Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Nothing special planned this weekend. Mr. has to work later today, so I'll be amusing myself this afternoon---probably putting a few more snowflakes on that everlasting afghan. Maybe I'll pull out some of our old LPs and listen to them for a change!

I bought a few LPs at the local record store this past week. One was Christmas which reminded me to listen to Christmas Vinyl Radio this week while commuting.

I guess I'm getting ready for Record Store Day coming April 21, 2012!

Plus I've been in a lounge music mood on Spotify lately. I've listened to just about all of the Capitol Records Ultra-Lounge series this week.

Today is laundry in the morning and grass cutting (first for the season) in the afternoon.

Good evening, Christmas family

What a HORRIBLE day at work. I was typing along when the phone rang so of course I answered. It was my supervisor. Aparently I made a HUGE mistake on one of the radiology reports and the doctor who dictated it called and reamed out my company so my supervisor of course had to call and tell me I caused all of them to be yelled at.
After that I did not even want to type at all but I had to. I told her I had probably used an abbreviation that was similar to the correct one and had not noticed but I immediately changed it so it will never happen again.

On top of that, I had requested a vacation day tomorrow. I did not know how much notice they needed or anything so I figured it could not hurt to ask. The reply was that they had to get someone to work my shift for me so I can be off. I feel really guilty but I am still taking tomorrow. I need to be away from them for a while to think things over. I don't need someone yelling at me and trying to make me feel guilty. I do all that by myself.

Hope you can get everything figured out. You're right - you don't deserve that! Xoxo

I am sitting at the costco food court. I should have known better than to go shopping the first day I am feeling better. I am wore out and all I did was pick up icing sugar! waiting for my friend to finish shopping, then we're going to enjoy some ice cream. that should give me plenty of energy!

Good afternoon, Christmas friends. Woke up to frost this morning. It is breezy and kind of cool, even as we speak. I am listening to Irish music, Shellie: Irish Music and Craic-Barnbrack and The Very Best of Tony Kenny's Ireland. Hubby and I are taking my former aide to dinner at the Elks Lodge tonight--corned beef and cabbage. We are going to Mass first. Right now, I am so tired. Hubby is helping me do laundry, and he is also packing up boxes from our kitchen/den area. He is really anxious to get started on the remodeling. I am going to take a nap so I can "party" tonight. I love wine, but I gave it up for Lent; so it will be a party night with diet Pepsi!!! Have a great day, everyone. Oh, CAH, I was thinking the same thing about breakfast with Brad! I guess we just have to get up earlier!!!

Warm warm WARM out here. 82° F right now - the warmest St. Patty's day I can ever remember!

We decided not to grill since the Penguins game was on (they won 5-2!) so we just ordered out. My mom and I are going to go pick up steak salads for us all now.

Good afternoon all!!! It's a warm 80 degree day here in south central Georgia...I just got through shaving my head outside as to not make a mess...I shave it about once a month and this time of year it really feels good to go bald!! We are having our pool cleaned today and getting it ready for the summer months,I have not got in it for a swim yet I usually wait until april for that. I hope everyone has a great st patty's day!!!

home again on this most beautiful day. We are breaking records daily with these warm temperatures. Feels more like May than March! Even the leaves are starting to come out, cannot recall ever seeing that this time of the year.

I won't be able to listen in tonight for the Greasy Skillet. Mass is at 5 and then we will be going to the St. Patrick's Day dinner at the Lodge. This day has turned out to be gorgeous, sunny and slightly breezy. A fellow teacher sent a card today and included a gift card to Outback. I work with a great bunch of teachers and staff! Have a great rest-of-the-day and evening, everyone.

Gorgeous day out today. When I finished with work, I sat outside and just enjoyed the warm temperatures and the quiet. I am exhausted again, though - this sinus allergy thing I have been fighting off is taking a lot out of me.

My major plans for the night are to listen to the Greasy Skillet - good stuff!

Record Store Day, that sounds awesome, I wonder if I could find some rare stuff from The Move at some of the stores. We use to have a great record store in Enfield, CT, I haven't been there in years, so they may be closed now. I was able to buy some great extremely rare (mainly bootlegs) Beatles stuff from them. Those and Goldmine magazine were the reasons I went there.

The Pens look good, winning 11 games in a row, and getting Letang and Sid back, that team is stacked. My Bruins are struggling now, but the Pens are my 1b team. They will be a tough out.
