I second what Xmastidings said and the poem from MC. You won't believe it, but the weather changed here. Right now I have on a sweatshirt jacket with the hood on!!! (Having no hair can make you cold!!!) It is a glorious day outside in the sunshine, almost like an early fall day with a gentle breeze! What a pleasant surprise!

it has gotten very hot here, temp is 30c but the humidity is making it feel like 37c (98f)!

Schools out for summer!!!!!!

Good evening everyone!!! I took a shower when I got home from work,now it is so hot outside I feel like I need another one!!!summer is here folks!!one step closer to Autumn!!!

I know the feeling! I have to take multiple showers during the summer. Toooo hot!

Congrats on your new car. My parents bought a Toyota 10 years ago and it's still a great running car. It's so good that Wayne and I just bought one a few months ago.

Well... My Ipod wound up dying anyway. I don't know what happened. It was nearly clear of any water on the screeng but when I tried it today......DEAD.....I guess corrosion got to it......

I don't think even a genius could get it back.....If I only had an idea it was going to die I would have transferred the video files of Ivy and Hermione when she was a baby. Unless there is some way to get data from a nonfunctioning Ipod those files are lost....Oh well.

I sure hope you can get your video files transferred! I know you have some help on this but I will also ask my son if he knows of anything that you can do.

Another long day, I am heading to sleepytown very soon. 2 more days and I have 2 days in a row off, we may head to Six Flags on Sunday, and do some heavy duty grilling on Monday, I've got some babyback ribs calling my name from the freezer.

I use to go to Six Flags every year since I was 4 years old and even had season passes one year. It's been almost 5 years since I been. Sounds like a blast. Have a great time!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day today, today was a wonderful day for my baby bear today is her birthday! She had her favorite for dinner, chicken added to her kibble.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be a hot and sticky day here in central Indy with a high near 90 degrees and 80% humidty. I don't have much planned for today. I'm watching the spacex dragon capsule berth with the ISS right now on nasa tv. Once this is over I need to run to the grocery store and then I think the whole family is going out to dinner tonight. I guess I should also call my sister's and wish them a happy birthday too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We don't get the NASA station anymore and that was my dad's favorite station! Lucky you!

Gray and dreary outside again today ... where's the summer sunshine? I even wore a Hawaiian shirt today, but it didn't bring the sun out. (Maybe I scared it away.) I'll even settle for some of the summer heat you folks have been getting if I can get some sunshine with it. It's supposed to be hot tomorrow---maybe some sun will come with it. Good weekend to put in the air conditioners.

I will trade you our 90+ temps with you!!!! My A/C is going full blast today! =)

And also, as a veteran, let us not forget all of those who have fought to help preserve our freedoms and are still keeping us safe every day! I say "Thank you"!

I didn't realize this would make nationwide news but did you all hear about the lady who had a 56 lb tumor removed? I know her and her family and talk to them often. She use to watch my kids for me when they were little while I worked. I knew she was having surgery and stayed in touch with them but had no idea it was a large tumor like this!

I am so thankful she is okay now. She is the sweetest lady I ever met and my kids JUST ADORE her! She was the best child care provider I ever had for my kids. I would try to pay her and she never took the money. She had me make checks out to a Bible fund instead of making them out to her, so that's what I did and gave it to her to forward it. I had actually got in touch with her to watch my grandchildren on occasions but she was in a lot of pain. No wonder!!!! Several doctors thought it was a hernia!

Time to own up to my absence, decided i should "man-up".. Obviously you all know That I haven't sent out my christmas cards still... Can you believe it! Cause I can't. I still intend to get them out, Whenever i get some extra $. Last couple months have been financially strained to say the least.. but luckily my wonderful DB was hired at his new job, started monday.. So hopefully bills etc. will be caught up and I'll be able to send out Your guyses cards!! I missed it here badly, but, being my silly self.. I was and still am so embarassed that I didn't send the cards.. that I strayed away from the site. Please do forgive me for not sending them yet hahaa... but seriously, i am so Sorry Hopefully you all won't be receiving two cards this christmas.. (ha-ha.. )

Good night everyone! I meant to be on here more today,but I have been outside working since 8 am....putting in a new irrigation system in yard. it's dry and we need rain so bad,and it's been HOT today high was 95 with heat index at 110F...anyway I got A nice tan from the bright sun at least and since I will be at the beach this weekend at tybee Island for my reunion I imagine I will come back about 10 shades darker. I never usually burn since I am really dark anyway. I will be MIA from here this weekend although I will take my laptop I may be on here some but if i am not I hope everyone has a great Holiday weekend.
