheldon"(he's a character on the show) i think he makes the whole show.now that survivor is back on i'm not sure how i will watch the middle & modern family as their on @ the same time.

Long day today - all the weather forecasts are saying we are in for a mess tomorrow morning, so I ran around all day taking care of errands. Had fun, though, as I was hanging out with my cousin - we had a nice lunch and went to a thrift store, too, where I found a lot of Christmas cross-stitch books. I was browsing the yarn selection at another store and was disappointed to see that the amount of ounces in the skeins are down, but the prices are up. Oh, well, I will just have to be choosier in my projects from now on!

I'm doing well health-wise but my SO just had our first fight--around V-Day no less!! It basically boiled down to A LOT of miscommunication. Oops! Oh well. Live and learn I guess.
