Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good evening, MMC friends. How are you all this evening? I am well. The kids are winding down and we're getting them really for bed. I work again tonight and I'm not actually off until Tuesday. Blahhh.

Anyway, it's been a busy couple of days and I am looking foward to Tuesday. Tomorrow is my niece's 3rd birthday. She turned 3 on Saturday. It should be fun, as EA and her are 5 months apart. They always have a good time together.

Not much going on here right now. I'm just trying to relax and as I said, help DH get the kids ready for bed.

Well, I am going to go. Gotta get ready for work in a little over an hour. Talk to you guys tomorrow some time. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening and the rest of your weekend.

Life has been a literal ROLLER COASTER lately.........I don't have time to explain now but I will just say that it definitely DID NOT work with the new company and I am no longer there.........It was of my own volition that I am not. As I said I will explain later.......Suffice to say I am an IDIOT. You may quote me.....

me too, I quit a job I loved more than any I have ever done because the manager did nothing but harass me conIstantly and I just could not take it any more. I miss the kids on the school bus so much. Since then I have not had any steady work. Last week I worked all week and then on payday my employer informed me that she did not have any money and was not going to pay me. Already behind on bills because I make so little I most likely will soon loose my Internet. My freezer is empty now, so I unplugged it to save hydro. (might be good for finally loosing some weight!)
But...
I know in who I believe and in His time He will set all things right.
Phillipians 4:19..."My God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory"
I will make it through this and so will you!

I'm sorry things are so tough for you right now, I will keep you in my thoughts.

Glad to hear your DH got home okay and glad to hear you and Har are feeling better. Thanks for the hugs! We will try to have a nice weekend - they fly by so fast - I work until Tuesday morning and so does my DH. My niece's 3rd birthday party is tomorrow...yahhh. Enjoy your weekend as well!

happy sunday to y´all...i hope it is a good one

over here all is fine.......besides the fact that it is grandpa´s b-day today and is the first since he is gone .....I am trying to smile about it...knowing that it is his first birthday with his mom since 1988 and the first birthday with his dad since 1968.....leaving us for him is reuniting with his parents...so I am smiling today knowing that he is without pain and with a part of h is family he missed for so long....I know he is looking on us and is by our side and waiting for us until our time has come........I love You Grandpa and I miss You.....Happy Birthday

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy day yesterday, but we ended it by jumping in the pool. It was my first time this year, and boy did it feel good after all the work I did! I jumped off the lawn mower, into my trunks, and into the pool....ahhhh!

I've got to get the family moving for church, but I think Lulu (our dog) and I will walk around the block one time first.

That means on Tuesday, May 15 we will offically be half way to Christmas day!!!
Checked the start of this thread to make sure I was seeing right, and I was, we are actully that close to our next milestone!

It's Sunday and the kids are WILD, they wouldn't let us sleep this morning, or I should say LC wouldn't let us sleep. I've got to get out and mow the lawn today. Still don't know what my schedule holds for me after tomorrow. :-? I guess I will learn tomorrow.

I posted the count quick before going to church because I did not want it to be late and did not want folks to miss it...what a surprise to see only one person has been here since!
You all must be sleeping in this morning, and what a lovely morning to do so!

I am enjoying my day so far. Currently am making a batch of homemade dulce de leche (caramel sauce). I have tried the stuff made with a can of sweetened condensed milk but did not like the flavour. What I am making now is from all fresh ingredients and takes about 3 hours of slow cooking to make.

Other than that I may play with my cricut cake machine, hang out here (if anyone else gets up that is) watch a movie and read.

Hey friends! Sorry I missed coffee time this morning, but all the talk about Dads made me think I should go enjoy my Mom this morning. She is home alone because Dad works away, so she always enjoys me coming to see her. Plus, it had been almost a week and we live about 100 yards apart (as the crown flies).

Made, we look good. Staying near the back for the first 20, but now he is moving and up checking out his machine. Hopefully we will have a good day. Speaking of good days, I hope all of you have a wonderful day.

He looks good but he said the car is loose on the radio and that it's annoying to drive. He's in P2 though so I'm not going to complain.
