Christmas Countdown - 2012

Sooooo, today I was at our local Kohl's Department Store and they had teams of new employees touring the store. They were instructing them on "holiday" set up and how important it is to maintain their departments and replenish stock. I thought to myself...wow, it can't be far away at all!

Christmas merchandise will start rolling (slowly) into the backrooms of stores next month. cheesy

Good evening, Christmas family !

Just getting ready to call it a night. I watched the NBA finals tonight. The Miami Heat won and you know what ? I am GLAD ! So many people here in Ohio HATE LeBron James because he left the Cavs. I feel it is his life and he had the right to go. I am GLAD The Heat won ! He has been trying for so long....anyway, just my thoughts....

So glad it is technically FINALLY FRIDAY.. Only one more day and then off for two....The shift I am on gets harder every day. Still not editing. I only got to edit just that one day and then they pulled it because of "glitches"... To be honest it would not bother me at all if those "glitches" were permant.....

I am glad a cool front is coming...UGH. Going out to get the mail has been AWFUL.....Plus I can't wait for Christmas in July and the Hallmark Ornaments hooray !!!!!

Hi Merry ! I hope you are having a wonderful time ! I only got to edit one day before glitches closed it down. It will be back I just dont know when. It was okay. I guess I will only be editing radiology and that is fine....I only have one shortcut to learn that way !

Please give Gloria my personal regards and tell her I admire her so much !! There are no beautiful voices like hers today !! She is truly a clasically talented lady !!

Lots of rain, but a wonderful day with Gloria and Suki and Pumpkin, who's a big Kitty now.

I think the glitches happened as a blessing to give you a little more time to prepare!

I'll give Gloria your message--- she'll love to hear it. I saw a book of Hawaiian paper dolls and thought of you.

You'll be glad to know back home in Massachusetts we had a heat index of 106* this afternoon. That rain would feel nice right about now. Enjoy your vacation

I'll send some of it your way! We're around 80F here, about 8 degrees cooler up the mountain where Gloria lives. Very humid, though---tropical.

I am so ready for the weekend...

I went to Michaels yesterday, and they had two aisles of Fall. That made me smile!!

My friend & I are going to Hobby Lobby tomorrow after work to check out their Christmas In July Didn't CAH say that they had 8 aisles of Christmas out already in Texas?! That's awesome. We probably won't be quite that lucky...but one can dream!!

MerryCarey- enjoy your vacation w/ Mr.!! The coconut tea sounds so good..

It is hot again here in northern California, almost too hot to eat anything! I have a blood test tomorrow morning to make sure my blood keeps getting built back up for the next round of chemo on Monday.

MC, the coconut tea sounds sort of sweetish (not Swedish). Is that the case? Tell Gloria hi!

Xmas, that is so wild about JP! I can only imagine what he will be like as he gets older!

Gotta go. We are headed out for an overnight trip to Redding.

A nice, quick rain yesterday cooled things off a bit in the afternoon but it's still humid, humid, humid!

Good morning my Christmas family!

Its a cool..wait whats that??? a cool morning! That heat wave was horrible! Yesterday we went to the daycare bbq. Well. We pulled up in the van and it started coming down with a lot of rain, and thunder. We waited and waited and finally it slowed down. We ran to the covered shelter and on the way it started coming down again. I was soaked! We had a nice bbq and there were a lot of kids. Tonight after work we are driving down to Windsor. Man its a busy summer. Makes it fly by! Its almost Christmas in July too! The other day William was singing some song about Christmas. I think it was jingle bells but I couldn't be sure, since he stopped when he saw I was watching him haha. Well tomorrow I see my Uncle. I haven't seen him in over 10 years. Should be interesting end emotional. Time to go! Hope everyone has a good day and a great weekend. Ill be back on Sunday!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a little bit cooler here today with a high of 85 degree's. I forgot a few things at the grocery store yesterday so I'm going to head back there this morning. I also need to run to Walmart to see if my dream from last night has come true. I dreamed that they had all of their Christmas stuff out and even had Christmas music playing over the radio in June. It was great. So I'm hoping it was some kind of sign.:lol: I doubt it though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

A local news station was showing people being made up for a Halloween haunted house this morning! They are having a one day thing this weekend, I guess as a test run.

DD has been in art camp this week & has a performance this afternoon, she is a hippie. She has DH's creative side, so she's good with art, dancing, etc.

Now that I'm caught up with all of the laundry from last week's vacation, I hope to be able to do some Christmasy stuff tomorrow. Maybe listen to Pandora and/or watch some movies.
