This is so encouraging! I joined Weight Watchers online a few weeks ago, and so far have lost 7 pounds. But I have quite a way to go yet. It's good to see folks lose weight and keep it off, which is what I'm afraid I'll have trouble with. Well, you never know if you can do something until you try!

Good luck, MerryBells! Seven pounds within a few weeks is a great accomplishment. Keep it up!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, My Over-The-Top Comrades.

Indeed.
We have climbed to the top of the weekly ladder and are now descending the slide down to the weekend.

But beware the Ides of March!
(At least if you name is Julius)

Yes, it is indeed the 15th of March already - and already we have reached Milestone #3 on our handy-dandy chart:
Days to the Season: 243
Days to Christmas Day: 285
The 1/3 Milestone to the Season: It---Is---Here!
(Heavens to Betsy and Land 'O Goshen!)

It is so warm here!
<< How warm is it, Crown >>
It's so warm, Binger doesn't even need a percolator to brew their coffee.
<< That's warm, Crown! >>

Yes Sir, I think we have skipped right over spring and have headed straight away into summer.
The thermometer topped out at 84 yesterday and 85 is predicted for today with lots of warm weather on tap for the forseeable tuture.
(And I'm enjoying every minute of it!)

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks.

(Hey! Who won the door prize at the 'Pines yesterday? Was it in fact a leprechaun Christmas ornament or were the rumors wrong?)

Happy Milestone day, everyone! 1/3 to the Christmas Season! We have made it! Only about eight more months until we reach the 2012 Christmas Season! Until we welcome in Christmas, keep enjoying this fantastic year!

I'm planning a new trip to USA in November
(closer to Christmas!!!) But I don't know where.
Any suggestions? Where would you like to go?

We have been thinking about NY, Washington, Seattle, San Francisco,
Florida and Texas (+visiting a aunt in Houston)...

NY it's tempting, but it is so big and crowded (I guess)
Have you seen one big city you have seen them all (I think)

The goal for the trip is just to enjoy ourselves.
+ Do a lot of Christmas shopping! =]

I'd recommend Canada, but that would be bias. Plus, I think you're better off going to one of the cities/states that you mentioned, Solice.

To be honest, I've never been to any of them. I've always wanted to go to the west coast. I've been all throughout New York but never in the heart of New York City. I will go sometime... especially during the Christmas Season. I want to experience the magic!

Good luck with the planning!

I think the conversation of, visual migraines, jinxed me! I had a bad one yesterday. This one did end up hurting because usually when I have one I just try to lay down and relax until it passes but instead I just had too much to do and kept trying to do stuff around the house. I ended up with a headache and nausea afterward. It knocked me down for the day but I guess it didn't help that I have already been feeling exhausted this past week. I will be okay! I will think of Christmas and be just fine! :wiggy:

I tried to come on here yesterday but it just hurt to look at a computer screen. I haven't had a chance to read any of the countdown today. I will try to catch up later.

I hope you all have a blessed day! =)

 hope your headacre clears up soon

Glad to hear that you're doing better, CAH!!

umm, Canada! come to Canada instead...CN tower, Stratford Shakespeare festival, Rheo Thompson chocolates, worlds biggest suppy of fresh water, me!

and we have a Christmas store in town!
Oh! Yes, maybe we do just that!!! =]
Actually we have been thinking of Ontario too!

I would suggest New York. CAH and I always talk about how we would like to go there close to the Christmas season. Of course it depends when in November you are going. I'm not sure when they start decorating.

Of course you could stop by Dallas and visit CAH and me,

Yes, that would be nice! =]

I decided that we will go after Halloween
Because when we was (or were? Hehe..) in Chicago in October last year,
there was all this Halloween stuff everywhere.

I was thinking if we came after Halloween this 'things' would be '
replaced with Christmas stuff - and I would be in heaven! Yay! =]

Thank you so much! =]
And yes, it's the magic I'm looking for too!

If there is any one place in the USA that should not be missed it is the Grand Canyon.
Absolutely awe-inspiring.

But if you want to be fair to (and visit) both the USA and Canada, then I would recommend Niagara Falls.

The grand canyon is on my bucket list!

I agree with Niagara falls! Fun place to be on either side of the boarder! My kids and I are going there next Friday, just a day trip, but will be nice to get away for the day.

What are your interests in addition to Christmas? That probably should determine where you go.

Makes me think of Van Morrison! Hehe..
I had to google Georgia... Wow.. Huge!
Where in Georgia do you think we should go? =]
LOL! Like Brent, I'm biased toward my home state. I've always thought Savannah was one of the most beautiful coastal cities around. I'm also partial to the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina!

I really want to travel to Savannah someday...
I love the way they talk there =]
But, I see it takes time to get there...

Good Thursday Christmas Family!
Hope this day brings you lots of love!

I'm counting hours. Soon I will be in Amsterdam! Yay!
