Good afternoon,

Just sitting here watching The Three Stooges movie, I do have to say it is rather disappointing. I still feel so tired, just relaxing now. I did get something from Comcast today that says we will be getting the Music Choice channels will be available on the basic package come September, I am thrilled we will be having the Christmas Music Choice channels on our TV's that don't have the DVR.

That's the one I always listen to! Love it.

I have had trouble in the past with the Live 365, MMC Christmas radio and I still cannot get onto the site, it keeps telling me that it is for VIP members only... I was listening to the MMC Podcasts earlier, (which I Love), my hats off to Mr. Westover, and others, for putting them together!!!!

It makes me Happy, Happy, Happy, just like "Bing Crosby tap dancing with Danny (fantastic) kaye"....lol "just had to throw that in there"....

I tend to pay the lump sum ~ I'm pretty frugal and save. I figure I can earn some interest on it if I keep it until I get my taxes done.

How about going to a newspaper or television station?

I'm afraid to here... Retaliation & revenge, etc. Such senseless & scary crimes. Plus, I've contacted animal control anonymously here. I don't want to make enemies, especially w/ being alone on a regular basis while Adrian is away on business. I'm also afraid that someone would hurt Harlowe to get to us. The vets never figured out why or how Harlowe got so sick last year, she could have been poisoned.

Also, the news media wouldn't even help my friend Jason, when his service dog was stolen...

I really don't live in a very kind town, unfortunately.

Great idea...unfortunately, already tried that w/ the dogs next door. Repeatedly.. I took pictures of them & their lack of shade, shelter, food, and water. They also tied two dogs together by their collars! Took photos of that, as well. They choked each other when one would run the opposite way. Nothing phased our animal control...they gave warnings, and on their reports, noted that conditions improved when they didn't. I then called the police, and they wouldn't do anything, said it needed to be handled by animal control. Shameful!

I appreciate your suggestions, though.

Urghh ... when "public servants" can't be bothered to actually serve the public ...

I want to add that they didn't expect Granny to live long, but she survived longer than 10 years. There was no way we would have sent her to a "home."
Also, can you guess who cried the loudest at the funeral? Of course it was my aunt, uncle, and cousins who hardly even visited--and they lived less than five miles away!!!

That is the way it ALWAYS is I swear !! God bless you and yours for taking care of grandma. One of my regrets is that when My mother needed me I could not move her in. I had to work and couldn't give her the attention she needed......I wished then and still wish now I could have taken care of her.

I have to tell you that my first week held a surprise for me. My principal felt it was her right to call my doctor to "get additional information" about my ability to return to work EVEN THOUGH I had his letter stating such! I told her that she could not do that without my permission, but she would not listen. I told the union rep that I will soon seek the advice of an attorney!

This just isn't right !! That is YOUR information, not hers !!! GRRRRRRRRR

Hi from NE England everyone - Hope you are all doing well...

Even though it is still August I have started to notice that the nights are drawing in - getting dark by 9pm now...

I personally cant wait for the clocks to go back in a few weeks...thats when we will really begin to look forward to the season - I find it difficult when it is warm (well as warm as it get here!) and it is still light at 10pm to really feel the spirit!

Just in the office listening to festive Dean Martin, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra tracks on YouTube - it was quite amusing the other day when someone in the office walked past my desk and asked "Is that REALLY christmas music you're listening too through your headphones in August?"....I just gave them a knowing smile!

I really wish I could spend more time on here with you all - I do try and pop by whenever I can...rest assured I am wishing nice wishes for you all!
