UNDER a week now until our next Milestone, three-quarters-of-the-way-to-Christmas marker.
Incredible!

More rain yesterday, with an inch and a half falling in a short time.
Not overly cool, however, and the severe weather never materialized.
I read 65 degrees here, currently.

And Carl is really starting to get worked up as the holidays approach.
No telling what he might have planned for this evening.

Good morning and hello, MMC! How are you all feeling this morning? Sleep well?

I woke up a little bit earlier than usual because I was absolutely freezing! I looked at the weather app on my phone and it said the temperature was only 41 degrees. No wonder I was cold! We actually had to turn the heat on here, for the first time since last winter.

There's one good thing that comes with cold weather - Christmas!

I am seriously dying for Walmart to put out their Christmas stuff. They have all of the trees out, but they are up way high where no one can get to them yet. I need my cute wrapping paper! I already have money saved to get myself some decorations, lol, aren't I sad? Most people my age are like - "shoes!!!!" or "purses!!!" but I want Christmas things.

Off to get ready for my day! Have a good one!!!

Nice early fall morning here. Temp was 46 when I left for work. We slept with the windows up so it was a little cool in the house. The forecast high today is 66. Nice to see the 70 & 80s go away!

Awww...How is Buster doing ??

He is doing pretty good. His eye is a little better, maybe a little less red, but he doesn't act like it bothers him at all. He seems happy, the medication seems to have helped his allergies. He was happy to have me home yesterday with him! :grin: I just hope the medication helps enough that they won't need to remove his eye!

Childhood bestfriend's dad had a massive stroke. It doesnt' look too good. I try during these times to not look at the bad and that he may soon be taken from us, but rather I try to focus on why he was here....

Husband, father, grandfathers, Christian, friend, youth volunteer, business owner...and not too bad a golfer.

Add all those up=blessed life.

Good morning everyone! It was 70F on my drive into work this morning,a tad humid but today the forecast high is 90F! okay and this weekend highs are in the 90's ! I have had it with the 90's and even the 80's !!! I get aggrivated every year around this time because I am so ready for fall to come and it just seems like it's november before it does!! I will try to be more positive today things are going good with us...Brandi is approaching the end of pregnancy and she is tired at night when we get home...she will go on leave after oct 31st because the baby is duie Nov 16th...she plans to go back after Christmas break!! she is decorating her classroom for fall and halloween next weekend btw and she wants me to go in and help her so that will be fun!! I want everyone here to have a great late september day!!! yikes its kind of already LATE Sept!!! that makes me feel goood!! Talk to everyone later!

Enough of that for now. It's my late night, but I am scheduled to get out an hour earlier than usual, which is good news. I may get to the Pines a bit earlier, but that turkey coffee sounds frightening. I am surprised Carl didn't go with a coffee flavored with rum in honor of Pirate day. cheesy
I am going to enjoy my last 2 hours before heading out to the funhouse.

Wednesday hello ... gray and muggy here, but I think the sun is supposed to come out later. Not much to tell here. Did some recording this week on my audio project and started editing yesterday. Still plugging away on the clips for the Christmas DVD. Checking incoming mail-order catalogs for Christmas gifts.

Carl informed me he is decorating for Fall/Halloween with ....ummm...turkey coffee..? Wait. Carl. You serious? Yes? Oh...Ummmm ok. Hmmmm. That Carl is always doing something wacky!

I guess if Jones Soda can do a turkey-flavored soda, Carl can do a turkey-flavored coffee ...
I'm going to bring a box of Cinnamon Stick teabags.

That's wonderful! Like 'Dawg said, we're in the mid-80's this week, then back up to 90° this weekend. :-?

Good chilly morning!!!! It was 43º for our morning walk! Brrrrr...I actually broke out the cuddle duds! I couldn't remember... "what DO I wear for walking when it's 43º" :lol: I wasn't too warm with them on, that's for sure!!! Our house felt so chilly. It was 67º in there, which doesn't sound terrible, but it felt cold. I tried to light the (gas) fireplace, but couldn't get it to start. Bummer! If I would have been staying home this morning, I would have turned the furnace on, but it's back to work day....

Looking forward to the Pines today & whatever it is Carl will have to offer!!! :grin:

Good Morning Mates!!!! It's a chilly 51 degree's here in central Indy right now as we continue on our journey to a high of 64. I saw some pictures of frost on cars this morning on facebook but I slept in to late so I don't know if it hit here too. It really was a perfect night for sleeping. I opened the window, put the quilt back on my bed, and passed out. I haven't slept that good in a long time. Today I have to get back to fixing my neighbors van. Then I have to get all of the stuff I didn't get done yesterday done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
