my sis is home from the hospital. she's walking alot. she says she hurts really bad when she gets up out of a chair. she tried to lay in bed but that hurt too much so she's in a recliner. she has the back brace but as of last night she wasn't wearing it. says she's gonna put it on 1st thing this morning. of course i fussed @ her about that (strictly out of love). told her it would probably help w/ the pain of getting up. she said, i don't know, i think it would be more aggravation. i'm like yeah vicky, they gave you the back brace just to aggravate you!! c'mon. i will be sure & call her late morning to make sure she's in it by then.

Sorry to hear about your niece. What a bummer. I beat she was so crushed.

Thanks for the update on your sister. Glad to hear she is feeling better everyday.

what you're saying is sad but true! i've seen it happen alot here too, not so much w/ my son as w/ my daughter. lots of coaches have faves & that's the only ones they give a chance.. the saddest thing is kids don't get to enjoy the sports they love. i am so sorry this has happened to your son, i'm sure he's upset & probably thinking something is wrong w/ him if they cut him. rachron it's gonna be on you as a rent (parent) to reassure him it's not anything he did or did not do, it's that some adults still behave like children & it's all about popularity. what ever happened to NOT CUTTING ANYONE?

Hello Christmas Friends

I know I haven't been here in a long time, Just wanted to let everyone know why. Little know fact about me, my ex father in law has been in my life for 12 plus years. even when his son and I divorced, and I remarried pop stayed with our family. he is my 2nd dad. On January 30 2012 our family was turned upside down. pop suffered a Hemorrhagic stroke. it's a stroke due to a brain bleed and it was in the middle of his brain. he suffered it here at home and I had to get him help. it's been a ruff 2 and a half months since then. Will he ever fully recover? we don't know..... but he can say a few words and he knows who everyone is and can at least move the left side of his body. it's going to take time, faith, and prayer.....

and now as I type this all but two of the 7 kids has the stomach virus and I haven't slept in over 24 hours.................. but I'm momma and when they are sick they want me

I so miss y'all and I wish merry blessing on all of you! please keep our family in your prayers thanks!!

It was refreshingly cool yesterday and dowright cold last night.
We stand currently at 46 degrees here but should recover into the low 60's by this afternoon, then will be back in the 70's tomorrow.
