Christmas Countdown - 2012

Hey everyone!

Just finally managed to get a minute to stop by and say hi to everyone. Wow, between school for me, the husband and the kids not to mention spring cleaning this week I just needed to take some time and sit for a minute! It was 82 degrees here today but I decided to go on Netflix and have a Christmas episode marathon of a couple of my favorite shows so the heat had no effect on me today. We'll see how well this works in July LOL. I hope all of you have a wonderfully blessed day and remember we're one day closer to Christmas!!

Hey Sprinkleshouse! That sounds like an awesome way to beat the heat. I think that sounds like a great idea for July. I think I will be trying that too. Hope you and you're family are doing well!

GOOD MORN'IN MY MC FAMILY!! YA'LL ARE LOOKING STUNNING & BEAUTIFUL AS EVER!!!
I THINK I SPENT TOO MUCH TIME OUTSIDE YESTERDAY, MY SINUS' ARE GIVING ME A FIT! WOKE UP @ 6AM W/ A SINUS HEADACHE....TOOK MEDS SO IT'S GONE NOW! THE SAD THING IS, I'LL BE RIGHT BACK OUT THERE TODAY. I LOVE WORKING IN MY YARD & I'VE STILL GOTTA A GOOD BIT TO DO. I CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT IN THE SUMMER SO NOW IS THE BEST TIME FOR ME, EVEN W/ THE SINUS ISSUES!

MY BABY GIRL'S ANKLE WAS RED & FEVERISH LAST NIGHT. IT'S PROBABLY GONNA TURN EVERY COLOR OF BLUE BEFORE IT'S OVER. I TOLD HER I WOULD GIVE HER A PEDICURE TODAY SOMETIME, I'M THINKING POLKA DOTS IN EVERY COLOR. I MEAN SHE CAN'T WEAR SHOES, ONLY FLOPS, SO THOSE TOESIES HAVE TO BE CUTE, RIGHT?

I WANTED TO TELL YA'LL, WHEN I READ THE AWFULLY SWEET, KIND THINGS YA'LL POSTED TO MAUREEN ABOUT ME, THAT TOUCHED ME. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME & I'M SO TICKLED TO BE A PART OF SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE.

MY DADDY'S EXCITED ABOUT US ALL GOING TO MY SISTER'S THIS WEEKEND COMING. THEY HAVE THE BEST YARD/GARAGE SALES DOWN THERE. Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well when you got up this morning. Glad to hear though that the medicine helped.

I think that is so sweet what you're doing for your daughter. I think she will love that. I never even thought about that - VERY COOL, MerryM! You sound like such a wonderful Mom!

As for the posts: We love you here and the MOM is so well deserved. We couldn't imagine this place without you!

The week at your sister's sounds like so much fun. I love to go and do that type of thing, too. It will be a lot of fun, I'm sure. It sounds like you have such a fun week/weekend ahead of you!

CAH mentioned that our son will forget his own birthday, well one year he didn't even realize it was Christmas day. I asked CAH, are you sure he is your son?cheesy

We just finished dinner and I drove my DH to the airport. Off to work. He will be back on Tuesday.

Happy Sunday to all! I'm thinking of you and reading your posts. We had plans to spend the day with a friend of ours, but he's been sick all week, so we have to postpone that. But the good news is that it gave me the opportunity to sleep in this morning, which was much needed after the busy workweek last week. NOT looking forward to starting another round of that tomorrow.

But today we should be able to relax. Haven't figured out what we're going to do yet, but it'll probably involve going to the 99 restaurant for lunch later on. And probably movies.

I was able to catch part of the Greasy Skillet last night on my Kindle Fire. Is the real-time participation only on Facebook? I'm not on Facebook, so I can't join in. Ever thought of having some of the real-time chat over at ChristmasChatter.com? We've got several chat rooms over there that seldom get used ... they're open year-round whenever we want to chat.

Time for some tea and TV, I think.

Just sitting here watching Phantom Gourmet, the show always makes me hungry, it is a local show out of Boston featuring New England eateries. So many good restaurants by you MC. Just relaxing today.

Good morning, everyone! How are you all today? I am well. Just enjoying a cup of coffee and spending time with my kids. DH is doing work in our basement. It's the only part of our house that's not finished yet. It's a work in progress (haha - will be for another few years!) When we built our house, we left that and the play room unfinished. He's already done the play room, which is a 4 bedroom, finished, but the basement is going to take awhole longer, since it's the whole length of the house. A lot more costly too.

Anyway, after we do lunch (which I don't know what we're doing yet lol), I've got to do some sweeping and I am going to run to the store and finish shopping for the kids Easter baskets - that way I have that done.

Other than that, nothing planned here. I have to figure out later what we're going to do for dinner, too. If there going to call me early to work, they will probably call sometime this afternoon, so I need to start planning about dinner here shortly - that way, I at least I am prepared.

Okay - enough of talking your ear off! Hope everyone is well!

This is Holy Week coming up. I will keep all of your in my prayers, as I will be doing extra praying. What a beautiful week this. Please remember everyone what this week is all about.

She seems to be doing okay. I just found out that she fell out of her bed last sunday night and hit her head. Then she was fine when she woke up monday morning. So that's interesting.
