Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a chilly one here in central Indy with a high near 40 today. Wasn't it just 70 degrees yesterday? It appears that the storms brought more than hail with them. I don't have much on the agenda for today. Most of my day will be spent cleaning and cooking. I'll try to squeeze some racing in there too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

A bad day with the foot today, very painful while at work, just still getting use to being on my foot everyday for 8 hour shifts. Walking with a limp really takes a lot of energy out of you. One more day until a day off, I can't wait. I hope everyone in the stormy areas stays safe.

Good morning, MMC friends! How is everyone today? Good I hope!

Sorry I never checked back in last night, but I fell fast asleep on the couch and DH woke me up after he watched the news and we headed to bed.

Everything is going great here this morning. Both of the kids slept until almost 8 this morning. It was soooo nice! We've been playing so far and now EA is watching Disney Jr. and DS is eating a bottle. He's at the stage where he likes to hold himself in bouncer, then fall sleep. He's growing up too fast!

I am later this morning going to throw something in the crockpot for dinner - probably a soup and going to make the banana nut bread that I said I was going to make yesterday.

Well, I am going to get caught up on the posts for the past few hours. I will check back in a little later. Hope everyone enjoys their day and this weekend. If anyone is ill or having bad weather, please feel better and stay safe!

this storm system is so big and seems to be hanging around for a long time. News said it was a record number of tornado warnings for one day yesterday in the states. We war getting the tail end of some of that and I see the major part of it has moved south east.
I have a couple of nieces living in Asheville NC.
Be careful, praying for you all.

Good late morning, Christmas friends. I had two doctors' appointments this morning and just returned. I had to go in to see my regular doctor so she could prescribe antibiotics for this cold/infection that came on suddenly early Wednesday morning and kept getting worse yesterday morning. My oncologist wanted me to get checked out since I have surgery on Wednesday. My doctor and oncologist agree that the antibiotics can't hurt. My doorbell just rang. Back in a few. Well, well, well. I won some drawings from the Volunteer Fire Department breakfast: a long-sleeved T-shirt, a hat, a hair dryer, some local honey, a box of John Deere toys, and a bag of individually packaged nuts and chocolates. What a pleasant surprise!!! I hope y'all have a great day!

I hope you feel better soon and that the antibiotics work quickly. I pray for a safe surgery for you, Seawaters.

What a nice surprise, indeed! I am sure that put a giant smile on your face!

this severe weather that is going through some areas in the States is now headed into my area, we are expecting thunderstorms and high winds tonight

The meteorologists called for rain this afternoon, but we got nothing more than a few sprinkles. Now all of the sudden we have warnings for severe thunderstorms and a wind warning. I am looking at a weather map and I see all of the severe weather, including tornadoes, are southwest of us. The way the storms are are moving is northeast so it means they are coming towards me. Hopefully they shift a little bit and we don't get much.

I am hoping for no tornadoes or severe weather but it's really starting to thunder out there and there is a lot of lightning.

Stay safe anyone else who is experiencing bad weather!

Hoping you didn't get too much severe weather last night! We got some thunderstorms last night, but nothing too severe. It only last probably about 1/2 hour or so, just enough to scare Ella. She hates thunderstorms. Lots of rain with it!

we are expecting winds of 60 to 90km / hr all day. Right now there is some snow coming down. Hearing of trees down in some areas, but nothing like what the folks in the states are dealing with.

I am sorry to hear your foot is still bothering you. I hope you can soon find some relief. Hopefully with your days off this weekend, you will be able to relax some and you will find a little relief.
