Hello everyone! IT's almost noon...where has the morning gone??!! I have had an okay morning....since brandi is pregnant she gets sick easy anyway and snowball shall we just say had a bad stomach ummm everywhere on my hardwood floor...luckily I have a shark steam cleaner!!! I saw the commercial and just had to have it...so now I have put snowball to bed and hope he gets better soon.Meanwhile I have a queasy stomach and loss of attettite which says alot!!! I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!!!

Congrats to Brandi for winning teacher of the year!!!!!!

I have been plain lazy today my friends!!! after 2 weeks of non stop work,it feels like a mortal sin to have a day off to goof around! I kind of want to go back to bed to nap...I have eaten all day and most of last night...my trainer josh just called and said I had to do double duty in the gym next week...I have gone up to size 33 in pants..i have been 32 size since my 29th birthday so I am gaining some middle age wieght I guess.lol I am pushing 40 and not liking it at all! I will need a sedative for my 40th...anyhow I am having a great weekend..Ihope all of you are too!

Hey, were the same age! 40 is just a number, embrace it, it's not ageing it's getting more seasoned! cheesy Just enjoy the next 2.5 years before you get there.

Honestly,once I give it thought if I could go back and be 21 vs today at 37,I would pick 37 no I don't have as much enegy,or stamina...etc.etc..at 37 I have more knowledge of how things work with relationships and friendships that are important to me.I have to say I am happy to be 37 and glad I don't have to go through the things I have had to go through back in my 20's. Like you said I still have 2.5 years!!!

Am I weird for owning Christmas clothes? Because it sounds totally weird considering the fact that I have specific wardrobe items for the holiday season. cheesy Oh well, being normal is boring.

Sometimes tragedy make some dread Christmas but somehow it's my therapy and I need it more during times like this! I don't know if it will always work but I have been through a few things in life that Christmas was a huge part of healing.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a warm day here with a high of 78 degrees. My niece had to come home with me yesterday so I think we are going to run to a few yard sales like Meceka. Then we have to head out to my older niece's bridging ceremony. She goes from being a Daisy to a Brownie today. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im here watching the waltons after doing some housework....can....will start cooking in a 20minutes after taking a shower....will have some chicken cordon-bleu, with fries as a sidedish...so it is not really cooking....lol

Good luck Meceka! Too bad you weren't around here, one of the countries largest antique show/ flea markets is going on this weekend in the town next to me. I always want to go to find Christmas stuff, but my wife holds the veto power, not her thing.

Thanks! Oh my, that sounds like a fun thing to do! There is one similar to that in Midland, a town about an hour away from me, and I am always busy or short of funds when it is going on. One of these days I'll make it there!

Good afternoon,

One of our cats is very sick right now, our oldest cat Milo, who is 14 years old, we brought him to the animal hospital, and right now they don't know what is wrong with him, he has dropped a lot of weight, he won't eat, he won't use the litter box correctly. My wife has had him longer than she has known me, she is really distraught about him, please keep Milo in your thoughts and prayers.

Besides that my 3 day weekend has been pretty relaxing thus far, not much planned for today, except for making that chocolate covered bacon, and throwing something yummy on the grill for dinner.

It's 6:22 and I am ready for bed! I think Noel and I are getting colds, blech! Nothing worse than being sick in the warm weather.

Thanks for all the comments and prayers for Milo, he is very slow tonight, and bleeding a little. We have the vets cell phone number if we need her. She can't figure out what is wrong with him, but thinking it is pointing to a gastro-intestinal infection. He has lost over 10lbs in the last 1.5 weeks. She took blood and cancer didn't show up. It is so frustrating to see him like the way he is.

The chocolate covered bacon is done, and it is pretty disappointing. It doesn't taste bad just not as good as I was hoping. :-?

Wow that is bad....I hope the little guy gets better and yall can find out what the problem is..its so hard to have a pet be sick and there is nothing you can do...that is a helpless feeling but maybe they will find out something soon!

Okay friends...snowball is at my feet after he just went out to pottie..that means he is ready for bed..you know brandi has had to deal with alot living with me this last year, for one a dog determines when we go to bed...at 830 or dark he gets ready and will not go to bed unless I do.So I guess I will sign out for the night...May be back later though ...in the meantime have a good sat night all!
