My marquee is still up. we live at the bottom of a mountain and we get all the wind christmas is the same i have a lot of trouble with the airblowns am gonna try and get done this year but i say that every year and then gemmy bring some nice ones out and thats me .

Weather this morning is nice a little warm the sun is out but gives some rain later.
Hoping all furbabies is good.scobby is nudging at my arm to get my attention so am typing with 1 finger lol
Right must go and get a lot more done. i have a lot of food to pre-cook and pasta and salad to make and another poo up gazabo to put up for the food part

142 days til Christmas.....the time is sure running...Kandice will start school in August 14th....9 days later our big Volksfest, the Backfischfest (biggest Winefest at the Rhine) starts....and usually when that is over....or even during it (it takes 9 days)....the stores start putting out Christmas chocolates and cookies and such....lol.....people seem to be buying it...otherwise I doubt the stores would put it out.......I dont buy it...not so much into sweet stuff anyways...but I sure loooooooove to look at it!!!!

Good Morning, Folks.

Here we are again - at the start of another Weekend. First weekend in the month of August.
Which is right before September, which is the month in which we launch the Christmas Blossoms thread, the first real sign that Christmas Season 2012 is nearing.

Here's another sign:
Days to the Season: 101
Days to Christmas Day: 143
And there you have it - we stand on the threshhold of an important Milestone.
One that will see us arrive at a double digit count to the Season, after which things start to move more quickly.
Wow!

Our weather is more or less stuck in a rut. The same heat and humidity with an occasional rain storm.
But I guess that's par for the course at this time of the year.
We show 76 degrees here, currently.

Good evening, Christmas family

I am officially done with my old company. Still uncertain about the future with my new company but I do know I HAD to leave my old one........So far I am really pleased with my new company's response to things plus if I have concerns, I can speak with the owner herself and she is a NICE lady!! I will never forget, one time at my old company I had a migraine during my shift. I called to tell them I could not keep typing because of the migraine and the owner got on the phone and pretty much TOLD ME I could not call off because they were behind..... I had vacation and PTO but I guess they were just for show.. Needless to say I typed the rest of that evening with the migraine....I am sure not my best work. But that is over now.

Had another major, MAJOR disagreement with my husband today which is pretty much the ordinary around here so I am a tad down tonight but this is not the time or place to talk about it. My kids are here and they love me and I can't think of a more precious gift xo

I am off to watch HP 7 Deathly Hallows pt 2. Harry always cheers me up.

Praying for your FIL Solice xo And also for you Seawaters and MG Ramsey I have not forgotten your mom xo Praying for you Brad and your friend, Gail and Made your niece is in my prayers still also.

I am up way too late, you guys were busy today. I have to head back to work tomorrow A.M. I have been told a new position is opening up at work, and one of my bosses felt I am most ready to take it if I was interested, it's a lot more responsibility and a significant raise, but I don't know if I am interested in it, I have to think about it.

Rite Aid was putting there Halloween candy out when I picked up my Rx today, WOOOHOOO!

Wayne and I are heading to the lake this morning to take a walk. I love going there on Saturdays, it is so crowded and fun to watch everyone going by on their bikes, roller blades, even funny looking bikes that I don't know what they are called but you kind of lay down when you ride it and we even see unicycles! I love seeing all the dogs out there walking!!! I wish I could bring mine but they are little chihuahuas and they have never done well on long walks, we end up carrying them and they seem uncomfortable being carried for too long. I need to get them a stroller!

Then all of us at MMC can all head to Bernies and Bradmac can make us a Tofu Scramble with fresh fruit!

Wayne and I hope we can make it to that Christmas store today!

Good morning, MMC!

It is going to be a hot one here today, but it is supposed to cool down a bit for the next few days. Yay! I have lots to do today as tomorrow I am spending a good portion of the day canning peppers. I am going to do a lot of the prep work this evening while I listen to the Greasy Skillet. I also have to do paperwork for the store, but I don't think it will take me but an hour or so.

The littlest kitten, Bear, came running up the porch steps a bit ago. I gave her a can of kitten food as she refuses to eat crunchy food for kittens. She is so small and does not appear to be growing very fast, but she does seem to be doing a bit better. She is such a sweetie. If I didn't have Mouse, I would bring her in for company for Palmer. Mouse and Palmer are still at odds with each other. Yesterday Mouse was upset because Palmer had her toys all over the place. My brother had been playing with her and so she had seven paper balls, a couple of cardboard tubes, her plastic holly leaves (she loves those - definitely my cat ) and several jingle balls in Mouse's favorite walking spots. Mouse took a violent swipe at one of the jingle balls so I asked her if she wanted to play and she gave me an earful. It was kind of comical listening to her complain about all the toys. I guess she finally reached her tolerance limit. Needless to say, the toys are all put away or disposed of and peace is reigning once more in the house.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy and it looks like we may get some strong storms later tonight. My friends are going to be here in a few minutes so we can get started on all of are prep work. Then we have to go shopping and I think we are going to go visit a few of our other friends.
