Even some native English speakers have a tough time. I wish I could speak another language fluently. When I took (a lot of) French classes in college, I had to look up many, many, many words! That's natural! Carry on and be proud of what you are accomplishing. I majored in English in college and received some great advice: Correct English is that English that gets your point across!!!

Hubby just made fruit smoothies in our Vita Mix (Thanks, CAH). Why, do you ask? Because it is so hot here in northern California. I heard a rumor that it is fall in the rest of the nation!!!

So much for a quiet evening...a worker got sick and I have to go to work at 7 until 10:30. Then back in again at 6:30 am on Monday.
I am at least getting lots of hours.

Hi everyone!

This turned out to be a great evening - I had so much fun! My mom and I went to the store to pick up flowers and we ended up buying Halloween pots to put them in. We took those home and then we were in the festive spirit so we went to another store to buy a bunch of Halloween decorations. The store also had Christmas decorations out - woo hoo!!

When we got home, apparently we got my dad in the spirit too, because he put out a bunch of our decorations from last year while we were gone :]

In about 7 weeks we will be the exact same way - except putting up our Christmas decorations!!! That'll take us a whole weekend lol! We have so many boxes it is insane.

Read through the posts, great to see everyone is doing fine, having fun at amusement parks, studying hard, playing hard, getting better. Prayers are with those who are having struggles, dealing with family matters or fighting obnoxious annoying diseases we all wish would go away.

Gosh, 44 days til the season....isn't it amazing? It seems like yesterday there was 100 days...

I love the feeling that I get when I come here, especially this time of year.

It's a nice breezy morning here....I'm cooking chicken nachos for the wifey...she's studying for a huge test tomorrow...and then only 2 more tests before starts her last rotation of clinicals, then she will be called Dr. I'm so proud of that girl.

Well, I'm off...I've got to read the rest of the boards, set my fantasy football lineup, do some reading on Nascar, and then I'm going to clean the house. I got my yard all cleaned up and prepared for Winter, so now I need to start paying attention to the house and getting it ready for the Holidays....

I can't believe I just said I need to start getting the house ready for Holidays....awesome!

Good morning, everyone!
I'm feeling a lot better. I'm still a bit congested, but I no longer have a fever so that's good. It's starting to look and feel like Fall! The leaves are changing colors and the weather is getting cooler. I'm ready to skip Halloween and go straight to Thanksgiving!

How's this for Santa answering your Christmas wishes? On Thursday, I was looking up outdoor decorations for out front because our first 2 Christmases in this house, we've only done lights + an old sleigh + some ribbons, greens, etc... but I've wanted something "bigger" like some reindeer or something. Well, it's been a pain int he butt because a street near us has been clsoed for roadwork so we took an alley to get through... and who was laying by a trash can? A little outdoor reindeer! She just needs some new lights (and a parner) and she'll be good as new! Hooray!!

Good evening, friends!!

I have missed you all so very much!!

I am having a wonderful time w/ my sister. We have been doing a lot of shopping, eating out, bowling, movies, tourist stuff, etc. You name it.

I have also been taking care of my neighbors dogs & house while they're away.

Adrian got back today from a business trip out of town. It's nice to have him home.

How are you all? Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers!!

I will be around again on a regular basis later on this week once all quiets down a bit.

I've been seeing so much Christmas in the stores! So beautiful!! But, I am way behind the times & don't have a smart phone, otherwise I'd be snapping pictures like crazy.
