One week from today.
The 300-day Christmas Day Window opens and we will be into double 200's territory!
Regardless, Fox the dog celebrated his 10th birthday yesterday by enjoying not one but two rawhide treats.
Hey, Carl! I need a new custom-taylored superlative here.
(He says to come to the Shispering Pines today and he will supply one.
And that's where you should be, too!)
thank you for explaining!hi am not that sure my self.lol but in the catholic church they consider ash wednesday and good friday 2 fast days some people will keep every friday a fast day.though it is called a fast day it means that you cut away down on things you wood eat even for the one day!! a lot of people who wood eat meat .burgers you no the kinda thing that you wood eat on a average day well you limit it to the min
Supposed to eat fish think that has something to do with our lord. they dont say YOU Have to do it but a lot do.
Anyone old or sick is not included if they dont want to.
Being honest its up to the person themselves. a lot is how you were brought up i guess and what you beleive.
A lot dont bother. but in the shops there is fish on sale in every one today.
Hope this explaines it a little
Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high in the low 50's. I have some work to do this morning and then I need to run to the grocery store this afternoon. Carl called me and asked me to pick up some Horseradish on my down tonight. I don't know what it's for but it has me worried. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
A long as you dont dive in ! your be find , it will take a while to get back into things. your be find . is your foot back to nornal now ??
I think it is as close to normal as it can be, the doctor said I will probably have a little pain all the time with the Plantar fasciaiitis, and heel spurs, but it is not swollen anymore, and the extreme pain I had where the ligament tore away from the heel is gone.
I appreciate that, I actually like the idea of getting a new car, I just wasn't ready to do it now. I was hoping to get a few more years out of this car. I have decided to wait until near the end of the year, it isn't urgent that I get one now, and car dealers usually have the best deals at the end of the year. I can't say I favor one make of car over another anymore, it's kind of funny that when I was younger I was a Ford man, but I never owned a Ford. I have had a Dodge truck, and 3 Pontiacs (a Grand Am and 2 Grand Prixs). I am looking at the Ford Fusion, but I am open to anything in a midsize sedan. At least I think that is considered midsize these days.
Made, tell your sister I will be right over as her "DDW" (for those who don't know, Designated Dish Washer). I hope she gets to feeling better! Wait, my back hurts too. I think you need to be our "DDW"! =)
Hello all! As of yesterday I finally started getting some energy back from the cold I have suffered for awhile BUT then yesterday I moved a real small table and it got hung on something and I pulled a muscle in my back! Oh yay! I was really having a tough time sleeping last night. I have had issues with my back for over 20 years. No biggie, I will be just fine! I am still trying to plan on going to the gym. Let's see how that goes. cheesy

Since I have been sick I haven't been on here as much. February has been a busy month for me too. I hope to make it for The Pines tonight!
Have a great day everyone!
Funny, isn't it how that stuff can go, we have had a few of the Ford's but the SUV's and the F150's. We are thinking when this is up we may go for the F250, they can also convert the cars/trucks today to a CNG vehicle, which is awesome for gas but finding CNG stations well that's a whole problem in itself. I am not crazy about the electric vehicles, maybe when their technology gets better but right now, nah. I guess the one thing I try not to give up on is my car. Saving gas is great and all, but the truck we need for my hubby at work.
That is a great time to look too, right around Sept they start to roll out the new models so they hold some great sales that time. Wooo Hooo for you!!!!
Tee Hee DDW!!!! LOVE IT!
It does seem that fasting or giving up something for Lent is closely associated with food. To my understanding, the item can also be something like giving up an activity. Again, the focus should be on your use of the time gained from the fast. Can you imagine the time a golfer would have by staying away from the links?!ok, I am confused, not being Catholic hoping you can explain. If this is a day of fasting, why are you making dinner?
