Just enjoying some music before bed, a little bit of everything, Christmas music, The Move, whatever I want to hear right now. Just saw on the news they are expecting temps to drop to the mid-40's tomorrow night. Brrrr before the Bers! Late work night tomorrow, first day of school for JP, busy morning ahead of me to get the boys out on time.

My thoughts are with all of those in the path of Hurricane Isaac, stay safe.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, we really got some rain yesterday! My yard is still under water. I guess that means the bahiagrass will jump up 12" today.

Nancy took her mom to the doctor yesterday. Mrs. Hilda said she'd had some chest & back pains the night before. Since my, ah, issue last month, everyone is very aware of chest pains these days! Luckily, it seems her gall bladder is giving her some trouble. The doctor didn't find any other problems and can handle this without difficulty, thank goodness. Nancy was on the verge of a nervous breakdown at the mention of chest pains.

I think I have a Wal-Mart run in my schedule tonight. Keep me in your thoughts!

Good nice and cool morning to everyone!

Well. We are soon to say goodbye August and into, as others say it, the ber months. September! Oh WELCOME September! Cooler nights, sun setting earlier and more. Ok must calm down. Getting too excited at work hehe. I still take my iphone with me in case I need to take a quick holiday picture to share with you all! The tree across the street here is starting to change colors! About 10 leaves on the corner of it so far. Going to go to Kingsville this weekend to visit Dad. Should be fun. This week is just dragging along. Carl said he has a special "Back to the future" blend coffee for me to skip ahead to the weekend. We will see. He better not want me to drink it at 88mph (haha). Also Carl has a special Christmas door knocker for all of us! Something to do with a talking Camel. Hmmmmm.

FINALLY!!!!! After a 3 year pay raise freeze at work I got a raise today, and a pretty darn good one too!!! More than I expected!!!! They like me they really like me!!!

Well, the remainder of the hurricane is due to get here tomorrow evening....just in time for the football game. I hate games and rain, but the kids sure do love it. I just wish the field could be good and muddy, not everywhere else. Oh well, maybe it won't rain...I need to be more of an optimist!

I'm heading to work! Be good...and if you can't be good then be good at it (momma always says that)

Must be an Ontario thing...still waiting for mine too. I have my own mailbox in Port Huron now so if all else still fails they can be mailed there.

Good morning, Christmas friends. Three of the surrounding counties have been declared disaster areas due to the fires that have been burning lately. The smoke really affected a lot of people, in addition to the monetary damage. Hopefully, things will begin to calm down before we enter the real fire season! Have a great day, everyone!

The uphill climb has yielded the summit of the week and another visit to Carl's Place, AKA The Shispering Pines.
How nice to take a break at mid-week and visit our favorite site resort, enjoy a fired twinkie or two washed down be a glass of sweet southern iced tea all while being entertained by the funniest Camel this side of Saudi Arabia.

There's no telling what might happen should there be a gap in the count.

good morning y'all, My MC peeps!

hope y'all feel bright eyed & bushy tailed this a.m.:give:

i'm going into work in a bit, just wanted to stop in for a few.

1 &1/2 weeks into the school year & baby girl (16, but still my baby) is sick already. this happens every year but not usually so early in. for a few days now she's been saying she didn't feel good & was cold all the time. she came home yesterday, in 90 degree heat, & put on a hoody, sweat pants, & slippers saying she was freezing. last night after i went to sleep, hubby told me, she got sick & was throwing up. i tried to get her up this morning but instead i just gave her some meds & put her back to bed. i get off @ 1 today & we may end up @ the dr.'s office.

SOLICE, i hope today finds you better....if not, like cm3 asked- is it possible for you to go to a doctor? get well my friend!

Enjoying the quiet right now, well not totally quiet, I have a Christmas music video DVD playing right now. I just really wanted to hear something Christmassy and not have to search on Youtube for it. I have to leave for work in less than 90 minutes, but I got my next 3 days shirts pressed and ready to go. I actually have Saturday & Sunday off this upcoming weekend, work Monday at time and a half, and then have Tuesday off.

It is POURING down rain here.. Honestly, Our summer is over. Once the sun disappears for more then 3 days at the end of august, our town collectively knows it's time to pack in the shorts and Bikinis. In fact, Friday i'm going to look for fall stuff

Today has been a delightful day, Left work early due to me being sick as a dog, But.. also had my one year performance appraisal (month early.. dunno why they do that) & got 4/5 overall.. with a 40cent raise! I was very pleased, my Manager had nothing but good things to say...Made me feel really appreciated!! On that note, I applied to be a department manager in the store, in Health & Beauty & in Crafts and Domestics! I am praying I get either one.. i'm nervous they think I'm too young, but I think if they give me a chance I will Surprise them!! c'mon wally world, have some faith in me!

Good evening, Christmas family.

The job has been going super well !! If I just knew I was going to be able to afford working there. I see the tax man tomorrow. I am taking tomorrow off and I don't even have to ask anyone !!! I keep feeling like I need to let someone know but I keep reminding myself that as long as I meet the lines I agreed to produce (I already have for this two weeks) that nobody minds one way or the other when I work. I will still work Thursday and Friday but tomorow is a much needed day to NOT type.

Praying for all in the path of that horrible storm.......As a believer, I keep envisioning Jesus in the path of the storm calming it as He did in the boat with his disciples on the Sea of Galilee.....I always think, meteorologists say what the weather is going to do but they do NOT control it..........So I am praying for all concerned.

I am very, very tired so I guess I will get my furkids and turn in.

Made - I am so sorry about your neighbors. I will ad extra prayers for them. I wanted to tell you - AWESOME job on "What is Santa Doing in August" !!! You are always so creative....Wish I was like that !! xo

My Hermione is now 9 months old.......Where does time go......?? She is quite a girl. Wish is still doing well even though he turned 16 at the beginning of this month.
