yes yes you live on a farm.. we know... we know.... does Chad ride the horse with his blue shirt??

Chad isn't allowed on the horses. He has to ride the sheep.

Kerplunk it. Thats a technical term.

Okay, I've got to take my niece's home. I'll be back in a bit.

Does he still have his lit and get lit party? He hasn't talked about it in a couple of years.

Wayne and I took the baby squirrel to a Wildlife Rehab Center yesterday. It was really cool there. They had quite a few rescued bobcats, horses, dogs, cats, racoons and more. We got to tour around a bit. They even had one baby squirrel there and now that we brought another one, he has a friend. cheesy I thought the baby squirrel I had was not going to make it but he is doing very well, so glad of that!

We went to Walmart yesterday and they had a few aisle of Christmas goodies out, trees, lights, yard decor and more!

I got a full day today so going to try to read a bit of the Countdown before I go.

Have a Merry Day all!!!

That sounds like it would have been a wonderful experience. Seeing bobcats (somewhat) up close would have been neat! Good on you both for saving that squirrel's life, too!

A few aisles of Christmas goodies?! That is awesome! I can't wait to return to Walmart and further experience Christmas! Kim and I went to the Rideau Centre (the main mall in Ottawa) yesterday and didn't really spot anything Christmas. Oh well. At least I can expect that the Bay will have their catwalk Christmas decorations up in the next two weeks!

Yes, according to the Geneva Convention, they must be humane!

...

I should hope so...afterall, that's the right thing to do! Poor kids! hahaha =]

I am thinking of you. When your back hurts, it is hard to do your job. Do you know how you hurt it? Take care, and rest when you can.

hi there...i wish u guys a happy, happy sunday....the sun is out...the temperatures are not too low and not too high...it is a beautiful day......just that my back still has not really gotten better...at least the muscles pains are slowly going away...just that bad##s pain in the lower back is still there...whenever i move...I have no idea how to deliver tomorrow like this....just say a lil prayer for me...would You?

And when a sweet kid makes that kind of suggestion, it is hard to turn them down. Plus, it will definitely make you feel better.

Don't feel guilty. You really needed your sleep. Look at what all you have done this week!!!

I can't believe that I fell asleep. I was sitting there watching Chad and the next thing I know it's 3am. I never fall asleep while sitting up in a chair.

It was meant for you to rescue that squirrel, just so the other squirrel would have a friend! You are so special! Have you heard the "fable" about the starfish where a little kid is walking along a beach and picks up the stranded starfish and throws them back into the ocean. An adult approaches him and asks what he's doing. The boy explains that he is throwing them to safety. The old man looks down the miles of beach and sees so many starfish and talks about how, with so many starfish, it really won't make a difference. The little boy, with a starfish in his hand, says, "It will make a difference to this one."

You are that starfish thrower!

Putting up the tree!!!

Not really, I'm just practicing saying that.....

Ohhh, you big tease!!! Can't wait until you are saying that for real!!!

We finally got the keys of our new house yesterday, so a week of cleaning and moving is ahead. Most importantly I have agreed on the position of the Christmas tree come the time. Priorities and all that have a great weekend folks.

How exciting!! Congratulations. How fun to be planning Christmas in a new home!!!!

Happy Fall, y'all!

And good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, Jacob passed his driver's exam, so we have another new driver on the road. Heaven help us! The DDS office is about 30 miles from here, so we let him drive us home. Nancy was a backseat driver from heck, though. She had him more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. But, we made the trip back to Bellville, then everyone had their picture taken with him and his new (learner's) license.

I'm at Bernie's this morning, cooking sausage and drinking coffee.

I hope y'all have a great day!

Congrats to Jacob! Stay off the sidewalks!

Good sunny Sunday morning! The 1st Sunday of fall!!!
:pumpkin:

Our golf outing was great...beautiful day! My SIL is home! I am under a blankey on this chilly morning wathcing "Christmas Bunny" on Netflix... all appears to be good around here!

I planned on reading all of your posts from yesterday & this morning before I posted, then I realized I have 30 pages to read! You chatty people! So I'll post 1st, then read...I need to get my hiney outside for a walk!

I hope you all have sensational Sunday planned!!!

Make it a great day!

:snowball:

Believe it or not, but it is overcast here in northern California. Oooo, maybe that means it will cool off and maybe even rain. I love rainy weather in the fall. I plan to go over to my classroom and get ahead in making copies for at least two weeks. I have my lesson plans completed through February now, and all I need to do is make copies of learning packets for each week. We have school this-coming week, but we are off the first week of October due to our 6-1 calendar. All of us at school are really looking forward to that first week off! When we come back, we will work on Halloween stuff; and then we will be into November! After three weeks of working on more fun stuff, we will be off for Thanksgiving. Then we will be back for three weeks of learning and some fun Christmas stuff and then "Home for the Holidays." I just LOVE this time of year! There is so much to look forward to and to plan for. Have a great day, everyone.

I've been on this site for a few years and this is the latest in the year that I have ever posted. I'm so excited. I do believe I'm going to be logged on on Christmas Eve (If I'm able to get on).

You HAVE to stick around and post throughout the season! It was easier to get on last Christmas Eve than it had been. I think they did something to the site to give priority to registered members over non-registered browsers.

So good to know that you found the baby squirrel a safe place to go and recover ... you've saved a life and made it better!
