tomato and lettuce planted! I put the lettuce in an old stove converted into a planter because we have a few rabbits here who think lettuce was planted for them. I am going to put some pots on the side and back top and plant a few things in the trough at the bottom too. Have to figure out what now.

this was a new perfection oil cook stove, but due to over 1/2 of it missing and very rusted I was told it was worthless. To bad, it was made in 1917. But at least it has a new purpose.

I love how you are using your stove - that is just so cool!!! I have Romano beans, cucumbers and zucchini planted so far. Nothing has come up as of yet, but the seeds haven't been in the ground for even a week, so all is good.

Back from a trip downtown where they (the downtown merchants) were giving free horse drawn carriage rides, my daughter asked me to go with her. I t was fun, got to talk to some ladies visiting from Chicago.

It has gotten much hotter today than first predicted. It is now 28c (about 82f)

Well it may be 88 degrees outside but I'm sitting here with a cover on. I'm trying for frost on the windows.

Good evening, dear Christmas family

It has been a little while since I was here I think. I am so tired tonight that I didn't really read all the posts.......I am just hoping all are well.

Not much going on here and that's a good thing I think. I am settling down to watch Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban....One of my favorite "Harry" movies.....Okay. I confess, I have a thing for Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) !! But I love all the Harry movies and books also !! Still looking at pictures and vidoes on my iPod of Ivy and crying.... Whoever would think a little 12 pound pup could leave this big of an impact ?? I just hope she is well now...

((((Hugs))))) Everyone ESPECIALLY Ella, Harlowe, Snickers, Gomez, Chico, Victor, Scooby, Sasha, Pocket, Penny, Snowball, and all furkids everywhere xo

XMas - How is Milo ?? xo

He is still eating very little, but he is okay, still very weak though. The vet won't return our calls for some reason, when we call to see what else we can do.

Hello everyone, it's been months since I was on the forum.....so I thought I'd pop in and get some Christmas spirit! It's been very busy around here--my youngest daughter moved to Indiana last Tuesday, and we've been doing a lot to get her ready. Now I have time to sit around and feel sorry for myself . But I need to stop right away! Hope everyone's doing well...

(of course, the clouds of cigarette smoke do not seem to bother her at all !)

My wife has a cousin who was/is? a vegetarian, and they use to preach how healthy it was not eating meat, yet they would go outside and light up a cigarette or 2. It always made me so mad when they would tell us how unhealthy we were. People who live in glass houses...

It's not in stores---but you can get it from Amazon or Tisano's website. Just got my second tin of it today! You'll need a tea ball or infuser, or just strain out the shells.

Okay, thanks for the info. Since I am such a big coffee drinker, maybe I will stink with that for now, since I have to get all of that. Can I get anything like that for my Keurig do you know? I am sure I could just google it myself I'm sure...

Maybe that could be a Christmas gift though!

Good afternoon,

Another long day at work today, we are one person short, yet they keep expecting us to get more done than we could on a Saturday when we have plenty of staff. Enough of that. I have my day off tomorrow, probably have to mow the lawn it is a little long right now. Probably watch a movie tonight.

Enjoy your evening.

Sugar - I haven't been on in a few days. I am getting the feeling you have been sick ?? ......I hope you are feeling better.....xo

Yea, I had the crude the past couple of days, but am starting to feel better. Thanks for thinking of me! Hope all is well with you and all the furbabies.

Well the launch was aborted, so back to sleep I go. They'll try again tuesday morning.

That's a bummer. Hopefully they can launch on Tuesday.

I still have back pains so it's difficult walking.
So I just have to stay in, and take things slowly...

I sure hope you feel better soon and I will be saying prayers for you!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a hot one here in central Indy with a high of 86 degree's today. So most of my day will be spent watching Indy 500 qualifying and then the nascar race in front of the air conditioner. The first thing I have to do though is run to the grocery store to get some snack foods for tonight since my cousin is coming over to watch the race. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy your evening with your cousin! Sounds fun!

Morning, gang. I have an announcement to make.......

There are no more school related items on my agenda. I will be home every night this week (first time since Christmas). No ballgame duty, no ceremonies, no banquets....nothing. Just me and the wifey....and I plan on absolutely spoiling her with my presence (or cursing her...depend on how you look at it). We have four days of school left, but all testing days. I have been in high gear planning next year because I want to be able to get a list of important summer dates out before we leave.

I'm so relaxed right now, I didn't realize the tension and pressure that had built up over the past several months. The coffee is good, the martins are flying, the breeze is blowing.....and Bing Crosby is singing White Christmas on iTunes....and now I'm going to twitterize MMC....

Good for you, Ballcoach. You totally deserve that time, especially with your wife. Enjoy every moment of it!

If all joking aside or not, I have a cover on truly on. I am almost always covered up. It's 79 out here and we have our central air on (I think DH had it from the hotter days last week) and I am covered up. Always am. I'm always cold with the central air.

Good to hear from you, Anne! That's great to hear about your daughter. That just means you did another wonderful thing as a mother and helped her grow into the right direction. Hope you're doing well. All is well here!

I'm sitting right below the window A/C and I have it set at 58 degree's which is the lowest it will go. So I really do have a cover on. I'll have to turn it off here soon though because my cousin and his wife probably won't like it that cold in here.
