Christmas Countdown - 2012

So, I like to tell everyone I do not listen to Christmas music until November 1. Yet, 101 Strings Orchestra's "The Glory of Christmas" seems to be mysteriously playing on my computer.

Good morning, Christmas friends. The weather is cool, warming up during the day. It is supposed to get really warm next week. I hope the weather man is wrong! I've got a little laundry to do, and I have to go over to the school to organize all the copies I made. Right now, the copies are in piles; and I want to organize them by "time of expected use." THEN I will finally feel organzied for most of the school year, at least until February 15. But we have another break in February, so I can finish every thing then. I will check in later to see how y'all are doing! Someone has to keep an eye on y'all!!!

That is a good thing ~ you never know what kind of mischief we can get into while you are gone :wink:

i love all the things you & your family do on the weekends.

The Fall is our busiest time, I only get one day off with my family and we try to pack everything we can into it. Next Sunday we are heading to Yankee Candle for the day trip. I love it but I have no energy left, I am exhausted.

It is great! So simple. Just follow the directions: roll the orange around on the counter, applying pressure to make it juicy. Cut a hole in the top like you would if you were going to suck on the orange. Get a peppermint stick (what we call "soft"), bite a little off each end, stick it in the orange and suck on the peppermint stick like it's a straw! (It takes only a few tries to get it "started." I am 65 years old and still do this. I also show the students how to do this at Christmas during our Christmas party. You can get the porous peppermint at Wal-Mart. The brand is Bob's. You can get the peppermint there now, at least here!

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday, but here was a mix-up at school and our transportation director didn't hire a bus driver for an all day event, thereby leaving 15 kids waiting for their trip. While it wasn't my plans for the day, I didn't want "my babies" to miss their event.

I needed you as principal when I was in school.

I can't. I have to work on something for a special person on the forum. Hmmm?

I have a headache. And it's been there since last night.

I hope the headache clears up soon!!

Late night getting in form Six Flags, I've been going since 6am. Pumpkin picking in the a.m.

The problem is that nothing bugs them and their mother doesn't enforce any rules at home.

LittleCS is upset, she started a new job 3 months ago and was let go because it just did not suit her.

Praying that she finds something else soon.

some new blodtest and stuff. Controlling the celiac disease ++
And I have so much to do here before we can leave 8:30 AM

Hey everyone! How are you all? I am well. Busy weekend had my family and me.

Friday, we went to a farm, where they had a corn maize, hayride, farm animals, and more.

Saturday, we went to a craft fair and in the evening, we went to Chuck E Cheese. The kids of course had a blast at Chuck E Cheese.

Today, we went to another craft fair. I got some nice crafts both days and good food. I spent a lot of time with DH, the kids, my sister, and her boyfriend.

Tonight, I head back to work. DH is already at work, so I am just spending time with the kids, deciding on what to make for dinner.

I hope all is well in your part of the world. Miss you all. We're getting closer and closer to the big day! Can't wait to keep counting it down!

I hope I am not stepping on any toes here, I have been through a similar situation and with the help of friends got on top of it. It is just no fun when the kids run everything.

Good evening everyone!
Work was busy this morning, mostly because the night shift did not do the work they should have so I ended up having to do their cleaning and restocking before I could do my morning routine.
Also I had a big party order to do, 3 trays of subs and got no tip! :-o

But enough complaining! Coming here always makes me feel better.

I missed the Red Bull Stunt, hope to be able to watch it later on line, or at least on the news.

Right now just relaxing, finished supper with the family. Enjoying reading and catching up here again.
