Yet another New Week Good Morning, Friends of Everything Christmas!

These weeks are passing so fast!
<< How fast are they passing, Crown? >>
They are passing faster than Binger can gulp a decanter of coffee.
<< That's fast, Crown! >>

And what else is passing by at breakneck speed?
Why this, of course:
Days to the Season: 253
Days to Christmas Day: 295
And we are now under 1.5 weeks off from the 1/3 Season Milestone.
(Closing in on # 3!)

Chilly here this morning where we have returned to 40 degrees for our overnight low.
Sunny though, and it should all in all be a good week.

Therefore......
You be sure and have a Marvelous March Monday, OK?

And I found this Jim Shore Advent Calendar: Wow!

that would be so much fun to make in real gingerbread!

& something called "snowdrop", my aunt gave me. it looks very similar to lily of the valley but grows like daffodils, very pretty.QUOTE]

We all snowdrops over here they grow all over the place. if you go walking from now on you wood see them growing wild. godluck with your plants a lot of ones say its the 1st sign of spring to see the snowdrops come out

we have them growing all over the place here too. They are one of the first flowers to come up in the spring, often when there is still snow on the ground. One home in town has their entire front yard covered with both flowers in the spring. (will take a picture this year for you)

!
i planted a few things this weekend; an azalea, hydrangea, rose, & something called "snowdrop", my aunt gave me. it looks very similar to lily of the valley but grows like daffodils, very pretty. i also transplanted 2 of my knockout roses. the area i had them in wasn't working & so we moved them. the land we live on was covered in woods when we bought it. we've owned it since 2000 & have done alot in those 12 years. i don't feel like that until i think back to how it used to be....wow. i guess we have about 1 1/2-2 acres cleared for our yard & house & knowing there was NOTHING @ 1st, i think in another 10 years or so we'll have it just the way we want, hahahaha!
there was even an old wagon trail through the land that we found. i thought that was really cool!
i hope ya'll have a good monday!!!! be back in a bit!

i have never seen them before but i think they are so beautiful! the ones my aunt gave me already have blooms on them so i don't expect them to bloom again this year. i'm sure they will be even prettier next year! i would love to see that picture star!

I got to meet him at a signing in August and you could just tell that he is a really down to earth guy.

Christmasstar, you should make a MMC Gingerbread House of The Pines with Carl hanging around it! We can all enjoy looking at the picture posted on here and your family can wonder what the heck is MMC, The Pines and then ask, "why is there a camel"? :!!

Solice, that is one nice gingerbread advent calendar house you posted!

OK, now you have all kinds of ideas running around in my brain! Hopefully this years competition has something to do with pine trees!

I find it hard to believe anything could move that fast!

Think I maybe poured coffee on the keyboard.....

YABBA!

I would think you would have caught the coffee in mid air before it even got close to the keyboard.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a long, wet weekend. But I'm not complaining. We've needed that kind of rain for a while. We got a little over 4"...nice! I even had to go out in the rain and open some clogged storm drains.

Later Saturday night, we went out to eat for my sister-in-law's and my niece's birthday. We had hibachi Japanese. I love that stuff, and I always eat the meal with chop sticks. I find that I eat slow with chop sticks, so I eat less. Maybe I should develop a new diet; eat all you want, but eat with chop sticks!

Yesterday we had lunch at my mom's. After lunch, I slept on her couch for two hours. She love old clocks, and has nearly 20 in her living room. All that ticking just knocks me out!

For supper, we had crab legs and shrimp at Bernie's. Whew, what a great eating weekend!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's a cold snowy morning here in central Indy. We only got a dusting of snow but it still looks beautiful out. I've been sitting around playing with my niece all morning and now I've got her dusting for me. She loves to dust. Her mom and dad should be here in a couple of hours to pick her up and then I have to run to the grocery store again. I just spent $200 at the store on friday and my niece's have wiped me out. Their mom complains that they never eat at home but they are endless pits here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dawg--so sorry about your dad

We made it through the tornadoes. An EF-2 hit 15 minutes from our house. We beat it home by about 10 minutes. We have a friend whose garage was totalled, with two vehicles inside. The house just lost some siding/shingles. Schools are closed today.

We all have pity parties now & then, but I feel so blessed that, as far as I know, all of my family is healthy & we have jobs to go to so that we can pay our bills. My grandmother's 88th birthday was Saturday & we're blessed that we still have her with us.

Here's hoping for a better week for all of us.

Seawaters--thinking of & praying for you
