I'm here ... I've been flat-out with a virus since Sunday. It's a super-cold with headaches and fatigue and other TMI "delights." The symptoms are getting out of my system, but I'm still wobbly. They've got a temp covering for me at the office, and I'm planning to go back to work Friday.

Today is my son's birthday. How can he be 15 years old?!? It seems like it was yesterday. I wish he were still small enough for me to walk around with on my shoulders, but times change. I'm very proud of the young man he's growing to be, though. He's a good boy.

Brad, I'm telling you man, hold on while you can.... It's just exactly like the tire swing commercial (Bammmm -it hits you), life comes at you fast and before you know it, they will be telling you things like for example, with me last night.

As I'm sitting on the couch, trying to watch a movie, my son comes home (he will be 20 in November) and he say's, hey Dad, guess what, I'm dating this girl that 22 years old!!!! I'm like, great.....Just what I need to hear and now worry about.... I quickly looked over and my wife was already looking at me with that (you handle this look; you'll know what that look is after you been married for so long...) I just told him to remember all the things that I have taught him and talked to him about.....

My wife was just telling me last night at dinner (we were out celebrating our 20 year wedding annivarsary), to be careful, that there is a really wicked/ nasty virus going around and that there is alot of people coming into the ER sick. She was telling me to keep hand sanitizer at my desk and use it....

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is my son's birthday. How can he be 15 years old?!? It seems like it was yesterday. I wish he were still small enough for me to walk around with on my shoulders, but times change. I'm very proud of the young man he's growing to be, though. He's a good boy.

We're having hotwings and pizza tonight for him...his favorite! More turkey for me. :lol:

Happy b-day to your son. It is amazing how fast it goes. When does he get his learner's permit to drive? Wait until next year and he goes on your auto insurance. Ours doubled in cost.

My son is now a junior in HS and dating our Pastor's daughter who happens to be a freshman in college. He turns 17 in November. They have known each other since my son was 4. I wish I could make him 4 years old again.

Greetings friends! It's been awhile so I wanted to stop by and say hello. So nice to get caught up on all the excitement. I have had an amazingly busy summer. My son was here from Montreal for a few weeks in August. We had such a great visit. It gets harder and harder to seperate at the airport. Have a great rest of the week everyone.
