With a nicely warm finish to winter, I cannot wait for today's installment to kick off the first day of Spring.
We alreay stand at 61 degrees and should be comfortably situated in the 70's by this afternoon.
Some more lightning and thunder early this morning, but not as bad as a couple of nights ago.

Well I said before that it sounded like the storms were moving away. They were, but there were more behind them. It is still raining and thundering and lightning quite a bit, it's supposed to be moving out of here in a couple of hours though.

weird..nice sunny morning, enjoying the fresh air when suddenly it starts to thunder, loudly!
My cat is totally freaking out. Checked the weather radar map and we are about to be hit by a very narrow band of storm that looks like it is going to be mean.
(lots of red in there)
Guess I better go and close the bedroom windows.

Good Tuesday morning, everybody! Checking in on all of you before the jobs start hitting my desk.

We're getting May and June weather here---it's supposed to be in the 80s tomorrow and close to 90F on Thursday. Unreal, considering that last year at this time we were hip-deep in snow. I'm enjoying it! We've been opening the windows and airing the winter out of the house.

Any day now I'm expecting a Christmas record (vinyl, not a CD) I bought on eBay---it's coming over from London. Looking forward to listening to it and digitizing it so I can load it into my MP3 players.

same here, thunderstorms in March are virtually unheard of. Usually we are looking out the window wishing the snow would melt so the flowers can come up.

The kids are coming home from school any second now.
All five of them!
I have a very 'slow day'. Don't feel like doing anything.
But I have done some housework and some grocery shopping.

And I have a meeting with my girl's teacher in about two hours.
After that I have to pick up my son from Daycare.
And we are going home to eat Tacos with the rest of the family.

I have a date tonight, with the TV.
The Desperate Housewives and The Big C.
With some Coke Zero, chips and dip!
Right now, I'm looking forward to that! =]

Good Evening MMC!!!! It has been a long and hot day here in central Indy. I got up at 2:30 this morning to take my sister to the airport and then I had to go babysit my niece's while my brother in law was at work. Now I am just exhausted. So I probably won't get caught up tonight. I think mom is going to babysit tomorrow so I will get caught up then. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening,

Just doing my daily check-in, it seems there are less hours the day, I get home around 4:30 and boom it is 8pm before we know it. I am actually watching the Bruins game for the first time in about 2 weeks, they lead Toronto 7-0 (sorry Christmasheart, thinking of you cheesy ) Tomorrow my little guy turns 4 years old, how fast they grow. I hope time slows down a bit, life is going at 150mph right now, and I am sick with a sinus cold, so I am really worn out. I am going to take some Nyquil and catch some zzzzzz.

Lots of rain and wind here in the big D. Flash flooding too. Some places were damaged by high winds, not us thank goodness, haven't heard of any injuries. No tornadoes in Texas that I know of, there were some in Oklahoma, don't think anybody was hurt or anything, so that's good. Somebody got their car stuck in some high water not too far from us near White Rock Lake, they got out alright though. Sounds like the storms are moving away from us now, one of our chihuahuas is scared to death of the thunder, she just keeps pacing around the house, poor thing. It's weird that when she is scared like that, she doesn't want to be around people, she just keeps to herself. Well goodnight all, and have a great Tuesday!

Hope you guys are ok. I heard some folks saying the other day that a hurricane would at least bring some rain. Crazy talk! We could use a lot of rain, but not another hurricane! They must not remember the last one.

Mine went off to work a couple of hours ago. The day is just starting here although I have already cleaned the kitchen, did some garden repairs before the rain started and straightened up my bedroom.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot day here with a high of 85 degrees. I can't for this weekend to arrive and the cooler temps that are supposed to come with it. Rain, Rain, RAIN!!! As SIT mentioned, it has stormed all night and still storming now. I love it but my little doggy is so scared that she hasn't slept all night long. I feel so bad for her. She is going to be exhausted when it's all over.

My son took SIT and I out to eat Saturday night and my daughter and son-in-law treated me to dinner last night. I can get use to that! cheesy

We are fine, thanks. I'm just wondering how my drive to work will be, lots of flash flooding. The drainage here is terrible, even with a shower I stay out of the right lane because it is always flooded.

You are right, nobody "needs" a hurricane!

MerryCarey, my dad has lots of vinyl records. I remember when he started collecting them and kept telling us they will go out one day and bring in something new. I didn't think it would ever happen but of course it did. I have noticed that they are making a comeback! Enjoy your records!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Happy first day of Spring!

It's Tuesday, so my daughter comes to my office this afternoon. That's always a good day.

My supervisor just got promoted, so we're taking him out to lunch today. That changes my daily schedule a bit. Usually, I go to my mother-in-law's restaurant after they close for leftovers, then I take out her trash, then I go home and walk the dog. Sometimes a little shake-up in the daily schedule makes things interesting, eh?
