Congrats on your new baby, face-washer, and dishwasher!!!

We had a very sad day last Wednesday, and I didn't post anything about it because I was so upset. Hobbs the Wonder Dog passed away, we think it was a stroke. We buried him in our back yard with his best friend Sandy, and thought we weren't getting any more dogs. Inflation and all, you know. But before two days were out, we both changed our minds. The house was just too quiet, and there was nobody to lick the plates when we were done eating.

So this morning, we went to the Anne Arundel Co. Animal Shelter, and came home with Victor. Victor is a mixed breed; he's part Jack Russell, but that's all we know. He is bigger than a Jack Russell, but what else he is is anyone's guess.

Anyway, here are a few pics of Victor to brighten your day.

Victor was as good as gold on the ride home. He was even reasonably well behaved in PetsMart. I took him next door to meet my Mom, and he washed her face very nicely. We are all very happy!

Oh-he came with the name "Victor", and I wondered "Why Victor?". But then it dawned on me- He looks like the "Victor/Victrola" dog.

Good afternoon, everyone! It's beautiful here. 75F and sunny. I did a few things around the house and played with the kids. I'm trying to get some of energy back, so I am ready for work tonight. It sounds like I may be working 12 hours (into tomorrow), so I am trying to prepare myself!

What is everyone up to today? It's such a nice day to get outside. I think we'll probably take the kids out and let EA play once she gets up from her nap.

Well, I am going to try to start getting caught up from the past couple of days. I always, I am sure I have missed a lot. Talk you all later on!

I'm sorry about Hobbs. I know it's a hard thing to lose a beloved pet. Why, oh why, don't dogs and cats live as long as we do?

Victor looks like he'll be lot of fun!

Any day now I'm expecting a Christmas record (vinyl, not a CD) I bought on eBay---it's coming over from London. Looking forward to listening to it and digitizing it so I can load it into my MP3 players.

Has it arrived yet? It sounds awesome! I hope you enjoy!

My son took SIT and I out to eat Saturday night and my daughter and son-in-law treated me to dinner last night. I can get use to that! cheesy

That's sooo nice of them! You deserve that everyonce in a while!

Oldies.com just scored a ton of vintage vinyl! From the wepage:

We recently discovered a HUGE stash of new never-played Vinyl LPs in a warehouse in Eastern Pennsylvania, product left-over from a long defunct record distributor.

We couldn't pass it up! This 92-pallet load took over four tractor-trailers to transport to our warehouse. What a find it was! Over 250,000 LPs, mostly from the 1970s to the 1990s, including many rare & hard-to-find titles we haven't seen in YEARS!

Thanks for always keeping us in the loop, RJD. You truly are AMAZING.

oh, i didn't know until i read your post about ward!

Lol...just re-reading my post. I spelled Hines name like the ketchup, Heinz. I must have been tired the other day while I was typing!!!

Hey Dawg! Sorry to hear you've been so busy. Hope things slow down soon for you.

Good evening,

Nyquil made me sleep like a baby last night, I felt pretty good all day today. LC had a great day today, they threw him a party at daycare and he made out like a bandit, they are all so nice there. We took him to BK for dinner, because that is what he wanted for his b-day dinner, he and JP had fun there.

I am having a very bad anxiety night, and I am out of my Rx, just have a few things on my mind bothering me and I feel so helpless when my anxiety acts up.

Late shift tomorrow, then day off for my foot appt. on Thursday.

That's so nice to hear that LC had a great day. His daycare does sound wonderful. What a nice thing for them to do for him.

I hope you're feeling better and you were able to get your anxiety issues under control. That can be so stressful.

How did you make out at your appointment?

I got all my e-mail issues resolved this morning. I had all the server information to plug in, I just needed my password reset for my previous Outlook Express account. Once my ISP did that, it took me like 3 seconds to finish setting up my e-mail. I have done it before and I couldn't understand what I was putting in wrong. At least it is FIXED.

Wes saw his cardiologist today and everything looks really good. So far, so good ! xo

I hope everyone is doing okay. I am falling asleep trying to type this so I am going to say goodnight.

Big (((Hug))) to all and especially to Ella, Snickers, Harlowe, Snowball, Chico, Gomez, Daisy, Scooby, Sasha, Palmer, Mouse, and all furkids everywhere xo

Glad to hear you got all of your computer issues worked out!

Wonderful news on Wes!!!

Big Xoxo to all of your furbabies!

Finally....I'm home.

Out of meetings at 2:00 to catch flight. Flight delayed two hours. Get on plane, something wrong with window, get off plane. What was supposed to be a one hour flight with a two hour drive turned into an 9 hour adventure.

I could have drove the trip and saved money and time.

Go figure.

Off to bed!

Sorry to hear you had so much trouble. Hope you enjoyed the trip and more than that, you're really enjoying spring break!

Im so sick and tired today.
Looking forward to some acupuncture.
I always feel better after 1-2 hours with needles all over my body.
But it hurts more each week to 'put them in'..
Especially on my hands... But it's worth it.

Hope you're feeling better!

good morn'in ya'll!
my sis did pretty good in her surgery. the doc had to do a little more than anticipated. it took about 3 1/2 hours. poor thing had to stay in recovery until around 5:30pm though because they had no rooms. my b-i-l said there was 5 in recovery waiting on rooms yesterday afternoon. my sis actually called me herself last night. she said she had some pain but was ok. she wanted me to thank all ya'll for your prayers-they work!! the pain in her left leg was constant from the pinched nerve before & she said it was already gone!! thank God!!

That's great news! How has been doing the past few days?

Thanks for always keeping us in the loop, RJD. You truly are AMAZING.
You're welcome & thank you! I wouldn't want anyone to remain loopless as I generally am myself.

I should also point out that nine titles are Christmas albums! I haven't researched if these same titles are available in a digital form. Clean vinyl will sound better anyway!

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a long time but I have Christmas on the brain right now, so I thought I would stop by.

1/4 of the way to Christmas already? Wow, time is really flying by!

I hope you all have a wonderful day. Temps are suppose to be in the 80's this afternoon. Seems like we skipped Spring and jumped right into Summer!

:hi:

Great to see you! Stop by when you can!

good a.m. My MC family!!TGIF!!
hubby will be going to Belgium today & thinks he'll be able to call me....we'll see! i've never went a week w/out talking to him, heck i've never been a whole week w/out seeing him!..your be so glad to get him home.. there is a old saying over there "you never miss the water to the well runs dry"
prom is tonight for an area high school. we are busy @ work.
my niece goes to that high school & is a junior. this would have been her 1st prom, she had gotten her dress, shoes, made her hair appointment & stuff...well she was getting out of her mom's car @ school on Wednesday & fell. she hurt her foot. that baby went on through part of the morning hurting & by 10 or 11 am her foot was blue. she kept an ice pack on it for the day. ended up she stayed home yesterday & her mom couldn't get her an appointment w/ an orthopeadic (spelling) until this morning. it's the outside part of her left foot i think. her foot is black now, no prom for her tonight! they said she was crying because of it. i feel so bad for her!.
God love her she must be so dissappointed. bet she was so looking forward to it as well..

my sis is home from the hospital. she's walking alot. she says she hurts really bad when she gets up out of a chair. she tried to lay in bed but that hurt too much so she's in a recliner. she has the back brace but as of last night she wasn't wearing it. says she's gonna put it on 1st thing this morning. of course i fussed @ her about that (strictly out of love). told her it would probably help w/ the pain of getting up. she said, i don't know, i think it would be more aggravation. i'm like yeah vicky, they gave you the back brace just to aggravate you!! c'mon. i will be sure & call her late morning to make sure she's in it by then.

Good to hear that she is doing good. But she needs to wear the brace to keep her back from getting out of shape. and to strighten it as well. you done right to give of lol your only doing it caise you care. am sure she knows that

Good morning! Just wanted to stop in real quick and say hello.

I have been so sick the past two days with the flu. I actually had to call off of work last night, which is something I hardly ever do. I am sorry I never checked in, but I just wasn't feeling up to it.

I will be back on later sometime. Hope you're all having a great day.

Really hope your feeling a bit better today. YOU must have been bad to call in sick to work as your usually the one doing extra shifts..

Again, miss you all... LB

That is truly awesome! That would be so neat to go there at Christmastime, too!

Miss you around, LB! Stop in when you can.
