Merry Christmas in July, everyone!

I'm listening to Christmas music all day today. And I'll be watching a Christmas movie on Netflicks tonight. Tomorrow's a special day for me--it marks six years since I had my cardiac arrest and nearly died. (In one way, I did "die"--at least my heart stopped beating and the defib had to be used.) Now I celebrate the day, because I consider all the time since a gift! Then Saturday's our anniversary, and three weeks after that is my birthday. Big doings! And the start to my personal Christmas countdown. Hope everyone has a great day today, doing something special for CIJ!

Long night at work, the last 2 hours seemed to last forever. On my way home from work, I saw a house all lit up with C7 lights, I drove by it last week there was no lights up but it brought a smile on my face. Back to work bright and early.

Hey all! Been watching NFL coverage all afternoon. I'm pretty excited because I love NFL football....

Long day at work today....going to be a long few days as I am having to leave Sunday night to go out of town for a few days....I don't want to leave, but my boss is insisting that I need to go to the conference and get away from the school.

Well, off to enjoy the Pines....hope everyone has a Merry Christmas in July!

Good Morning, Post-'Pines Friends.
(And from the early reports, it appears a good time was had by all at our friendly site resort.)

But onward we must move, without delay.

And thus we once again present the daily count:
Days to the Season: 110
Days to Christmas Day: 152
And it's as plain as the nose on Carl's face that as of tomorrow we will be down to SINGLE DIGITS to our next Milestone, the 100-day Season marker. After which, our Season count will be down to double digits and an ever accelerating pace on to November 13, the official begining of Christmas Season 2012!

It was a tad cooler here yesterday with no rain and I took advantage of the situation to get the lawn mowed.
The temps should be back up again today with the ever-present humidity.
We currently show 76.4 degrees here on our handy-dandy digital thermometer.

With the peak-of-the-week now past, we shall coast through a Thrilling Thursday today and on to Weekend Eve tomorrow.

wow, what a storm rolled through last night! I was up for over an hour. Loud thunder, bright lightening power off and on several times.

We had a few good storms, too, last night, but did not lose power. I had to get up and reassure Mouse and Palmer ~ Bo had to have a light on as he is scared of lightning.

Thursday hello! We're expecting strong storms later in the day---they're even mentioning the T word (and I don't mean "thunder"). I hope it doesn't get as bad as that.

Still working on the scratchy throat. It's no better, but it's no worse, either. So maybe I'm doing something right.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be another hot one today here in Central Indy but at least we have a chance of rain later this afternoon. I don't have much on the agenda for today. Just laundry and going over the grocery ads. So maybe I'll find something christmasy to do. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!
