If these hosts really bought as much as they say they do, they'd all be living in a homeless shelter.
Boy, what did I miss today?
There is an app called Zite that is a reader. I have it for my ipad, but if you can get it for your Fire, it's awesome. I have a Christmas tab and it searches for stories that are related to Christmas....it's really cool, especially this time of year. Check it out!
Hello Everybody! Wow 91 days till Christmas and Autumn has officially started. Alot to clelebrate then!
Hope you are all well. Enjoy the last week of September! Excitment!
Sorry can't do individual replies to everyone. It's impossible with my toddler at the moment!
Festive Spirit!
Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
It's a BEAUTIFUL morning here! It started out in the lower 50's (unheard-of around here in September) with a light breeze and the sun is shining. Wow. I have all my office windows open, and I'm thinking of firing up my Mulled Cider candle. I was trying to wait until October, but I don't know if I can.
I let Jacob drive my truck (and me) all over creation this weekend. He's never been really interested in driving the golf cart or 4-wheeler or anything like that before, but now I think we've created a driving monster. LOL
He and I worked on his hunting area yesterday, using the tractor to harrow are get ready for planting next week. I love driving my Dad's tractor. It feels like he's right there with me. Strange, I know, but he loved driving that tractor, and he loved that hunting plot.
I gotta get some things done. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
Good morning everyone!
Happy Monday! Normally, I wouldn't be excited to return to work, however, we're so close to another milestone (tomorrow) and today marks only 50 days to the Christmas Season! We can't go wrong with those numbers - as provided by Crown. To further add to the excitement, it is a safe bet that the Christmas Blossoms thread will be debuted this week! Possibly even today, as it was debuted on this date a year ago. Crown is still hanging around the forum, so my fingers are crossed that we can see magical photos from "A Christmas To Remember" in the Crabtree Valley Mall!
What a weekend. It wasn't very busy but it was still great to relax, especially on Saturday night. Yesterday was a little busy. I had practice in the afternoon. I was able to participate in warm ups and then a few throwing drills. It was great to get on the field, once again. Now, I'm just hopeful that my recovery continues so that I can play in just under two weeks in Boston. As long as I continue to rehab, I should be OK.
Yesterday evening I had my first hockey game in nearly two years. It was very exhausting. As previously mentioned, it was our first game as a team. Some of our guys really haven't played hockey before and a small number of guys hadn't played together before. It will take a bit of adjustment. In a competitive game, we lost 3-2. A couple defensive breakdowns costs us the game. Oh well! It was a good time and I enjoyed being out there. I can't wait for my puck-handling skills and skating-legs to return. It's been so long that I've lost both!
Another week is here. Let's enjoy this one. Signs of Christmas are popping up here and there. Not quite everywhere yet, but that makes it even more special when we find them. Christmas will soon be in full "Blossom." Only 50 Days left until the Season! And, in three months from today, we'll be celebrating Christmas Eve!!!
Have a great Monday, everyone!
Congratulations to Jacob!! Glad he's taking to driving! And it's great that you're both preparing for hunting! It's extra special that there is a "third" with you on at least part of the journey as well!
