If you want to get into the woods, you can drive the tractor for me while I plant the rye patch for the deer. cheesyDon't worry about me. I'm just a bit burned out with everything that is going on here. I need to head out into the woods again.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a cool rainy day here in central Indy with a high near 54 degree's. Quite a change from yesterdays 78 degree high. I'm just hoping that the rain moves out tonight and doesn't stick around for our big fall festival tomorrow. Well it's actually going on today too. So the people with booths are probably hoping that it doesn't rain today also. If the rain does hold off. I may run out there for lunch. Some hot apple cider and a deep fried milky way sounds good. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Homecoming high school football tonight. School gets out at 1:00 with the homecoming parade at 4 and the game at 7:30. Big stuff for a small town.
A group from our church is going to Hiawassee, Ga on Saturday evening to see the Christian singing group Casing Crowns in concert. Should be a great time.
Have a blessed day everyone.
The only thing better than seeing Casting Crowns live is seeing them live in the Smoky Mountains! Have a great time!
Friday morning hello! Still dragging some, but we're going into a three-day weekend, so I can stand it. Here in the U.S. Monday is Columbus Day, but seeing as how it'll be Thanksgiving in Canada, there's a good excuse to have a turkey dinner sometime during the weekend! As the LOLcats say, "Nom!"
Part of my "tired" is because Mr. hasn't been getting as much sleep as he should, from looking after his dad, and if he doesn't sleep well, neither do I. Wednesday the doctor told MIL that it could be a matter of days ... he's getting "clingy" and afraid to be left alone in a room. Although, when the doctor gave FIL about 3 months, that was 7 or 8 months ago. Mr. is "on duty" for a few hours each on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I'm hoping I can get him to relax some in between.
I'm hoping all of YOU get to relax some this weekend, too.
I uploaded a few more pictures from the StealthCam. They include a few cool shots of a bobcat walking through, and Farmer Brad on a tractor...LOL!

No work, no babysitting today. Going to get busy and get caught up on laundry and other stuff around the house.
We are planning to buy Six Flags season passes this year. We use to get them when the kids were little now we are going to enjoy it with the grandchildren. I am looking forward to Holiday in the Park and Fright Fest, it's been a few years since I went to it.
I hope you all have a Merry Weekend!!!
That's not normal to wear that after Labor Day? That's what I have on right now.
If you lived in Texas you would understand. We get cold during the fall/winter but we also have our weird warm days when everyone is out in December and January wearing shorts! cheesy
As I mentioned already today will be up in the 80's then drop drastically over the weekend down in the 40's! Capris and Flip Flops today, tomorrow a winter coat. Cloudy, winds up to 25 mph and COLD!
I forgot to mention but last night my daughter invited me to a dinner at the college she teaches at. They have a Culinary School there and every few months they let the staff invite friends and family for a gourmet 3 course dinner for free! It's part of their schooling to cook up dinner and serve it. Tipping is not allowed and makes me feel a bit guilty because of the hard work they do but it's a school project they get graded on. The food was excellent!
My son-in-law, his brother, his mother and my mom were all there as well. We had such a nice time visiting with his family and lots of laughs! I love hanging out with them.
Well now you know what happens when the reindeer can't keep up anymore, Seawaters.
Sorry I spoiled the surprise, Seawaters, I just couldn't resist showing Made what you are making him. When you're finished, I want one too!!!
OH MANN!!! I WANT ONE TOO!!!! PLEASE - PRETTY PLEASE... With a marshmallow hot cocoa type of PLEASE!!!!!

That sounds like a miracle! Is it something you can get at Walmart or Target? I have never seen it before...I know you live in PA like I do...could it be a regional thing (I'm not sure where in PA you live)?
From another thread here on MMC:
We're looking in the Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, & New York area (within a 2 hour drive of these cities) for individual homeowners that elaborately decorate their homes for Christmas to compete against each other for a cash prize.
If you or someone you know lives in this area check out this post!

Lauriebear too! Who else in here is from the areas listed? We can travel all over to help! :???:We need to get Judesmama to enter. Then we can all go and help her decorate.

Hello! How are you all guys today? I hope that much better than me because I'm terribly freezing. I cannot even feel my feet. Everytime I turn on the heating, my landlord turns it off. He says it's too hot for him. I required for heater and I really REALLY hope to get it tomorrow otherwise I won't take it anymore in such a cold. That's mental!
I also did some reading today for lectures but still plenty of it is left for the weekend. Urgh. I suppose that higher education has never been easy to achieve, hasn't it? ^^![]()

Good afternoon Christmas friends!
It's Friday! Here we have Fall break all next week!
Yay! The kids are exiting!!
We are staying at home, but are taking some road trips.
Tonight I'm taking the boys out around seven. We will look at the stars
and I have bought them some new flashlights to use on our walk.
Its getting dark here around six! (and cold)
We thought of going up the mountains next week, but there is
something wrong with the water in the cabin. So we stay home.
I also promised the boys to take them fishing on Monday.
Im feeling better! Hurray! So GLAD it's Friday!
Join me for a cup hot chocolate with marshmallows?
I'll make one for you =]
