Good morning everyone,
Aside from yesterday's travel (from Cornwall back to Ottawa), it was a quiet Thanksgiving Monday. Laundry and lounging went very well together. This week should be fairly busy, however. I have the gym and then practice tonight, gym tomorrow, possibly the gym and hockey on Thursday and then possibly the gym on Friday. It's a lot of "gym," I know, but now that I can lift with flexion (bending my left knee), I have to work on getting myself back into playing shape before heading to Sarasota in two weeks.
It's a chilly morning in Ottawa. The temperatures is currently 5c (41f), but feels like 3c (37c). There were certainly a lot of coats on the way to the bus stop today. As for me, I was only wearing my work shirt. I always refuse to take my coat out until mid-November. Until then, I will wear a sweater for warmth, but that is all.
35 Days to the Christmas Season. Signs of Christmas should begin popping up everywhere now, especially in Canada with our Thanksgiving just having past. Only Halloween and Remembrance Day remain between us and Christmas, however, stores traditionally begin to flood their shelves right after Thanksgiving. With that, I am excited to visit The Bay in Rideau Centre this week, probably on Wednesday, to witness the progression of their Christmas Wonderland... At least, it usually starts the week following Thanksgiving. We shall see tomorrow! My blackberry camera will be on hand, of course.
Well, have a great Tuesday, everyone! It's a four day work week and we're only one day away from spending tomorrow at the 'Pines. Good times will be had!
