Hey everyone!

I deeply apologize for disappearing on you. It was not something I planned. My mother had a stroke and I have had some heart problems. Everything is getting better now so I am able to resume somewhat of a normal life. I have missed you all! I hope everyone is well! I am so excited about the start of fall and all the wonderful holidays. This is the start of my favorite 4 months of the year! I look forward to celebrating them all with you.

I am sleepy tonight, the two boys just zap all energy out of us some nights. The "Christmasville" book I picked up today looks good, I thumbed my way through it and I come across a page and it was autographed by the author, personalized for a woman named Emily. I can't believe someone gave that away.

has anyone heard from jennifer about her uncle & his dog? i haven't been able to keep up lately.
the kids are planning a trip to "scarowinds" this friday evening. Carowinds is a big amusement park not far from here & @ halloween they turn it into "scarowinds" w/ some really wild stuff. i just hope daughter can handle it. the boys will watch her but sometimes they enjoy scaring her themselves.

And what's especially significant is that we are down to barely over half a week off from Milestone #15, the 100-day Christmas Day marker.
(Has this year gone by fast or what?)

This delicious weather is continuing, and is predicted to persist until Friday at least.
I'm really enjoying it and getting needed outside work done with vigor.
We show 58.4 degrees here currently on our handy-dandy digital backdoor thermometer.

Good Pinesday morning everyone!

On my way into the Pines, I was just showing Carl my Walmart Christmas light pictures. He then said he had a "Clark Griswold" of an idea. He is going to try and outdo Clarks "25,000 imported Italian twinkle lights". Well they better give extra power to the Pines this year!

Had a good evening. William went right to bed. It was almost too quiet. We went upstairs to bed and guess what. We found him sleeping in our bed! haha. Little stinker! Oh well. Our bed IS comfortable! I cant believe I found Christmas stuff in Walmart! Back seasonal items are some inflatable items and Christmas lights. I was the only one looking at the Christmas stuff but I didn't care. Made me very very happy! When I go back sometime this week I will take more pictures to share in the Christmas joy! Not much else new. Dad is feeling better and that's good. My 93 year old Grandmother is still going strong and still living in her own house! Well better get back to work. Hope to see you all at the Pines! Carl is giving away gingerbread houses with a little Carl inside the window! Yum Yum!

Good morning, everyone!

I am happy to join you on this Wednesday...yet another 'Pines Day! We've reached the midweek and shall be turning the corner to be closing in on the weekend momentarily. Great stuff! With the way the 'Pines is decorated, it appears that Carl thinks it already is the weekend. Carl knows how to put on a party!

We had practice last night at 8:30 under the lights. It was decent to watch. The unfortunate part is that there was four people injured with me on the sidelines. Yep. I'm blaming the lack of rain during the summer for the injuries. The grass was like playing on pavement for a month and a half. It definitely had its repercussions.

I'm not sure of my plans for tonight. Kim may be returning to Cornwall. Her sister is getting married on Saturday. Since I have to work, I will be joining her in Cornwall on Friday evening. Other than the gym, I don't have much planned. We'll see how it goes!

It's great to see that we're only four days away from our next milestone. I also noticed that we are down to 62 Days to the Christmas Season. And tomorrow is September 13th... That means tomorrow will be exactly two months away from the beginning of the Christmas Season! A mini-milestone celebration!

Well, I should return to work. I haven't done a whole lot yet this morning. Have a great Wednesday, everyone. See you at the 'Pines!

Ps. I was pleasantly surprised when db pointed out 15$ Christmas trees at Wally Mart last night!! also. It to mention, all week the back room smells of cinnamon... Bwahaha

Wednesday (Pinesday!) hello! Should be a busy day at the office for me ... a big brochure is headed for my desk. Another cool, sunny morning, and the sun should soon be sneaking across my desk from the skylight.

Big Happy Birthday to caninemom3! I hope you like chocolate!

Carl must be a mind-reader ... I was going to request gingerbread. When the cool fall weather begins, I start thinking about sugar-and-spice things like gingerbread and cinnamon tea.

Happy Weds everyone! It's not quite a coolish as yesterday was,it was 66F on the drive into work this morning. I just looked at the 12 day forecast and its going to warm back up too...not quite as hot as mid summer but very warm nontheless. Lows around 69F-70F highs in the low to mid 80's. oh well it's coming though closer and closer. tonight I am going to cook diiner which means throwing in the gormet pizza I picked up at city market...Weds is brandi's teacher/friends night and we all eat out with our spouces each weds and its our turn to host..I do like her friends they are just smart and the intellectual type..I do kind of feel out of place and dumb,luckily a few of the husbands are the same as me though and we kind of have our own talks going on. I hope everyone is having a good week!!! ttyl!

My late day is here once again, and I don't want to go. Woke up this morning and it was 40*f outside, nice and chilly! It will get up to the 80's today though. I can't wait to see all the Christmas stuff come into stores around here after seeing Undrtakr's pictures.
