Well Christmas family, I am going to head to bed now. I am sure I will be up at some point tonight, I'm just not sure when, so I want to sign off and head to bed with my NOOK and try to fall asleep. I am sure it won't take me long at all!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and a wonderful day tomorrow. Talk to you all tomorrow for morning coffee or if you prefer tea! Goodnight! Keep smiling! :hello:

Cm3: Stay strong and positive! I'll be thinking and praying!

Seawaters: Stil thinking and praying for you, too!

Good evening,

Long day today, we just got home a little less than 2 hours ago, today is JP's 7th birthday, my first born baby is getting so big. We went to my in-laws for a mini celebration, his party is Sunday. My sister will be getting in tomorrow afternoon, I am working, so my wife will be picking her, and my niece and nephew at Bradley Field in Windsor Locks, CT. So there will be 3 adults a 7, 4, 3, and 1 year old running around the house for 5 days, it is school vacation week now, and we are planning to go to Six Flags on Tuesday.

Great hockey game last night, overtime win was very exciting, tomorrow afternoon for game 2. Hockey playoffs are my second favorite time of year right after Christmas.

Good night everyone!

Happy 7th Birthday to JP! Hope he enjoyed the day, but I am sure Sunday and Tuesday will really be a lot of fun for him!

Enjoy the time with your family! That will be wonderful, I'm sure, to see all of them.

CM3--You and Ivy and your husband are all in my heart tonight ... Stay strong. Ivy is in God's care.

I'm bored, to early to go to bed, to sick to do anything but sit here and wonder what everyone is doing on this Friday night who is not sick!

We just sat back and watched some "Barney Miller" episodes on DVD. Getting ready for bed now.

Take care of yourself. You're in my thoughts, too. Here's a prayer for everyone who's feeling under the weather or having troubles just now.

Xmas - I am so totally self-absorbed I didn't realize I didn't say Happy Birthday to JP....xo I hope his birthday was wonderful xo

CM3- I'm praying for you, your husband, and Ivy.

10,000 posts on April 14th. Wow!!!!

Goodngiht Everyone!!!!!!!

Good evening, dear Christmas family.

I am really sad tonight....my little Chihuahua, Ivy, is in the hospital in very serious condition. She seems to have developed some sort of heart condition.........She has beeng choking and gagging and today she would not eat....I called the doctor right away and when my husband got home he took her. The vet told my husband that her tongue is blue and she is cyanotic. He did x-rays and has severe pulmonary edema. When I spoke to him on the phone he said he put her on oxygen and started her on Lasix which is a diuretic.....

He was very serious so I know that Ivy is near dying........I can't tell you how this hurts, I know that you all understand. I just hope the treatment works and that it is not too late....I know she is 14 but we both love her so much.......I had to work this afternoon and once I found out how bad her condition is I could barely concentrate......

If you could all spare a prayer or two for my Ivy, that would be so wonderful.......Thanks everyone.....I am going to sign off for now...

(((Hugs))) to all especially Harlowe, Ella, Snowflake, Snickers, Daisy, Palmer, Mouse, Chico and siblings, Gomez and siblings, Bo, Pocket, Penny, Victor, and all furkids everywhere xo
A cm3 omg the poor wee thing. i now how it feels big time. i really really hope she makes it. i no 14 is a big age but we never want them to leave. Is she taking the pulmononary egema prehaps from the heart as the lungs must have fluid in them. the oxygen and the water tablet will give her some releif.why am asking that is that pulmonary is a condition that comes from a underlaying problem . Please keep us informed. I swear cm3 i really hope she can get over this i have asked st therese to help her. am not gonna tell you not to worry as am sure worry and hurt are 2 big things right now. am thinking of you

Good morning, dear Christmas family! How is everyone doing? I'm well. I got about 5 hours of sleep - not total, but I laid down a little after 12 and got up around 5, but I know I didn't sleep that totally!

EA walked into my room crying and crawled up into my bed around 2 and has been there since, then DS woke up at 5 and here we are! I was hoping he would go back to sleep, but he was ready to get up for the day.

As for EA, my daughter, she has had a big week since Easter and I am so proud of her. I haven't talked about it, but will now. Some of you will think my DH and I'm crazy and if you want to, that's okay. Every parent does things differently. My inlaws even think we're crazy.

We've been potty training her since she's been 18 months because she's been interested. She a lot of times wouldn't have an accident at home anymore, even at night. At daycare though, that was a different story. This past week, since she's 2 1/2, at daycare and at home, she has been starting to wear "big girl pants" and hasn't been having accidents. The key was to the "round #2 on the potty. Haha - she finally did it! She was scared to do it for some reason, but she finally did it. She loves going on the potty now. I'm so proud of her.

Her's the downside though - in the same week, (where the glares may come in), we had already planned to take her pacifier, her "binky" and she was going to put in her basket for the Easter bunny. Other parents gave me this idea. I thought at 2 1/2 this wasn't a big deal at all. She was so attached that she would take it everywhere. She would even take my son's out of his mouth. We've actually taken my son's, except at night and he hardly ever uses his.

She now for the past week for a couple of the nights hasn't slept through all night, in her own bed. Grrr....we had to eventually take it sometime. I didn't want to wait to long. I guess what I am trying to do is convience myself that this is just an adjustment period, right?

Sorry this was such a long post.

Hope everyone has great day. I always write long post like this when no one is logged on and when I am dead tired!!! :)

Cm3: I've been thinking about you & praying hard! (((Ivy)))

Thanks, Shellie! I appreciate it!

I can't remember how old I was, but I gave mine to the Easter bunny as well, but I don't remember because my mom told me about it. I think if this work, maybe we will try as Easter. I think she is going to be like me and love Christmas. She LOVES Santa and talks about him all the time - still everyday. If I am on here, she wants to see: SANTA! She doesn't even ask for the pacifier. She says she is big and doesn't need it, so I think she is just adjusting (I hope!)

My DH parents made him and his sister throws theres into the back of the garbage truck - I think that is horrible, but that is just me. I wouldn't make her go to that extreme.

Just jumping in here to wish you a great day!
The sun is shining today.
Im going to visit a friend of mine.

But, first we are going to the ER with the little one
At 1 o'clock.
He cut himself on glass, so we have to go in and take it out.
(He wont let med do it)
And it's my fault who left the broken mirror in the hall when cleaning up
Just for a short time, but he had to touch it. Like kids do.
And I should have known that :(

Well, have a great day, wherever you are!

Have fun visiting your friend today, Solice and have a great day!

Hope your little guy feels better. Don't feel bad. Those things happen - in a split second. As you said, especially the little ones, they explore and need to touch EVERYTHING. You're a great mom!

Well that could be a idea you could start now and say come christmas you gonna give santa your dummy for toys might work. give her a bit of time to adjust to it.
AYE sure was a nice way to get rid of dh,s dummy think it was a bit much. bet the parents had some crying to listen to. as i said you do it your way THEY ARE YOUR KIDS.
