There you are! We were just speculating about where you went. Glad to have you back!

Apparently all we have to do is mention his name and he will show up. cheesy

tgif everyone! Hard to believe it is the 22nd day of the new school year...but who is countin right? It's are second game of the season tonight..the weather is still hot here, but looking to cool down over the weekend some...maybe in a month we should get a good shot of fall weather..Ihope everyone is doing great. It's almost fall!

It's good to see you Dawg!!!!

I know last week, we had some problems with the server being attacked. So that might be happening again.

Oh great! That's just lovely... Here we are, we have something thats nice, easy to use, friendly and does nothing to harm anyone or anything and some idiot(s) (please, excuse my passion/ frustration here) either created something (a progam, software, spam) or they themselves is trying to hurt/ disrupt a perfectly fantastic website that we have here... I wish we could turn that around on them and fry their system with some sort of 24th century technology; (right Brad? lol)

When people ask me my favorite season I usually answer two ways. For those who are only engaging in small talk I tell them fall which was my grandfathers favorite time of year. The real answer isn't marked by the calendar as much as it is the weather. My favorite time of year begins when the first significant cold front swings through the area in September and removes the humidity. That usually happens in mid Sept. and this year it is happening here Sat. night. Waking up Sunday will put me into a great mood. Since I love Christmas and like January, my favorite time of year usually ends the second of the last week in Jan. when Christmas decorations are down, the annual family weekend trip to the mountains for fun in the snow ends and when my workload picks up & I am working later so there is very little free time to spend with my family in the evening before my little girls are down asleep.

Anyway, less than two days before the best time of the year for me begins.

We sure miss her, but we understand how time and life get in the way, especially with those sweet grandbabies of hers! By the way, have you noticed how young she looks to have grandkids?

Oh I almost forgot. CAH said to tell you all HI!!!! She said that she would stop by but she just has so much to do and if she gets on here, she won't be able to get off.

I feel so much better. Even though the kids' behavior was not very good yesterday, I still had a good day at work and got lots of work done myself. Well, I got the work done after the students left after school. LOL!

My favorites are fall and winter because I love Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I, too, love the change in weather. I think the only season that I really do not like is summer. It just gets so hot here in northern California that it is almost suffocating. And with all the fires around us this year, it was quite unbearable!

Friday hello ... back at work, luckily it's been a slow day so far, 'cause I'm still trying to work the last of the bug out of my system. And we get free pizza today for lunch because the new building owner's contractor messed up this week and set off the sprinkler system on the second floor, setting off the fire alarm and forcing our office on the fourth floor to evacuate for a couple hours. So, to make up for it, they're sending in pizzas for our lunch today. And I can enjoy this weekend instead of being sick in bed!

We need some "elves with attitude" software to zap any attackers ... it could turn everything on the attacker's computer red and green and replace all their MP3s with Christmas music ...

Please, everyone who prays please, please, please pray for my uncle's dog. My uncle considers his two dogs his children. They just found out that his dog has cancer and he is only a few years old.

This is such a sad night - we truly need a miracle. He has been sick for a few weeks and they couldn't find out what was wrong. He won't eat unless someone feeds him and he won't even bark anymore.

Awe! This is so sad. Prayers going up!

Wow!!! We are a little ahead of that pace.

Hee hee! Just a little!!

I would move there!!!! It reminds me of "Georgetown, CO" in the movie "The Christmas Gift" w/ John Denver.

I just light (or lit?) the fireplace, it's so cold here.
Well, it's 9c (48.2f) not SO cold, but cold enough for me...

I just sit here listening to the sparkling ♥

Awe....that sounds great!!!! ENJOY!!!!

Good morning! Happy Friday everybody! Like many others, our temps are going down for the weekend! Supposed to have a high of 70º tomorrow & 72º on Sunday, but the # that gets me is the low for Sunday night....49...FORTY NINE!!! I'm not sure that I'm ready to see temps starting with the number 4 just yet!!! I want to enjoy the 50 somethings 1st! BUT I will drink my morning coffee & enjoy the brisk air!!!!

I hope you all have a fun weekend planned! I need to try to get back on here over the weekend (we are heading to the lake) b/c it's so hard to get caught up on Monday w/ you bunch of jabber boxes if I don't. Hee hee! ;)

Have a great weekend everybody!!!

My foot is KILLING ME !! My left third toe is swollen to twice its size, is warm and erythematous....Anyone know what that sounds like ?? I self-diagnosed it as psoriatic arthritis but I don't know. I just know it HURTS like the bee-jeebers. I can't even bend it because if I do it is agony.

Hope you are feeling better!
