The Nutcracker Sweet tea is by Celestial Seasonings. When I found it, it was tucked away on a bottom shelf, but I found it 'cause I was looking for the holiday flavors!

I can get a little rest this evening, but Mr. is running a film show and probably won't get to bed until after midnight ... poor guy. But he does enjoy running the film shows. Everything on the show is usually from our own collection, and he enjoys seeing an audience's reaction. I've seen 'em all, so I stay home and update the website with the program for the next show!

Hi!

I'm watching Dancing With The Stars (DWTS-does anyone else watch that?) and just trying to unwind. Like gabulldawg said before, it was unusually muggy this morning but I've had my Autumn decorations up since Labor Day weekend.

We're supposed to get a bit of cooler weather during the middle but then right back up to unseasonably warm weather coming back. Bummer. :-?


OH!!!!! On the good news front: I bought my 1st Christmas gift (Mom) and 1st box of Christmas cards at Target yesterday (Sunday). YAY!!!!!! :-D

Happy October 1st everyone!!!

This morning I am coming down with a bad cold and I have a terrible headache. I need to start taking zinc to see if I can get rid of this cold. Let's hope the ibuprofen kicks in for now!

My sister's surgery is at 1pm.

My niece had been doing good up until this last week. She went in for an infusion last Monday and they always do blood work at the same time. Well the blood work showed decreased liver function. So they had to take her off of her anti inflammatory pills and cut way back on her methotrexate. So now she is really starting to hurt again.

Your family has certainly had its share of bad things happening. I feel so bad for your little niece. I will be praying for her and your sister too xoxo

What do you put up? I just do fall decorations with a few jack-o-lanterns mixed in but the boys love spooky stuff! Thinking of incorporating some...

We put up pumpkins, witches, skeletons, a haunted house candle holder, interactive items. We try to stay away from gore, make it more fun for the boys.
We put up lights outside. We had more stuff like a talking Frankenstein head, a dancing ghost, etc... but the boys destroyed them a few years ago.

Monday hello! Didn't get to post yesterday ... by the time I was ready to sit down and post in the evening, I found the Internet was down. I restarted the modem, router, and computer, but no good---the problem was on the ISP's end. It was down for about 3 hours. :-? I missed you all!

Didn't sleep well after that, and Mr. didn't sleep well after looking after his dad all evening, and then Mr. had to get up at 5 a.m. ... well, it's time for a mug of tea.

Another reason I may not have slept well: I found Nutcracker Sweet (vanilla and cinnamon) tea at the supermarket yesterday and had to sample it, but it was nearly 7 p.m. before I got around to it. Can't drink caffeinated tea that late and expect to sleep well. But it tasted very nice! cheesy

Arrgh !! I hate when I get over-caffeinated !!! xo I hope you get to reset tonight xo and Mr. Too !!!

Hey everyone! Hope you had a good day! Typical day here, if there is a typical day in education.

Watching some football....hoping the Cowboys play a good game...just got off the phone with my Mom....she was rubbing in that she had the new iphone 5 and I didn't....but I'm happy for her. After all the gadgets I had growing up that she didn't because she was buying them for me...she deserves it.

I'm about to read the boards and then start searching for the schedule for the abc family countdown to the 25 days of Christmas...I know it probably isn't out yet...but it will be sometime this month and I love looking for it....if anyone sees it let me know!

Good Monday morning everyone. Rainy day here. Temp was 57 when I left for work and expecting a high of 63. We needed the rain. After having a well go dry 5 years ago, I rarely complain when it rains.

We had a nice weekend. Spent most of Saturday in Pigeon Forge, Tn. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are both getting their Christmas lights up. Of course we had to visit 'The Incredible Christmas Place' again. Sunday we had 2 great services at Church and watched Braves baseball in between.

My son is a huge Chipper Jones fan. We watched/recorded the 3 game series between the Braves and Mets (Chipper Jones farewell weekend). Ethan is upset to see Jones retiring. He has been with the Braves my son's whole life. Losing your heroes is a sad part of growing up. I remember Willie Mays retiring in 1973 then 1979 saw John Wayne die and Roger Staubach retire.:-?

I know what you mean. When I was a kid my heros were The Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore) and the TV Superman (George Reeves) and of course, Captain Kangaroo. It was really sad to see them leave the world.....xo

Good Morning MMC!!!! We are off to a cool start here in central Indy where we currently stand at 50 degree's on our way to a high of 64. I have to go pick up my youngest niece from preschool in about an hour. My sister and brother in law dropped her off on the way to the hospital. It looks like I may get out of a lot of the babysitting this week. My aunt still has 3 weeks of vacation to use up so I think she is going to take the rest of the week off to help out. Which works out since she only lives 2 blocks away from my sister. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
