good afternoon all! it's a gloomy hot sunday..and I decided to make tres Leches cake like my mom always made,it's super easy but boy is it sweet...it turned out good,and we ate hoogies for lunch..I skipped church and stayed home with the baby. So getting ready for yet another work week.hope all of you are doing great!

One of my favorites too, the best wing I ever had was in Chicago, I can't remember the name of the restaurant, but they were big, drenched in sauce, and crispy, the hotter the better. When I was a dish washer at a restaurant during high school I use to challenge the cook to make them as hot as he could and see if I could handle them. I always won. Some day I plan on going to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo and have them at the place they were invented. Hmmm, Maybe on the way to Bronner's some day.

I can stand them pretty hot too, but I must admit, I have cried like a baby before with a few batches.

hello everybody!

had an awful fright earlier on, daughter's arm came out of her socket, had to take her to the hospital, she was in so much pain, it was heartbreaking to see. thankfully it's all better now, but aren't your kids the most precious thing? makes me physically sick when she hurts herself badly or is really unwell.

was hoping you could have a look at a thread i made, i need some advice for this coming christmas!

Well, we just went to go see the trains and doesn't it rain. DH looked at the radar map and it's supposed to rain for the next hour on and off. It kind of worked out though. DS was getting fussy and when we brought him the kids back in the house, he laid down for nap.

I guess when he gets back up, we will try again!

There is one wing place around here called Quicky's they have a sauce called DOA it is hot, I ate 6 wings from them and it was HOT!!!! The hottest wings I ever had were from a place that has long been closed, you use to have to sign a waiver before eating them. I ate 1 wing and that was it. I have never had anything hotter.

There is a place not to far away from us called Edaville Railroad in Carver, MA, it is a little amusement park built on a cranberry bog. http://www.edaville.com/index.html We went there a few years ago for A day Out With Thomas, but they have cool train rides out to see the cranberry harvest, and a train ride during December to see a great Christmas display.

I've heard of the Edaville Railroad and their Christmastime rides, but I've never been there myself.

I guess it is extremely popular, and this year they are doing The Polar Express train ride. It is a bit pricey also.
